    Defender Williams (1982)

    Defender / IPD No. 651 / December, 1982 / 2 Players

    http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=651

Complete redraw of the playfield and of the plastics.

For this recreation I use the VP9 table from gtxjoe.

Big thanks to the following table builder and incredible preliminary work on other tables:

    gtxjoe for the VP9 table

nFozzy for the Space Station VP10 table. I adapt a lot of the Space Station script for the Defender Rebuild like the Flipper Code, the Desktop VPXdisplay code and images and so on.

Sindbad for the Rollover Switches from Victory

    bord for the playfield scan

and also a very big thanks to JPSalas, toxie, fuzzel and all the other VP Developers and all the other contributors who add their input to the VP community.

    INSTRUCTIONS

Landers (drop targets) capture Humanoids (Humanoid and Mutant lamps flash) to become Mutants. Hit flashing Landers to save Humanoid. Hit all 15 Landers/Mutants to complete waves and score Humanoid value.

Smart Bomb Button destroys only Landers, Pods, and Baiters on playfield. Completing odd numbered Waves awards Extra Smart Bomb.

Extra Ball awarded and Humanoids restored every 5th Wave.

Making Bomber Lanes advances Bonus X and lights Reverse. Reverse Button saves ball. Right flipper rotates Bomber Lanes (Lane Change feature).

Pod targets light Swarmers. Hit Swarmers from both Pods to open Gate.

Locking 3 balls or hitting lit Bull's Eye initiates Multi-Ball Play.

Yeah. The tables is absolutely gorgeous. I hear that it is a very hard table so maybe I need to stop swearing and practice some more. :good:

How can I change the position of the score board?
In desktop mode and another resolution the score board is completely off center

Thank you for sharing your work! Great table, I like the deep colors.

Oh by the way, the file date shows july 2017, maybe your computer needs a new CMOS battery :)

@manddrakke:Move the red marked flashers to change the position of the score board flashers. It is a try and error process for different monitor resolutions.

@mark70: I finished the table last year and never release the table, shame on me

Thanks for this table, plays absolutely perfect, it’s a fast, brutal, and unforgiving table IRL, and this virtual one is too !

      Top Job All involved !
