    Seawitch (Stern 1980)

originally built by UncleWilly, then updated by HauntFreaks, and once again updated by 32A and HauntFreaks

    • v2.0 previous unreleased version, now released
    • v1.2a fixed a issue where ball would get stuck in pop bumpers(i hope)
    • v1.2 This version is all Hauntfreaks tweaks!

went thru all the images and color corrected them... and brought all the backs to true black

    new custom color gradient

went thru all the materials and brought them up to modern standards

    reset the lighting values

offset the insert lights to get more depth to the bulbs

cleaned out all the clutter in the image and material manager to reduce the file size

added the ball and flipper shadows

    new environment image

I love this one, randr. Beautifully illuminated. I also love that you matched the color of the LedWiz to those on the table. Wish more tables did that.

Can the drop targets be replaced with animated ones in a future integration? If not, no probs. That’s the only thing that caught my eye as possible place for improvement. Otherwise, just gorgeous.

      Thanks!

After playing for an hour or so, I noticed something else: The ball sometimes gets trapped in an endless cycle of bouncing between the left and center pop bumpers.

Also – is the upper loop supposed to be shot from the upper right flipper? If so, the angle of that upper right flipper might be pulled down toward the lower right of the table (?)

I promise I’m not complaining about any of this stuff. I’m super thankful to you guys! And I know you want honest feedback about what’s happening during gameplay.

      This table is so beautiful!

I was playing this table today… looks great.  Was really happy to find it as I did not see it uploaded anywhere else.

I know it is beta and you are still working on it… one thing I did notice is that there is a weird lighting effect along the left side and upper left corner.  Is there a setting I can use to soften that light?

Graphics on the PF and objects look really crisp and nice.

Maybe be sure you have vpinmame samples installed and if you do try deleting nvram for the rom and see if that solves problem

We need a POP front end signature!!! Or no?

@STAT It’s in a cool state even in alpha, I’d say :) I use and play and tweak this since a long time.

Actually, I remember last time I saw it was in Cesenatico/Italy on holliday in the Eighties, but my parents didn’t let me play it. Well, after all I did a lot

Community effort to improve this would be really nice. I already like it, it is not that. But there has been a whole lot of changes to VP since release.
