I started Torch after doing Close Encounters, because roto-target. I then got side tracked with Nobs, real Nobs, Bubba Hollywood, and well frankly forgot where I was with this. So today I got some top arch pictures from FortyTwo on pinside (thanks!) who is parting out a real one and decided to spend a little time getting this together. I made a quick db2s from an image I liked and included it or you can use one from vpu which I'm guessing is a Wildman production. There are a couple options at the top of the script for turning ball and flipper shadows on or off and for selecting some tone or chime sounds (the dof config will play your chimes if you have them). I also included a nvram file that has the replay scores set to match the image on the apron, otherwise they are 0. press F6 as usual for the dip switch options. looking for feedback on things I've missed or could be improved (which I'm sure is many)
put torch.nv file into vpinmamenvram folder
1.01
- added missing right slingshot sound file, thanks jbg4208
1.0
- made inserts more visible when lit
- removed flipper shadow from shadow image where it should not be (my bad) thanks to mrs. randr playing video where I noticed it
unless someone comes up with something else I'm calling it done.
0.96
- fixed target sticking through plastic
- fixed plastic material settings
- fixed the two outlane rollovers labeled Right Roto Value and Left Roto Value so they scored the correct roto target value
0.95 added shadow layer, tweaked some of the physics a bit, fixed error rothbauerw found moved db2s to seperate download .. to come shortly
0.9 initial feedback/beta release

Haunt is right!
Oh yeah, you guys are the best hands down. I think that took all of 7 minutes to approve. A far cry from our neighbors where Flupper’s shiny ramp tutorial update is going on 5 months and still isn’t approved.

Looks great!!
Hands down this site is the quickest to approve tables. (For the sites that have the approval system. Itchigos site has no approval system.)
End of story. Case Closed.
Proof is in the pudding.
And this site isn’t selective on what downloads will be approved for that day, and which ones you just let sit there and wait.
While some authors are seeing other tables approved, and theres just sits there. You know they can see your upload, so you ask yourself, why go to the approval page and not approve them all? Doesn’t make sense to me and it doesn’t seem fair, VIP or not.

November 2, 2017 at 9:40 am #68275@bord think the difference is we all love this hobby. but 5 months that seems like something else is wrong Paul would never let it sit that long.
Black Hole took 3 weeks and Back to the Future never did make the cut
Table looks great Borg, can’t wait to check it out!! I was playing your Star Wars the other night and it reminded me how much I need to check out all these other “older” gems!!!

One observation. Some of the insert lights are very dim when lit. It’s sometimes hard to tell if they are lit or not. Especially the right drop target “when lit” light. You can’t even tell it’s lit even if you’re looking right at it when it changes from off to on. I cranked the intensity up to 100 and at least it’s not visible, but still not bright.
