VP9 version description
Thanks to ASOT for the table redraw and plastic resources.
Thanks to GTXJOE for the Buck scripting as well as the rubber sound scripting.
Thanks to kanario40 for the pics of the plastics and PF.
Thanks to DARK for the buck model and help with the 3D ramp
Thanks to my testers for helping to find bugs in the table. Hopefully we’ve found them all and I’ve got them all fixed.
whats new  VPX version
complete strip and rebuild, I replaced what I could with primitives
script rebuild
Stern apron primitive by Knorr
another big thank you to ASOT for his plastic resources, Â thanks to him I was able to rebuild most of the plastics with HQ resources.
I replaced the Cow and Moose trophy images with generic 3d models I was able to find.
Big thank you to Jp and GTXJOE for the buck  script but note that
***Everyone just needs to know right now that the buck is not 100% and I doubt it will be 100% at any point unless the true rom script can be figured out. Had some of the best minds on that and what I have on it now is the best we could come up with. It’s good enough for me as it allows you to play the table but I know some like an exact match. Also, the Elk will get confused sometimes and the Elk wont match the diverter on rare occurrences. This has to do with how the diverter is working. It refreshes itself when it happens so just keep playing on and all will be well.
I modified the diverter scripted, Â I’m hopping this does not happen.
their are a few plastics that are missing , Â if I get them I will update the table.

Â Â In the original version, they were offset from the lane plastic. Â Â Ball is unsaveable from most down the middle shots. Â Thanks for looking.

flipper size an dlocation match the vp 9 version
Elk script was modified, Â the ELK should match the flipper location now.
the way the 85vett set up the flipper for the elk diverter, Â The Start is at the open position and the end is at the close position.
the table was starting with the ELK in the open position.
after watching a few videos,  I noticed  that the table should start with the ELK diverter closed.

June 24, 2017 at 7:47 pm #57666Cool, thanks 32. I was about to raise that in my first time the ball could not be located after end of ball 1. I had Buck Mulitball and after all balls were gone it ran though a find ball sequence but could not be located. I’ll try the new version and let you know if it is replicated. If I don’t bring it up, its fixed for me, but I’ll leave this post so if others encounter it we know its an issue. Thanks man, its a real nice table. Love your work.
EDIT – Hey 32, same error on 1.11. Played Big Buck Multiball, lost all the balls and it doesn’t locate them, just does a search. The Big Buck Multiball bonus ends, but the end of ball bonus doesn’t activate so it just loops through the ball location. This time it did run through a few times and move to ball 3, but in the first instance on the old version it just hung in the ball location mode. Thanks again for the table, still a beaut.

June 24, 2017 at 8:38 pm #57668Love this table. I think unique-themed tables make for great fun. The artwork is great and gives it a classic feel but also with the bells and whistles of a modern Stern.
I did notice during Elk multiball that I would get a strange repeating sound that would drown out the sound effects. I couldn’t tell what it was. However the table would still play and not crash. Once all of the balls were drained the repeating sound shut off.

August 24, 2018 at 4:51 pm #96375I get a loud grinding sound when the Elk diverter is open during Elk Multiball, lasts until the diverter closes, has anyone notice this and have a fix for it.

August 24, 2018 at 6:00 pm #96377the only mechanical sound I scripted to the elk diverter is the “Popper” sound and its more of a solenoid sound then a grinding sound.
go to the sound manager to see if its the same sound you are getting when the Elk diverter closes
if you wan to remove it or change it go to the Elk diverter code and remove this two lines
PlaySound SoundFX(“Popper”,DOFContactors)
or change “Popper” to what you want such as this
PlaySound SoundFX(“Diverter”,DOFContactors)
the “Diverter” sound is not as loud as “Popper”
if the sound is still their
its a rom sound, the only way you can get rid of it or modify
is by modifying the rom sound with Pinball Browser.
if you have DOF, then you need to updated your DOF config file to not trigger the device you are currently triggering.
