The table I used for this mod is Lizards amazing VPX Sexy Girl (Arkon 1980)!!(Which is a Conversion Kit mod of Playboy.)
I want to thank Lizard for making an excellent table, and for allowing mods without permission.
I also want to thank anyone else involved!! Great Work Everyone!!

Info on Lizards original table download page…
This table has come to life with the contributions of many.
Thanks go to Destruk and Mickey for the original table
ICPjuggla and gtxjoe for bits and pieces i used from there bally playboy table
Arngrim for the DOF and controller code
Steely, pinball Ken,Koadic,Jimmyfingers and Rascal for all the ball rolling and associated code
Cyberpez for the changeable instruction cards (Which can be changed near the top of the script)
Seraph74 who provided the projector code mods to swap the images
Hauntfreaks did a shadow mask for the shadows and i also used his environment image as well
JP for his ball and scratches images

See original tables download page for more info.

      http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=12130#

Remember to thank the original authors of this table, as they are the ones who made this work of art.
I just added sound effects and changed graphics.

I also want to thank Steve “Slydog43” for which these table mods would not be possible to make if it weren’t for his help!!

I also want to thank Thalamus for telling me about the rubber hit height needing to be lowered to 27, because it was set at 30, and this will cause weird ball behaviour. I only lowered the ones that were set on 30. So the physics should be better.

I also would like to thank Allknowing2012 and Gtxjoe for helping me with adding timers to script. With Gtxjoes example script he showed me, I was able to somewhat fix the game over sounds, and when counting huge bonus after ball drain.

      **********************************************************

      v1.0

Added 32 Christmas songs. 11 are played during game. 21 more are played during attract mode. 1 of 3 music box songs is played with drain hit.
Also added over 23 sound effects.
Added 3 flashers using Fluppers Flasher Resource table (Big Thanks Flupper!!) . Red, Green and Blue. Triggered by bumpers and other areas.
Added “plungerreleasefree” sound effect from BorgDogs Buck Rogers VPX table, so if no ball is in plunger, it plays “plungerreleasefree” sound effect, and no others.
I added 76 pics to the projector.
These pics are activated in order.
They are activated by hitting the upper SANTA Rollovers,(Not the SANTA on left side above kicker.), and the “A” (Center Target), and spelling SANTA.
Then any subsequent hit on CANDY targets, or the A in SANTA,(Center Target.), triggers next pic.

      **********************************************************

YOU CAN ADD YOUR OWN FAMILY PICS TO THIS TABLES PROJECTOR!!!
MAKE THIS CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, BY PLAYING A PINBALL TABLE THAT HAS YOUR PERSONAL PHOTOS DISPLAYED DURING GAME!!
HERE IS HOW YOU ADD YOUR PICS…

FIRST YOU NEED TO NAME YOUR PICS LIKE SO..
“pic0” IS THE PIC THAT IS DISPLAYED WHEN GAME IS STARTED. SO IF YOU WANT TO SURPRISE A SPECIAL SOMEONE, SO THEY DON’T SEE PIC UNTIL PROJECTOR IS ACTIVATED, START WITH NAMING “pic1”
IF YOU WANT YOUR PIC DISPLAYED WHEN TABLE IS STARTED, NAME YOUR PIC “pic0”

      pic0
      pic1
      pic2
      pic3
      pic4
      pic5
      pic6
      pic7
      pic8
      pic9
      pic10

      and so on…

SO NOW THAT YOU HAVE NAMED YOUR PICS, YOU NEED TO IMPORT THEM INTO THE TABLE.
THIS IS VERY EASY, SO DON’T GET OVERWHELMED.
WITH THE TABLE LOADED INTO THE VISUAL PINBALL EDITOR, CLICK THE “TABLE” TAB AT TOP OF EDITOR. THEN CLICK “IMAGE MANAGER”
YOU WILL NOW SEE ON UPPER RIGHT OF WINDOW THAT POPS UP, A TAB THAT SAYS “IMPORT”, CLICK IT AND BROWSE TO YOUR PIC OR PICS AND IMPORT THEM.
THAT’S IT!!! BE SURE TO SAVE TABLE AFTERWARDS TO KEEP YOUR PICS IN TABLE.
      NOW ENJOY THE SHOW!!!

      *************************************************************************************

You can set this table for 4 players game and the pics don’t start over for new player, so you can progress through the pics with each of the 4 players turns.

I included a nvram file that will give you the easiest settings to try to accomplish viewing all 76 pics.
You can change these settings by pressing F6 on your keyboard, which will bring up dipswitch menu.
(The included nvram file has the easiest settings!! Also playing 4 player game helps!!!)

(PLACE INCLUDED MUSIC IN MUSIC FOLDER LOCATED WHERE VISUAL PINBALL IS INSTALLED)

I HAVE MADE 2 DIFFERENT dB2S BACKGLASSES. ONE IS A FIREPLACE, AND THE OTHER IS SANTAS WORKSHOP.
      FIND THEM HERE…

            I appreciate the feedback!!

I tried to get this table out a few days before Christmas, so people could play it before Christmas was over.

I wanted to add so much more!! But I think I will add improvements for next Christmas.

Been up all night trying to get this uploaded today.

            Mission accomplished.

I have actually been working on this table for quite some time.

I wanted to add STAT’s script to change plastics to different Christmas wrapping paper designs.

            But was pressed for time.

Also wanted to animate the fire in fireplace on backglass.

So many things I wanted to add!!

I got sidetracked by learning how to add them flashers.

But I am glad I added them to the table.

            I need some sleep.

            Have a great day all!!

            EDIT:

            SEE I AM TIRED!!

                    I really love this!

I’ve always been a big fan of all the original holiday themed tables. This one is spectacular…really like the projector feature and the included Christmas card like pictures that show as you play. The pictures are very homey and Norman Rockwell like. Nice selection. Good choice of Christmas carols as well….really sets the mood.

Ive got to figure out how to scan some of my old family pictures and import them into the game. I see that as one really nice feature….can’t recall if that’s been done before?

The table looks and plays just great…..flashers look really nice and love all of the sound effects, particularly the bells ringing.

Backglasses look very nice too…..I know you plan to animate the flames for next year, that will sure be cool, something to look forward to.

You can really see the thought and care that went into crafting this table. Hope it’s next weeks Game of the Week.

Thanks a lot for this awesome Christmas present Xenonph

I just wanted to do a follow up since I’ve imported a bunch of old family pictures into the table. That is really cool. I’ve basically got the photos alternating with the Christmas scenes that Xenonph provided with the table. It’s so easy to do I’d recommend to everyone to try it. It’s a real crowd pleaser. If you dont have the table do yourself a favor and get it.Leave the table in attract mode and you have yourself a Christmas music jukebox. There are times since I’ve loaded the photos that the flippers stick….not sure what is going on there but reloading the table usually clears that up.

Thanks once again Xenonph for this instant Christmas classic. Really looking forward to what you have planned for this table next year when you have more time to implement the additional features that you weren’t able to squeeze in this year. I wonder if it possible to get 7 digit scoring implemented as it’s very easy to roll the score with six digits.

That is exactly one of the things I want to implement on the Christmas table, and the GIJOE table.  7 digit display.

I can flip or rollover the score very easily, and almost every game with the 6 digit display. I can make a 7 digit backglass and implement that into table script, but the DT view LED’s I am unsure how to make or add the extra digit to script and to display. So this is why I haven’t made 7 digit version yet.

Another thing will be STAT’s script for changing christmas wrap on plastics. I want to be able to switch to different Christmas wrap patterns.

I was also thinking maybe pass this table around each year and have each author add there 2 cents to table for each Christmas.

                              I have so many ideas!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words my friend. It really means alot to me when someone says they have enjoyed my work. This is exactly what I am trying to accomplish. Something that the community will accept as good. With all those great table authors out there, it is hard for a new person to make something that is accepted with open arms by the community. And I don’t have a team of experts helping me make all these changes, or adding there specialty to table . I either learn how to do it myself, or it doesn’t get done. And having enough courage to upload something that you know will not even compare to the other great tables that have been made by the great authors, is hard to do believe it or not.

I will probably never be as good as all the other table authors, but by damn I will put my all into whatever I am working on, and will never stop trying to learn and make these better, so they can be accepted by the community.

I have found my purpose in life. I was born to do this!! I may not be the best, but I am still learning and will only get better.

I plan on working on these tables until they pry my dying fingers from the flipper buttons!!! (or until I am dead!!)

                              Carry on.

So I just updated this Christmas table with some extra options, and goodies.

(Wait until you see the dB2S backglass included with download!!)

                                Here is what I did..

                                v2.0
Connected flashers to coin insert, and other events.
Adjusted FS POV so table is wider.
                                Fixed DT Backdrop lights.
Added Plastics change to Left MagnaSave Key.(5 different colors to choose from.)
Added Bumper change to Right MagnaSave Key.(23 different “Bows and Ornaments” to choose from.)
Added GI Lights color change to 2 or Buy-In Key.(5 different colors to choose from.)
Added GI effect to hit events. (Used JPSalas script method.)
So now the GI lighting blinks if you hit Upper Kicker, and drain,(blinks while Santa says ho ho ho), and lower targets only when a new pic is displayed.
Added coin sound on Insert coin event.
Included 3 wheels for cabinet users.
Included new animated Fireplace dB2S backglass, with table download. (28 frames of animation!!)
(I want to thank my friend HiRez00 for animating the flames in the fireplace backglass!!)
(He did an amazing job!! I think it is perfect for setting the Christmas Pinballin’ mood!!)

Hope you all enjoy this table for Christmas!!

                                Carry on.

Thanks Xenonph! Love your updated version. Even more ‘gezellig’ as we say in Holland.

Cosy fireplace and my girls love to play around with the magnasave buttons to create their own table before playing (now the teddybears are their favourites).

Copied our own pictures from last version and we are counting down for Christmas!

Glad you and family are enjoying this table.

Here are some DMD extras that HiRez00 made for his cabinet to go with animated fireplace backglass.

Included is a Color RealDMD 128×32 Video, and DMD Image, for your front end software like PinballX.

Love this table, just one question, I don’t have any music playing during a game, should there be? Sound effects are all good and files are all i the music folder. Am I missing something?

                                      Cheers

                                      Dave

Sorry I took so long to respond,

                                        I have been really busy.

Yes there should be music playing while ball is in play.

Try redownloading and moving mp3’s into your music folder, and make sure you don’t play the mp3’s in a media player, as this may add an mp3 tag, rendering the mp3 useless in VP.

Really that is all I can think of, for you to check. You are the first person to say the music doesn’t play during game.

Does it start up with music? Or end with attract music? Or is it just in-game music not working?

Glad you like it, but hope you get the music working for you.

                                        Carry on.

Fine, I’ll be the one to give this table thread it’s deserved yearly bump.  Love this!!  Thanks again @xenonph !  Music is amazing and people freak over the inserted pics.  Has become a new holiday tradition.  Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to this fantastic community.  Best wishes for a joyful New Year.
