Had no idea this was a Pat Lawlor design. Makes sense though given the layout. Nice work, Javier and team!

October 24, 2017 at 12:22 pm #67425Hey
When the Skull moves up/down I get a really loud, repeating sound effect thats really quite off putting. Sounds like that sort of SFX you get when something crashes and the audio is stuck in a repeating loop.
How would I go about turning this off so it just moves silently?

October 24, 2017 at 1:28 pm #67428Me too, crazy loud noise from the skull on startup. Haven’t found the soundfile in the sound manager.

October 24, 2017 at 2:07 pm #67438somewhere around line 450 in the script you can find the playsound “motor” line. Change to something like this:
PlaySound “motor”,0,.02,-1,0,1,0

October 24, 2017 at 4:26 pm #67468here is an upgrade template to fix 2 problems
https://www.dropbox.com/s/in0qrmat26wx9pk/CSI%20Primivie%20BackWall.zip?dl=0
I included a new motor.wave sound (lower in volume) –> import it into your sound manager overwriting the existing motor sound.
Other major problem I just noticed.
the backwall Dome Flashers seem to be hidden by the backwall image.
I”m not sure what settings need to be changed in order to fix that.
easy fix is to build a primitive and delete the existing wall.
in layer 1 you will find Wall ‘”BackboardWallOff” –> delete it
you can also delete image “csi backimage” from the image manager
copy and past the primitive backwall from the template in my dropbox link
-import backwall.png into your image manager.
see a table you like help me find the resources so that I can finish it

The way easier way would be to just change the depth bias on the flashers to -100
