Big thanks for the update goes to 32assassin
– used my old VPX, 32A rebuilt the table on a modern template, script, objects and hardware
– I went thru my collection of evel PF images i’ve collected of since 2015 and combined 3 to make the one used here, its by far perfect, but good enough
– I also added object, flipper and ball shadows
– redid all the old lights
– modded and made some new materials

Hmm. Nice – I have Evel Knievel fresh in my mind since I played the old release quite a lot yesterday. Looking forward to come home and try this update.

Haunt and 32a, thanks! I enjoyed the first HF version back in the VPX Beta days (That was an exciting time). Can’t wait to try this version. Played the real thing in Las Vegas a year ago. Cool table!

Thanks for the update. I played the old version many times.
The new version is great, but I’ve got a few problems. The ball stucks in two places. There you can get him with a little nudge. But the ball stucks also one time in the kickerhole and I don’t get him out and have to close the table.

Table looks fabulous. But I have no ROM sounds at all. ROM is working because I see the scoring taking place during seemingly, normal play.
Any ideas?

this “i think” is one of if not the first SS table, it was first released as an EM then they made it an SS
so I believe the sounds are still chimes…. I could be 100% wrong…You need to login in order to like this post: click here

chimes work fine on my desktop, but looking at the script all the solcallbacks for the chime sounds are set for DOFKnocker, they should be DOFChimes, which may be the issue if on a cab depending on your settings.
