      FirePower (Williams 1980)

      My first ROM based game. Many thanks goto Walamab for letting me borrow and work off his script, Noah and Uncle Reamus for the the playfield starting point, and Hauntfreaks for helping me with the planet redraw. Please let me know of anything you find messed up!!

        Sweet. Thank you. I’ve had some small performance issues with the previous release of this table. So, I’m crossing my fingers that I finally can lay my PM5 to rest.

          I can’t get that top arrow, ball slows down too much on the top left curve.  Even took out the spinner and the gate, didn’t help.

          Other then that it plays very well, I played the real table hundreds of times.

              That has now been fixed! Still need a good shot but it it is MUCH easier to hit now.

                Saw this issue yesterday but it was so late that I headed to bed. Nice to see it fixed. Just had a couple of rounds and yeah – my PM5 is now a RIP. There is one thing though. I don’t remember how to light the target above the pop bumpers. In all the games I had I could not see any of them light up. Guess I’ll have to read up on the subject or there might be a slight issue there. Anyway. I like this release a lot. So, thank you very much WED21.

                Ah …

                A single “bullseye” stand-up target is located in the top-center pop bumper area- between the “I” and “R” rollover lanes. Scoring for this target is often misunderstood by players, due to the three lamp inserts located directly below it. The target actually scores 1,000 points. The three lamp inserts below it (mounted vertically on the playfield) are marked 10,000, 30,000, and 50,000, from bottom to top. These inserts actually indicate the bonus points awarded when the player completes F-I-R-E and POWER (see Lower Right Stand-Up Targets below.) They do not in fact pertain to the bullseye target. I have often wondered if the combination of the stand-up target and these inserts were originally designed for some other award, but have not been able to confirm this. The layout of these two items certainly doesn’t seem too logical, so it’s perhaps possible that points or award(s) associated with the stand-up target were changed in the game before it was released.

                              And i changed Layback to 75 at FS, Looks more 3D for me, esp. the Flippers

                                PM5 Version? Why were you not using walamab‘s VPX version?

                                  IMO – there still exists a few PM5 tables that playes better than the VPX version. In this case I could not point the finger at the problem. But, well – as I said. I prefer this version now.

                                    hmm cant get it to work …   pinmame visible and i can credit but not start … only table that doesnt work for me so far lol

                                      Odd. does attract lighting on table work? if not then its a rom issue make sure you have correct rom. If attract lights work try 4,5,6 for coin in maybe?

                                        Go to Line 314, and Change 0 to 1
                                        Delete frpwr_c7 from /nvram Folder, Start Table, then Press F3 once
                                        And be sure you have ROM “frpwr_c7” but i think you have (otherwise there should be nothing)
