Hi everyone,
I have ended up here after seeing a freinds virtual pinball and instantly I knew I would not rest until I had walked done this path of pinball creation myself. I am absolutely amazed at the amount f community content and work that is being shown!
I really cannot wait to get started. I plan to make a smaller version of a virtual pinball, possibly using a 19″ monitor to start with as I already have one lying around.
Any advise is very welcome, im sure its going to be a hell of a journey.
Anyway, greetings from the UK, i am very pleased to have found you all! :)

December 20, 2016 at 8:56 pm #44298My advice, even for a mini you should try and get a 24 or 27″ native 1080p monitor with good response time, monitors are a lot better than tv’s for input lag issues. Â I put a new 27″ LG in my mini for less than $200 (CDN) so it would probably be less than $170 USD. Â The other thing is don’t cheap out on the video card, you can get a Geforce 750 ti for >$150 these days, they’re good enough to run just about every vpx table. Â Use that 19″ for your back glass.

December 21, 2016 at 6:31 pm #44415This hobby is a nonstop source of fun, and a great compliment to real pinball. It’s improved my game a lot. Plus, just an all around fantastic community. Welcome.
PS — I second Dark’s hardware advice above.
