I just received a scam from someone claiming tpo be VPINBALL.com

You might want to try a question/answer system for the registration. Had this problem at PN, once we put it in stopped nearly all spam dead in their tracks just by asking a simple question every pinball guy should know.

Well i added recaptcha to registration and login today. i used to have questions that were pinball related but spam still found a way through some how

I got the “new” login with the key logo & the captcha. Tried several times to login but it still says I need to login.

Yet I’m obviously logged in.

Thanks for testing. I think you either didnt log out or cache page was logged in. I am still trying to make this work right but main problem is i have login option if your not logged in and if you are logged in there is no login option BUT this causes captcha to not work. Only way it works if i leave login option even though your already logged in. Im working on it and hope to have it working properly soon

Previously I did logout and also closed the browser, but did not clear the cache.

Now I just went to the website & was automatically logged in, presumably because I checked the box “Remember Me”. The login option is not displayed.

Ok well see then your ok but I hope new users and more importantly nEw spam registration users won’t get through as they will get the new recaptcha but that’s only so good but should help
