Hi,

Can anyone out there advise me on how to make my own kitchen cabinets?
It’s just too costly to engage a good furniture maker so I might as well try to do it on my own,
Please help.

I didn’t find the right solution from the Internet.

Cabinets are just boxes. Don’t over think it to much. What tools do you have?

As @randr says the boxes are easy, things like dovetail drawers are more complicated to set up but once you figure it out they too go pretty quick and I highly recommend full extension ball bearing drawer guides.

Agreed about dovetails they can be tricky but a simple jig and a router works wonders. I will say my kitchen is all custom cabinets made from hickory and no dovetails that’s getting very fancy and unnecessary for a kitchen drawer I would think
