Open the game in the editor – Click where the arrow is (attached image) so that the element “plunger” is selected.  Then under State & Physics on the right hand side, check “Enabled Mechanical Plunger.”

January 21, 2017 at 7:17 am #46250is there a way to activate the mechanical plunger?
Yes, mark the plunger within the editor, click options -> under state and physics -> select enable mechanical plunger.
Edit: just saw Dozer was quicker :)

January 21, 2017 at 8:17 am #46252I already played tons of games and I am not getting tired of it.
Addictive gameplay and with its great sound and light effects it makes me always come back to play.@ Dozer just to report, the option (F6) for the alpha targets (extra ball only / EB with Robowar letter) is switching vice versa.
Btw. how do you guys like to play the game, with or without collecting a Robowar letter for the alpha targets? (as far as I know the real table is without).
Again, a thousand thanks for the table! Yes right, I like it very much :)

January 22, 2017 at 4:01 am #46284This is a hidden gem with very additive gameplay. The table and physics are very well balanced and good control over the ball. This one will keep me interested for a long time. Thanks again Dozer for this one.

January 22, 2017 at 8:48 am #46290Here is a nice video where Todd is explaining the rules for this table:

Only the multiball multi-bonus feature is not mentioned.

January 23, 2017 at 3:49 pm #46316Dozer — I always love your tables, but this one may be my favorite. What you’ve done with this thing visually is incredible.
- The dimpled playfield adds a lot of depth
- The shadows that underlie the flippers are super cool
- Lens flare on ball adds excitement
- Inserts look really realistic: Looks like a real bulb underneath them, and they don’t lose detail when lit
- GI is really dynamic, but never “overblown”
- Physics are super
Thanks so much!

January 24, 2017 at 1:07 am #46327Cheers Ben and to all who have commented.
I think the dimples turned out pretty well – I was going for a look which replicated the attached image.
In the future I might try to make them a bit more discrete in where they appear (next to light sources etc.) so it fudges a faux displacement map effect.
I’d also like to try that flare effect on toys which move (like a crane for instance) Â where the mesh changes it’s orientation to a light source.

January 24, 2017 at 4:03 am #46331The dimples effect really turned out very well, and I think it has never been made before.
And what I also like is that you let the player choose to turn it on or off in the script. Very much appreciated!
I use both, I turn it on for the effect and sometimes I turn it off (e.g. for deeper colors).

January 24, 2017 at 10:36 pm #46366Loaded this table and a buddy heard the sounds, said “Hey I played that game at the Pinball BBQ.” We proceeded to play the game for two hours.
FANTASTIC table!
One thing, why does it appear that my nudge board is not working with this table? Is there a setting, like the plunger setting, that I have to enable?

January 28, 2017 at 6:28 am #46626This is awesome. Â Robowar has been one of my favrouite tables for many years ever since kevinleedrum built the DX7 version a few years ago, and it has always remained in my cabinet in the favourite list. Â Â This looks so real – the lighting, bumpers, flippers, physics – thanks so much Dozer for all your work on it.

February 5, 2017 at 8:14 am #47249Dozer, do you have any plans to add these awesome lens and flasher effects to your TX Sector table?

February 5, 2017 at 9:41 am #47257Hey there, TX Sector is very rough, it was my first VPX table so it would be nice to update it at some stage. Â There are some good resources available for it in the VP9 version which was released around the same time. Â I may get to it one day but it won’t be for a while as I’m taking a few months off from pinball to concentrate on some other real life stuff. Â Â When I get back to it, I think I’ll make it the 1st thing I fix up though :)
