Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I’m 37 and loved pinball as a kid. I would like to thank everyone for the contributions they make, both in the amazing games and in the support on the forums. I was able to get set up and running with little problem, and all the issues I did have were fixed by searching in forums. I would like to specifically call out Thalamus, whose write up on the wiki regarding the pinDMD v3 is very informative and will be helpful to me, as I plan on getting one in the near future. Cheers!

August 10, 2017 at 12:02 pm #60306All good except get a Pin2DMD display. Support for PinDMD3 is… lacking.

August 10, 2017 at 12:09 pm #60308Don’t know that all support will fade away whatever happens … but, yeah. Today I would go for that solution.

August 10, 2017 at 3:03 pm #60357Thanks for the greetings and I have looked at the PIN2DMD stuff. I am a little confused on what I actually need, because as I understand it (I could very well be wrong), I need to build the display. It does look awesome.

August 10, 2017 at 4:25 pm #60372There is nothing wrong with Pindmd3 as a product. I’m happy with mine – if it breaks though. Pin2dmd will be my next choice. I must admit that since I own a PinDMD3 and it is working great I haven’t really studied the details of all the options. But, I believe I saw that you could buy at least very near a completely built for some extra bucks. Head over to VPU and ask – I’m sure they are willing to explain the options to you.
