Space Time (Bally 1972)

I had a crush on this machine ever since seeing a sweet restore thread on Pinside. Lo and behold the restorer was our very own @manples. He provided great scans of the playfield and plastics as well as countless photographs to help me build the Time Tunnel accurately in Blender.
@rothbauerw did all the rules/scoring/scripting work. I learned a lot from working with him and seeing how he scripts these things. My life has never been the same since he used “blenddisablelighting” on this project. It is the greatest.

Oh my, that tunnel effect is cool! This is a really good EM. I’m not a big fan of them except for 4 million BC and now this one. Nice work!

Sweet looking table. Love the tunnel – damn this thing looks great. I remember trying to do this back in the VP6 days (seriously) and could never get it to look right. Hat’s off to you on a great job.
Now, one question – any thought of doing its predecessor: Time Tunnel. Almost same layout (tunnel is moved, 2 less pop bumpers), but different graphics. There’s an existing FP table which might be a good starting point…

Great thought about Time Tunnel. The art package is awesome. I’m looking for resources right now. The FP stuff would be a good starting point for a redraw. The two playfields have almost everything placed exactly the same where an item isn’t missing (bumpers, drain post). Might take me some time to circle back to it but it is something I’d like to do.
