Stern’s Star Trek LE, thanks to SAM emulation updates by DJRobX, we can now emulate some of the LE tables!
Table by freneticamnesic, based loosely on 85vetts PM5 table, with code additions by gtxjoe and DJRobX. Redraw of plastics and playfield done by freneticamnesic.

Ok, Thought I was losing my mind. Was trying to figure out what I screwed up from the table working perfectly on my laptop then moving to the cab and no lights. Thanks for the info Randr. Thanks Fren for the table love your Star Trek work!

Looking like the B2S commands will need to be scripted like an EM unfortunately… unless the VPM devs can work some magic, we’ll see. Turn B2S off if you want to see the lights! Lol

Awesome! The blue tones nicely differentiate it from the pro along with strip lighting up the sides. It is now brilliantly clear what the strip lighting offers.  The only quirk found is the ball sometimes gets stuck behind the Beta Quadrant ramp (not sure exactly where) but a nudge sets it free.  This was a great end of weekend treat.

Not sure why I seem to only have ROM issues with Stern tables. I downloaded the LE ROM from Stern and renamed it to st_161h. Seemed to not register when I would add coins. Acted almost sluggish. When I use the previous ROM and just rename it in the script to st_161 it works fine though.

Bloody Hell ! this to me is one of the most realistic tables i’ve played to date. I love the ball interaction with the ramps, flippers and targets. This is a friggin masterpiece ! ( except the db2s) Seriously thank you so much for your efforts, and letting me appreciate how good some tables can be. Instant top 5 !

I thought the lights looked nice and clean… I just turned off the b2s… wow! Â Didn’t even realize what I was missing. Â Looks awesome! Â Â

ball lock and the ball goes missing ? am i doing something wrong ? i am using the rom without a h at the end, but the h is just free play rom isn’t it ? ball lock on the left hand side. happened 3 times now and i have to tilt out to get past missing pinball ?? still plays amazingly though !

You ABSOLUTELY MUST download the latest (2.39) VPM build from VPU AND use the LE (st_###h) ROM with this release. Â It will not work otherwise.
