A conversation in the El Dorado City of Gold prompted me to do an update of loserman76’s VP9 Target Alpha. Â This table is primarily script, graphics and sounds from Jeff’s (loserman76) table, with everything updated to work in VPX and some things changed over to my version and stuff added.
Options menu changed to my versions and accessed by holding down left flipper before starting a game.
Hi Score tape changed to my version, still usual keys to work (left/right flipper to highlight letter, startgame to select).
DOF config updated a bit but should work fine, DOFchimes have been added and configuration submitted on configtool site.
Works with loserman’s directB2S found on vpforums.
Still some piddly little things I want to add, but would appreciate any and all feedback, it’s been a while since I’ve played a real on of this family of tables.

Just uploaded a minor update to v0.95. Â Main change was adjusting top rail so full plunge shot could go above upper left flipper as seen in a few videos, see change log for more.

There was a real TA on the work for sale board yesterday for $200. Looked very good condition. Missed it by about hour cause it was coming home and going somewhere for that price.

Target Alpha is pretty cool artwork, but if anybody finds any good Solar City playfield artwork resources I’d love to have that version.

Love the table, but the flipper volume seems low? Can I adjust anywhere

If you edit the script there are two lines for when you press the flipper button lines 358 and 365 that read like:
PlaySound SoundFXDOF(“flipperup”,101,DOFOn,DOFFlippers), 0, .67, -0.05, 0.05
the .67 in that line is the volume, 1 is as high as it will go, not sure how much difference it will make but  give it a try.
similar code in lines 491 and 499 for the flipper return, but those are already at 1 so can’t raise any higher.  If upping that isn’t enough you could export the sound files then edit them in something like audacity to raise their level then re-import.  or export some from another table that you like and do a “reimport from” in this table to overwrite the existing files.
