The Who’s Tommy Pinball Wizard (Data East 1994)

Well this is my first table. I builded it from scratch during the beta phase of VPX this summer. I upgraded it and now it’s time for an official release.
There are some options and mods that you can enable/disable in the script ( TNT mod and Union Jack Mod included)

Credits/Thanks (in no particular order):
-Franzleo for the ramps and the airplane models

Sorry I did have one issue. My analog plunger does not seem to work with this table. Is there something I can do to get it to work?

Such a great table. And what an amazing list of collaborators. Fantastic teamwork, guys. This one feels especially realistic. The mechanical sounds are great. Love the way the balls drain into holes without “disappearing.” Mirror animation is awesome. I play this all the time! Thanks so much.

To fix analog plunger, click on Options on the lefthand side to open the Options pane.   Now find the plunger object on the table.  Right click in the lower righthand area approximately where the plunger looks like it should be.   You should see Plunger on the list, pick it.   Now on the Options window, scroll towards the bottom and you’ll see a checkbox for “Enable mechanical plunger”.   Check that and save the table.   Works fine after that!

This is a nice table.   I highly recommend getting the Pinsound enhanced sound set up to go with it!

Looks and plays fantastic.

I noticed one minor flaws.

I never played the real one, so I can´t compare but it is nearly impossible to miss the skill shot. I don´t use a real plunger and it is not possible to overshoot so that the ball goes around the orbit. If you use full strength the ball only hits the first bumper on the right.

Is this normal?

I’ll look into it. Uploads sit at 100 percent and may take a bit to “finish” I can mod the upload when I get to a computer currently out in field on calls but can check on it soon
