      I noticed that Avatar LE works in vpinmame (unlike the other LE games that have extra boards). The only thing missing if you run the avr_120h rom is the NAVI BALL (which is the white ceramic ball from TZ). Is there any way to add this? I think that would be very cool.  :good

      Can’t you? In VPX you can define ball mass and stuff like that. Where does the ball come from? Is it in the normal ball rotation or does it kick out of somewhere else? I’m not too familiar with this game as it is but something like that should be easy enough to add, with ball ids and custom mass etc…

      Besides that, the LEs normally have different solenoids/more solenoids, so it’s probably not as simple as the rom just working. For instance, the metallica LE rom works just fine for me. I just can’t do anything with the non-emulated hardware…

      So far it looks like the NAVI ball is simply a powerball that is detected upon regular pulse from the trough. When its detected at the start of the ball, all hits are 2x. Unlike all of the other LE models it doesn’t appear that Avatar has AUX boards or anything different from the PRO, so I think it should be easy to add. I will look into it further.

      that should be easy enough to add I think LTA? I was never good at ballid stuff though so I am probably not the guy to try it :)

      shit if i knew you werent aware of that left ramp trigger?!? ( i think the shot next to it registered it if i remember)  I just figured you knew and i didnt want to nag at you cause the day i noticed it when i got online to find you and message you there was like 4 posts you made telling people “to fucking do something your god damn self you might like it, it feels fuckin amazing”   and  “you have the same fuckin tools i do try using them”  or “if you dont like the table lighting get a better fuckin monitor” now those arent verbatim quotes but im pretty sure they are sstill pretty accurate lol.  i was like shitttttt i dont wanna play avatar THAT BAD…probably be too frickin dark to see the ball anyway.!!…  :yahoo:   :yahoo:  thanks for the update!!     whats up with futurama trek did i imagine that when i was nodding out drooling loaded  or was that something really happening???

      Thanks for the update, Fren. We have an avatar here in town at the movie theatre. Tilts if you look at it funny, stuck balls behind pop bumpers, and routed playfield. I still throw quarters at, since it’s worth 50 cents even in its poor condition.

      Your table plays awesome. What a contrast to the beast here in town! Totally appreciated. Looks beautiful.

      @Stat, looks pretty good. If you have the text, font, and images (Word, Photoshop or whatever you used), I can drop this into a vector-based template with Stern copyright and correct part number, resize it, and export as swf. I’ve done dozens of these in Illustrator.
