  • I fully coded the table converting the vp9 table, script is complete, switches numbers, lights numbers and code (this table is one of those exceptions tables in PinMame).

Sources are really low for me , I opend a WIP treat, but no one responded, so I am try to publish the table, so maybe will catch more attention.

I am posting it here to see if someone would jump onboard or rebuild it or having access to sources can provide better playfield and plastics images.

This table is NOT INTENDED to be played at the moment (if you decide to play with it, it's all on you)  and so please don’t post questions about this or that is not working.

This table is posted to try to make a good one in VPX and can be used as blueprint.

WIP 1.0 (adjustment made by @singinfool64)

New physics to feel like the real table,

    Adjusted targets

    Lowered the ball roll sound

Adjusted left ball loop on the lower playfield so that the ball properly goes through the gate

    Adjusted your flipper settings.

Changed some of the generic sounds to real pinball sounds, such as pop bumpers and drop targets

Such a unique table. Hope someone jumps in to help out.

Got completely trampled on this game at a tournament. Just couldn’t get a good handle on the rules. My wife on the other hand placed first in her grouping on it.

Hey there, Goldchicco.  Thank you, so much, for working on this table.  I have one last little favor to ask.  Do you think you could possible try to update the VEGAS  (Premier 1990) VP9 table, to VPX?  I like this table, but the VP9 table is really bad.  Please try to work your magic with that one.  Thanks again, for all your great work.  You are my hero.

It will be interesting to see if anyone can find good resources for this.  This is a very good candidate for a vector redraw… it’s like 99% straight lines and solid colors.  I’m tempted to start making a “good guess” for this, but things would certainly be inaccurate, so I’ll wait to see what the community finds.

      Hello Looking to help

      I found these

      https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/original-tony-ramunni-beat-clock-1903242993

looks like original artwork  I comped this together using the images and a playfield protector as a guide for element position  seams to match up well.

is it a good starting point for a ReDraw if you would like?

I could use some help.  I imported your image, mjmj, and I positioned it how I thought it should go on the playfield image (based on other Bally PF images and specifically JP’s Black Pyramid).  When imported into VP, the positioning of things is way off. This may be as expected, but I’m not sure what is correct.  Can someone look at these files and propose a properly aligned PF image using only the line drawings?  Specifically, it looks like more padding is needed at the bottom of the playfield image, but I’m not sure what the exact standard should be.

      Hi

I suspect the VPX play field is too short but Its difficult to tell from the images can you post a grab in the editor with the play field visible in the background to remove perspective/layback to see what the aspect ratio of the playfield is Circles being round is the best guide.

The line artwork and the play field protector lined up perfectly with round circles so aspects ratio would seem correct. or a very lucky coincidence.

      Thanks M

Thanks mjmj.  I think I’m close.  Can you provide a copy of the file without the purple lines for the playfield protector?  Just delete that whole layer.

OK… this is still a big mess, but if someone can confirm that the table can be made to play properly with the image in the table now, then I can proceed with coloring the playfield and plastics in.  Can someone who knows VPX and would be willing to contribute confirm this?  Image and table attached.
