VPX version of Dungeons and Dragons from Bally from 1987.
It's the first table that I've developed and it was quite a learning experience!
This table has been created using 10.6 so that version or greater should be used to play.
I would like to send a very special thanks to the following.
- mfuegemann : For being able to freely use his VP9 table to convert to VPX.
- nFozzy : For coming up with those brilliant flipper physics subroutines
- flupper1 : For creating another great set of resources (flupperDomes2) for more realistic flashers.
- sheltemke : For playtesting the table and advice on tweeks and improvements.
- brandonlaw : For help in cleaning up and improving the payfield, plastics, and ball graphics.
- I could go on forever thanking many many more of you guys for the hard work bringing this hobby up to such an awesome level!
- VPX development team: For making and keeping VP up to date and one of the best pinball simulators available
- To anyone I may have forgotten, please let me know and I'll add you.

Please be aware that, due to two incorrect solenoid assignements, you may need to update your dof config files before using this table. Otherwise you're might have a solenoid that stays energized and that's a bad thing.
v1.3.0 - I was never quite happy with the flashers i had in this table so i wanted to make a few changes to them and also tweek the lighting and physics while i was at it. I used Flupper1's newly enhanced flashers and wow, they make a huge difference.
v1.2.0 - Update for Arngrim for some suggested Controller.vbs implementation changes.
- Updated lights, pegs, posts, and rubber elements.
v1.1.1 - Improvements for performance and that jerky plunger.
v1.1.0 - A few tweeks to lighting, and table images (thanks Brandon).
- Left ramp physical walls (not visible) increased due to some reports of balls launching off of the table.
v1.0.0 - Initial release

December 23, 2019 at 11:46 am #155433Right at this moment – my left magna save isn’t working. God damn it. I agree with Randr that from the preview, it seems you’ve forgotten to add some materials here and there. But, we kind of have the expect that from a first time creator don’t we ? Thank you very much @zigbane

December 23, 2019 at 12:35 pm #155443hello thank you for the table but I have the impression that you forgot to name the material it is for that you have a lot of part in pink.

December 23, 2019 at 12:54 pm #155445hey guys.. thanks for the feedback. lots to learn yet. i am not sure what you all mean by ‘pink objects’. admittedly, i am color blind and reds are mostly my issue so i cant discern pinks too well. if you give me an example of what you mean, i can take care of it with a new version.

December 23, 2019 at 1:15 pm #155450ok i just asked my wife and she pointed out the pink things. i think i tried to clean up the materials and images and got rid of too much. in my old versions, the material were assigned, but now they are missing. i didnt notice when i pkg’ed up the table for release because i cant see that color too well and the table looked the same as it did. ill correct all of the “bad” elements and put out a new version soon.

December 23, 2019 at 1:40 pm #155454For the first table of someone who does not distinguish colors, this table is really good! Thanks! ;)

December 23, 2019 at 2:02 pm #155464Hmm…I’m not seeing this pink stuff. But I have problems distinguishing between certain colors like that as well.

Man, great job on this game! I haven’t played a real one in a number of years.
Fascinating problem. I can see where color blindness would make finding default materials difficult. If your trouble spots are reds you can change the default material color to something easier for you to discern. Go to preferences/editor and switch the default material color.

December 23, 2019 at 6:58 pm #155514I just uploaded v1.0.1 so hopefully that’ll be most or all of the missing materials.
Great suggestion bord! ill look for that and set the default material color with the Strange Science table we’re working on.
