Rev.2.0 – New table conversion to FSS MOD (Skitso Mod 2.05)

Well, this is not just an update, it is a “new project” with the same theme, the famous customized Black and White version of the Twilight Zone made by Great American Pinball.

As some asked, and others warned, even though I and some didn’t notice any problems with the HauntFreaks version, I decided to completely convert the Skitso version of the original Twiligth Zone to the customized version Black and White FSS, and here we are in this new “update”.

Well, what’s new? in fact the FSS conversion is all new, but the main thing is:

  • Total conversion of the Skitso Mod 2.05 table to the Black & White version, already being converted to the FSS version (I do not have the FS version of the B&W version, but I have not modified the original table, so I believe it can work on the FS or Desktop version , but I didn’t do this test);
  • All FSS conversion is new for this table, I kept the controlled lighting of the original BG from the Skitso version, I just added lamps to improve general lighting;
  • New flippers;
  • New BB and BG;
  • New instructions cards;
  • Improved playfield lighting for BW version;
  • Complete overhaul of the lighting for BW version;

I will keep the HauntFreaks version for download for anyone who wants, but the new version is much better I guarantee it.

In the file there is also the original physics of the Skitso table for those who want to import it back, I modified it because for me the version of it didn’t look good with my hardware.

The original table is from Ninuzzu (fantastic table by the way). The conversion to Black and White Edition was done by HauntFreaks (in my first version rev.1.0), and Skitso, Team Rothborski, rothbauerw and bord (in my second version rev.2.0)… and then the conversion to FSS format was done by me.

I want to thank Ninuzzu, HauntFreaks and Skitso and everyone involved in the original releases for the great work … thank you very much.

I also thank Daifet for using his back panel (great job, thanks, it looks great on the machine).

And finally I want to thank Tute_Primus (Juan) for doing tests on the table after being ready to search for any errors and so far none have been found … thank you very much Juan for your help.

All the modification was done through Nick’s guidelines (Arconovum). Thank you very much for the guide videos.

Well, I hope you like it, you can improve it, but it’s a great start to have fun in this table format.

Thanks to everyone involved in creating Visual Pinball and creating the tables, without you the fun would not be the same.

Well, I believe that’s it.
