This is a strip and rebuild of frens table
https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/tales-from-the-crypt/
I start grinding my teeth when I find a VPX table that is still running on the old db2s controller code.
All primitives have been set to toy and hidden physical objects where added
multiple primitive upgrades, such as Darks apron/plunger cover
version 9.0
new PF apron texture, tomb texture by Skitso
plunger LED light updated

October 30, 2018 at 6:14 pm #102223oops apparently the plunger was holding the ball in place over the triggers
I added a hidden wall to keep the ball in place.

October 30, 2018 at 7:35 pm #102254Looking a lot better with that plunger fix. the left orbit stops midway up instead of going through and in multiball the ball rolling noises start to get louder, like they keep layering over one another then it’ll continue until you leave the game. getting closer!

October 30, 2018 at 8:55 pm #102258kicker sw38 had a setting of fall through, this would make the ball fall through the PF that’s why we where having the constant ball rolling sounds.
left and right ramp have been updated, hopefully they will be fixed now.
I might need to update the sw38 kicker code. similar to what I did with sw52 if their are still problems with it

October 31, 2018 at 8:13 am #102305Thanks for the update 32.
I dont have any DOF feedback on the left sling. The right sling and other DOF feedbacks, work fine. Just NOT the left sling.
Can we please get the fix for that when you have the time?

October 31, 2018 at 8:37 am #102308Nice, I was able to play a full game with the only issue being a lost ball. It seems it was stuck behind the left ramp and no matter how hard a nudged it wouldn’t ‘unstick’ itself.

October 31, 2018 at 6:26 pm #102391can you tell me what shot you made when the ball ended up under the ramp. The ball had to jump a wall in order to be their.
I was having an issue when I shot the ball up the left spinner,
the ramp was too low, and the ball would be kicked back. I adjusted the height and position of the ramp and the hidden walls along the spinner shot.
the hidden physical wall right of the left metal ramp was set to a height of 29. the ball jumping this wall is the only way I could see the ball ended up in that location.
I adjusted the height of the surrounding hidden walls
adjusted the height of the physical ramp so that we don’t have a situation where the ball flys off the metal ramp.

October 31, 2018 at 8:18 pm #102396I think it was the left loop (spinner) shot. It was a multiball so i’m not 100% certian.

November 1, 2018 at 11:26 am #102432Hey 32, love the table! Last night, after I plunged the ball, I immediately drained the ball, was awarded a freeze, re launched, and drained immediately again. However; the ball was not recognized as drained and I was forced to restart.
The second problem I ran into wont be much help, but during three ball multi ball I “lost” a ball somewhere on the table, and was forced to restart. I didn’t catch where the ball went missing , but once the third ball drained, the game registered there was still one alive some where. I waited for the table to see if it would spit it up, which it didn’t, and nudging it didn’t recover the ball either.

November 3, 2018 at 10:33 am #10254632 great table, really enjoying it!I used to own the real pin for several years, and really miss it.
Played many games and multiballs, and haven’t had a stuck or missing balls since last update.
One thing that could use some adjustment somehow is the RIP Saucer hole/walls. I can’t seem to get the ball to drop into the saucer when shooting from the right upper flipper. It is a key shot for the table. The ball seems to bounce right out of the area and never drop in the hole. Perhaps something can be adjusted there?
Thanks again for the VPX version, it plays very close to the real pin!

November 3, 2018 at 10:49 am #102551First of all I wanna say thank you for your hard work on this table. It looks and plays great.
I noticed one error. During Multiball when you have collected both Jackpots from the ramps, then I have to shoot the crypt and for each hit you get an add-a-ball. Then when the fifth or sixth ball ist kicked in, I get the following error. The same happens on the 6-Ball-Mode. Please see the attached screenshot.
Is this an error in the script of the table or is this just happening on my computer. Thank you for your helpt

by default the ball shadow and ball rolling sounds script only supports 5 balls, you always get an error once you go past that.
I changed it to 6 balls (witch I think is the max number of balls you get during multi-ball)

November 4, 2018 at 4:32 am #102604Very smooth and fast gameplay. Thank you for the wonderful table.
In the desktop mode, it looks like the ball is hovering over the ramp (right ramp shot).

November 4, 2018 at 3:31 pm #102661thanks
just uploaded a version with
most of the hidden physical ramps adjusted to match the height of the wire ramp primitive
added primitive drain guides
increased the size of the upper left kickers, shot from the upper right flipper should be more responsive now.
