music and sound design - iDigStuff

    original table coding - JPSalas

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What started as a joke between myself and a friend quickly got out of hand.

Introducing Tiger King (Original 2020), a mod of iDigStuff's recent Rolling Stones (Bally 1980) upload.

Featuring all your favourite Joe Exotic music tracks such as "Here Kitty Kitty" and "I Saw a Tiger" as well as fantastic audio shout outs littered around the table added by iDigStuff himself.

I have to give a lot of credit to "iDigStuff" for his help with the music and sound design on this table mod. It absolutely brings the table to life. You can use the right magnasave to skip music track or use the left magnasave to stop the music, using right magnasave again will subsequently play the next track.

This table uses the Rolling Stones (Bally 1980) "rollstob" 7 digit rom. If the user wishes to run both tables without any conflicting high scores etc it is possible within the latest VPinMame update to use a rom alias. Instructions on how to do so can be found in the video link below.

    https://youtu.be/Wv8vpmzpdjs

Download file includes front end media including a tarcisco style wheel image and video toppers.

PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple of uncensored swear words used in this tables audio.

Unzip contents. Place table and b2s within your "Visual Pinball/Tables" folder

Unzip "Music.zip" and place the entire "Tiger King" folder under "Visual Pinball/Music"

You may wish to turn off the rom sound, in game press F1 and uncheck the "use sound" option.

1.3 - Super secret scripting update used in collaboration with an upcoming release.

1.2 - Rectified script issue with cabinet set ups displaying desktop backdrop lights over playfield.

    1.1 - Initial table release

Hi! It is a mod, perhaps I named it incorrectly. A mod of Rolling Stones (Bally 1980)

Still haven’t seen the show.  I hear it’s like driving by a car accident, you don’t want to watch, kind of regret looking at the train wreck but impossible to not look.  LOL

Looks like a nice table, will have to check this out. congrats on the release and good timing lol

I believe the Tiger king would consider this a tribute table.  Nicely done.

OK. I have a thousand machines on my VP. To my family, it’s my thing that keeps me out of trouble, so nobody pays attention when I’m playing other than to say once in a while ‘that machine is kinds cool’….that was until I loaded Tiger King up. Suddenly everyone comes out of the woodwork to play it when they hear the music coming from down the hall. Thanks for this. It’s very well done.

I am cracking up playing this table.  $3 dollar bill!!  The sound clips are just hilarious. And the opening song just pulls you in. LOL.  Definitely catches the essence of that insane show!!! Thank you!

If you have a problem where the ball never appears (after entering coins and pressing ‘1’ to Start) . . .

Try opening the script and changing solenoids from 2 to 1.  It worked for me.

Thanks again to iDigStuff in the Rolling Stones table for helping me solve this issue.

I’m sure there’s something painfully stupid I’m overlooking but I can’t get this to play at all.  I’ve got the music folder in the right area, the table is in the folder, however on startup I get ActiveX can’t create object PinUpPlayer.PinDisplay.  Where am I going wrong here?
