Time Fantasy (Williams 1983) – Incandescent Bulb + Rainbow RGB LED B2S Mod

Based on backglass by Mfuegemann.

A combined B2S double feature by RpT!

The original backglass was way too bright for my setup such that I couldn’t even make out the detail of the artwork. So as that needed fixing I decided to also add some extra animations and whatnot to go with my enhanced lightshow for this table (see my youtube channel).

Needless to say, neither of these options are intended to emulate a factory version of this machine so apologies to the hardcore purists! ;)

“Authentic” mode – Incandescent Bulbs

Designed to replicate a worn machine with bulbs of varying age, condition and type (whoever owns this table might have swapped a few out)! A warm feeling backglass that’s non intrusive but also has a few subtle effects thrown in for interest.

“Fantasy” mode – Rainbow RGB LED Mod

Designed to compliment my psychedelic lighting (see the youtube) for people who think the backglass should also be colorful! Using some of the lamp triggers that I left out from that lightshow, hopefully this also enhances the theme of the table.

Install note

Remember that to change between the two modes, right click on the backglass while the game is running. You may need to switch VPX into windowed mode. Once you change between “fantasy” or “authentic” restart the emulator.

Bonus NOTE 

Thanks for reading this far! For the VPX table itself, uncheck “show mesh” on lights “s1” and “s2” to resolve a clipping issue where the bulbs show through the sling plastics. Hopefully this table is now DONE and set up to the max so i can move on to something new! ^-^
