    'VPX recreation by ninuzzu This table started as a FP conversion by coindropper. Clark Kent continued improving it at graphics and physics level. Then he asked me an help with lighting and other things and it evolved into something different. We have completely rebuild the table, so I would call it a "from scratch" build, rather than a conversion. Flupper and Tom Tower joined the team later and enhanced the visuals with some stunning models. You guys rock! This table is maybe the most modded ever, lots of options in the script. Lots of fun!

    Credits/Thanks -coindropper early development -nFozzy for scripting the trough, lock, magnets and other things - JPSalas for the help with the inserts and fixing the script (you know who is THE MAN!) -Tom Tower for the mini clock, pyramid, piano, camera, gumballmachine models, wich I retextured. -Hauntfreaks for the Mystic Seer Toy, wich I retextured -Flupper for retexturing and remeshing the plastic ramp -Zany for the domes, flippers and bumpers models -rom for "Robbie the Robot" model, wich I edited and retextured -knorr and pacdude for some sound effects I borrowed from their tables

    v1.0

    -initial release

    v2.0

    - new trough, lock, magnets code

    - real subway

    -added sidewalls

    -tweaked the flippers a bit

    v2.1

    -fixed ballstuck at gumball (thx stat)

    -fixed plastic peg bug (was visible with bumper post option enabled)

    -table optimization : removed more than 80k polygons

      Hi ninuzzu, which roms should I be using on this TZ release? I am getting no game sound and sluggish performance with the home rom – Twilight Zone (9.4H) – ROM – tz_94h.zip and I cannot launch the game at all using the arcade rom “machine terminated” I do not know the name of that one. The release played sound fine with the earlier WIP. Just let me know, thanks!

      I will try this next – Use the latest VP10.1 and the very latest PinMAME beta

      Update: Yeap, updating both Pinmame first, then VP10.1 fixed the issue. I also downloaded rom –
      <h3 class=”ipsType_subtitle” style=”margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: #000000; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 300; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.3; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;”>Twilight Zone (9.4CH) – ROM – tz_94ch.zip – which I did not have in my roms folder :)</h3>
      Thanks to Randr for hosting the latest VP10 files here on Vpinball.com, easy peasy.

      super version ninuzzu,beautiful and really enjoyable to play :)

      for having the gear to the clock turning, here’s the fix

      Sub UpdateClock

      Dim Time, Min, Hour, temp

      Time = CInt(Controller.GetMech(0) )

      If Time <> LastTime Then

      Min = (Time Mod 60)

      Hour = Int(Time / 2)

      ClockShort.RotY = Hour – 45

      ClockLarge.RotY = min * 6

      Clock_mech.RotY = min * 6

      LastTime = Time

      PlaySound SoundFXDOF(“fx_motor”,101,DOFPulse,DOFGear), -1, 1, 0.05, 0, 0, 1, 0

      Else Stopsound “fx_motor”

      End If

      End Sub

      because mapping the solenoid directly isn’t accurate enough, it’s like the drac of monster bash just to take another example, almost everytime we have custom code involved to a solenoid and a toy that is moving we need this kind of dof workaround just like we need the custom script to make the movement of the toy accurate

      and another thing that could be improved, the ball rolling sound is too loud compared to all other tables, even at high volume of the cab, i can hear the rolling sound easily, i encounter the same with your big bang bar (any plan for an official release? :) )

      So much going on in this table it’s crazy. Everyone that has played it at my house looses the ball because they are looking at all the add ons. Very funny and cool at same time

      This table is fantastic!  Great job!  I had a TZ in my collection for a while and this feels and looks like the real thing.  So much fun!  Thank you very much.

      I did have one issue while playing today.  The left upper flipper shot into the piano caused a missing ball.  It looked like the ball went right through the piano and then disappeared.

      Thanks again.  Great table
