@pgheyd evreything is ok don’t worry ;)
I will give a try to the VR one day, I think the relief (I hope it is stereoscopic..?) could be interesting but actually I don’t have time for this and I really love to play with my mini cabinet.
I work on a computer all day and don’t think much of putting a helmet on my head in the evening to relax and rest my eyes :)
Having said that, I am interested in virtual reality, I had already been passionate about 3D photography since the 80’s.
It was interesting to read you about how b2s work in VR.
Cheers
Yea Blacksad you HAVE to give VR a try it is incredible.

Excellent job on this build very well done. I like that you went through the trouble of animating the buttons and plunger, bravo. Great attention to detail.

TOM also no DMD, Pinbot, no display, Bride of Pinbot, no display, etc, etc…

March 21, 2021 at 6:29 am in reply to: VR Room Star Trek The Next Generation Minimal (Williams 1993) #230547Couple issues I’m having and it seems it’s just me. Still running 10.6. I see no DMD? The flasher is set visible but still nothing also, Korpus1 primitive on layer 8 (sidewalls) are far too high. I’ve had to drop the Z axis by -445 but I can see in your screenshot they are okay? Very strange.

Hey guys just downloaded the table, quick question. For some reason I don’t see the score displays? Is it something I have to set in the editor options?

Experiencing same behavior. AI’s turn is always cut-short b/c of it nudging. Will turn-off AI nudging as prescribed above as a temporary workaround. Thanks for this table. One of my favorites. Hope there is a permanent fix at some point in the future
You must have an accelerometer that doesn’t work with this table. Simply set myPrefs_AInudge = 0 in the script (Line 87). This is specifically what this update is intended to address.

I’ll be playing this tonight. So should I dust off the old keyboard and start thinking about another dream team project? ;)

I don’t seem to be having the same experience as most people. I win easily on Legendary. The PC seems to give up a lot of the time. With the ball in the upper half of the table the flippers will turn from red to green and the PC lets the ball drain. I fired it up lat night and on Legendary it scored very low doing this on 2/3 balls.
EDIT: I’ve just spotted what’s happening. The PC is tilting the table every time. I’m running a KL25Z accelerometer with the old style nudging turned off. So how is it tilting?

Yes we have been trying to rectify that issue but for some reason when using that accelerometer the A.I. will immediately “tilt” when it attempts to nudge the ball. Unfortunately I don’t have a pincab so I have no way of testing it. So for now simply turn off AI nudging in the script (Line 87) and it will run fine. I’ll let you know if we come up with a solution.
