Thanks for sharing, being an older Aussie, and finding another childhood flashback is awesome .. better still , I remember it being a very different layout with dubious graphics by todays standards, this is neat and clean with less dubious graphics, so my memory must be off, although I worked in an arcade that was very second rate, so it was probably cobbled together ! Cheers.

I just stumbled across this thread and have thorougly enjoyed the read and the ingenuity ! It looks great and so inspirational.
You mentioned other things you have built ?? .. .. care to share a link ? I love tinkerers .. I’m not one .. I have the vision, but I don’t have the patience, you appear to have both so more power to you !
Cheers,
al.

Thanks so much for sharing .. We’re coming to get you Barbara ..
The original movie remains one of the most brilliant pieces of horror constructed, and you have done it proud.
Now I need to sit down with some popcorn and watch it again as it’s probably been a couple of years .. but it’s going to be hard to pull myself away from you table for a little while !
Cheers,

Thanks Dozer, great table!
I worked in a little arcade as one of my first jobs, it was actually called Aladdins Castle, and the first pinball I ever unstuck coins in, probably snuck a few free games for mates, cleaned and played was also Aladdins Castle :)

Our arcade also taped the cleavage !
I thought it was probably sensible, there was enough teenage hormone in the place as it was !
Olympic athletes would would come in and sniff the air before the days of EPO/HGR ..

Thanks randr .. once I muck this one up, I can hopefully just replace coils without having a burnt/melted mass :) and I’ll check them out as an alternative.

Continuing with the grunge series of tables (I do live near Seattle)
That settles it, I’m leaving Au for Seattle !
My daughter is over there at the moment on her way back home, and keeps sending me photos of pinnies shes finding all over the place .. here we can’t even find an arcade with anything other than 1 modern table and a bunch of ‘whack-a-mole’ or similar activities .. She has now, at the age of 24, come to the realisation that when I tell her and her boyfriend that they aren’t arcades .. I’m right :)
These older and aged tables just seem more .. pinbally and less arcadey to me at least, and the wizardy of BD and HF is a delight. Thanks so much for letting me be nostalgic !
Cheers,
al.

What is this sourcery ?? I turn my back for a month or so, there’s a hundred VPX updates, a bunch of stunning tables I haven’t even had a chance to look at properly, and now I stumble across this .. ( actually I saw PinUp Player in a post and then googled it, headed to another forum to find out what it was, and then realised it was here all along .. doh! )
Looks like an amazing addon, Terrys vids look easy to follow, cheers Terry, and I can’t wait to dive into it !
Thanks @NailBuster !
