Let me first start off by saying thank you to Randr and everyone else who contributes to this community, all of you deserve only the utmost respect and appreciation for everything you do. I started off in this hobby not knowing a single thing, and my biggest accomplishment using a computer was being able to defragment a hard drive! LOL. Needless to say with the help of some videos (TerryRed,GtxJoe, Randr), and support from the members here, I ended up creating what I consider to be the center piece of my game room. Reading the description, and downloading each file made me feel an appreciation of the hard work that went into making each one. Unfortunately there will always be people with more money than time that don’t care about the process of something being created. This creates a market, and a business opportunity for some people. These people understand that “legally” they are not selling you the tables, roms, etc., they are selling you the shortcut, or selling you the hard drive that just happens to contain all of these files for free. Of course I am not a fan of this process, but I understand why it has been created, and personally feel it will be virtually impossible to stop these types of businesses because once they have the file they can make unlimited copies. They only thing you can possibly do is prevent that particular user from downloading any newer or updated files by either banning them, or charging them for the use of the website (I know you are not a fan of fees Randr, but maybe only for known users that operate a business). The issue with upsetting anyone in this type of hobby is that it could draw unwanted attention.

Nice work on both the pincab and mame cab, clean. Your pedestal mame cab is similar to the one I built. Except like RandR, I only need the 2 player controller setup. Lol

You are certainly off to a good start. The pc setup seems more than sufficient, I am also currently running the gtx 1070, and I currently have a Williams wide body size cabinet made all from 3/4” plywood. I agree with LynnInDenver, do not go with mdf. I have a 3 screen setup with a 46” 1080p for the playfield, 30” backglass, and 19” lcd 3rd screen. I like the oem style look to the cabinet so I hide most of the 3rd screen, it only shows the dmd part. I have a stern style dmd panel that is 1” taller than standard just in case at some point I decide to use the full screen I can just make the cutout bigger. The two major holes to consider might be your sub, and your coin door if you decide to have one. The rest of the holes will be smaller ones for like the plunger, and some buttons. You might also want to consider routing a slot length wise on the top of each side panel to fit the playfield glass guides.

I love this idea because I have been torn between using all of the awesome B2S backglass’ that a lot of great people have worked hard on, or all of the great pup packs everyone has created. I actually have been considering making 2 separate playlists so I can enjoy both, but this pup pack merges both worlds beautifully! Great work!

Wow, just that easy! It works beautifully now. Thank you very much Nailbuster for the solution, and thanks to you, TerryRed, and anyone else who contributed to PinUp Popper, a great front end that is sooo user friendly.

Just finished watching the episode, both smiths had nice looking pieces, close call. I’ve watched every season and every episode, definetly one of my favorite shows. It’s cool when they take the time to do a damascus pattern.
R.I.P Sunset pincab

Looks pretty cool Scottacus. Gotta blow the dust off that sucker BorgDog.
Either one of you interested in using your 3D printers to make a couple bucks? I need to find someone to print a logo for me, i want to be about 3” x 3” x 1”. I would want the same logo printed 3 total times. Could be plastic or metal. You need to login in order to like this post: click here
It sounds like a great idea, I guess depending on how long you want the show to be, there may not be enough content to have it once a week. Maybe once every two weeks or once a month. Gwen brought up some good ideas, I also think it would be cool to interview some of the people who make contributions to this great hobby.

<p style=”text-align: center;”>Ok thanks, I appreciate it. Of course I’m gonna salvage the old controller. There is a salvage pile inside my garage, and once a week they come and pick it up. LOL</p>

If the mouse comes back again, here is how to resolve that situation:
Next time you see the mouse tell it that it can’t live in your house for free. It either has to move out on its own, or start paying rent.

I connected the ledwiz board I had and it was recognized by the pc. I downloaded ledblinky just to get a baseline and it recognized the device. I ran the included ledtester and it seem to work fine. When I replaced the ledwiz.dll with the newer modded version it gave me that same error I was getting before, so I guess I will stick with the original for now. I think I am going to try the LED strip light amp route and see how that goes. Thank you very much to everyone who helped me with this

Outhere, I have been looking at all the links you have provided, and have been referring back to the Pinscape page which is extremely helpful

Oh ok I understand. I am probably leaning towards just using my ledwiz, and buying some relays, I have a couple of finder relays already, so probably just stick with those. I should require a second power supply to run the relays right? I am afraid that the error I was getting trying to use the ledtester is a totally separate issue I am having but not sure. Maybe I will do a fresh install of everything again once I get the ledwiz and the relays set up.

In your opinion, If I go with 2 8’s I shouldn’t have a problem right?
