I’m trying! But dang if it maybe non stop attacks and site blocking them causing loads to spike. At this point it’s a wait and see thing

I think the problem is most of these new users are getting here using some stupid spreadsheet or stupid scraper and just download blindly.
I think i might change the downloads to prevent such things from happening….or at least make it harder to do by change all the links every week so these people can actually look and think on there own!

@pincadePay as a subscriber!? What are you talking about? This site is 100 free!? Who are you paying? The app is in footer of every page here on Apple or android

@swietlikowa Keep me updated not sure if it will last or if I broke anything else! Server loads are a bit better but not much so should know if it really helped within a few hours

@joey2001 made some changes and temporarily removed many features of site for testing. See if its any better. Site should load much faster if your logged out as there is a 2 hour cache delay for non logged in users.  

@jfr1 me either but put site in maintenance mode last 2 hours and ran database optimizations also disabled a few non important features to see if server loads go down…. time will tell

Disabled “badges” for test to see if they are causing any extra loads on server. just testing some things to see if i can speed up page loads for you guys

Disabled advanced interface for “insert image” icon in editor to stop error on firefox browser for now. should still work but now more like 1990 style :)

add another file should be fixed…or i should say working. used to auto show add another after one file was added but now always shows add another but works now. will get a proper fix later

interesting…. Latest version of chrome? Version 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (x86_64) I am not seeing same issues here. But i do see link to author broken on landing page! that will take a bit to fix but will add to the list. maybe a cache issue try deleting cache for vpinball and see if issues go away

@xantari you using firefox too?

@lynnindenver Understood. I’m looking into Firefox issue but only is problem with that browser. I’ll letcha know if I can fix before maybe Firefox puts out a new update.
