Open backdrop settings and change the “LUT” from 0(dark) to 4(bright)
I changed the LUT setting under Backdrop (tried in steps, up to 4) and it made no difference..?
There are some really dark areas on my 4K HDR PF (which I have calibrated for max contrast).
Any other suggestions?
*IDK if it makes any difference but I am using the folder drop method for 10.7 beta.
Thank you to all involved, it’s a stunning table!

I was playing standalone in VPX (everything working great) but just loaded in PinballX for the first time and the DMD is no longer in Color, anybody have an idea/fix ?
*** Nevermind… I had dual DMD’s (one over the top of the other) while in PinballX. I changed the B2S DMD setting to HIDDEN and it’s fixed.
Thank you

Hello gang. I love this table and noticed the color look a little washed out. I looked in the script for a LUT setting and couldn’t find it. Is there another setting I should look for?
Thanks for sharing your hard work.
Heinz
Look in the Backglass – options in VPX, there are many Metallica LUT options in there.
I used the Extra Contrast LUT on my 4K HDR PF display and wow does it POP, yeah it’s over-the-top but so what, it’s so slick with my 4K HDR BG and the color DMD 180hc rom.
Thank you VPW, yet another Amazing release!

Thank you for the incredible table, the PuP interaction is amazing!
I had the ball lock into the right catch with the four colored lights above it and would not drop no matter what button I hit after selecting the mode (of course this just had to happen on the final ball of my best game so far ). * Figured this one out, use plunger button for Stern key. ;)
The physics feel a wee bit off but then I have never played the real table so take that as you will.
The bass that hit with the right RED “Asleep for the Danger…” was intense, my whole cab felt like it was going to move across the floor (large transducer). LOVED IT !!!
I have issues with the Audio levels, the music is really loud and many of the voices can barely be heard, I’ll look into the suggestions posted and see if I can balance it out.
Thanks again for the amazing work, truly appreciated.

IGNORE…
I got it working by deleting the PuP pack folder even though the folder was already empty.
The BG is static for me, it lights up but no table interaction.
The older BG works and the PuP pack works but the new 2020 HiRes BG doesn’t function as it should, anything I should check?
Thank you, the BG looks great!

Is the BG static (no lighting relative to ball reaction)?
Just wanting to verify if it’s something at my end.
Thank you
Very cool table !!!

I checked for proper Topper position with PinUp and even though it is set correctly for my displays I still do not get the topper video after enabling it in the script.
It’s not a big deal, just wanted to make note of it here since it should be working.

Where does it send the topper video by default?
I have the Topper video activated on my 3 screen vpin and I do not see it anywhere.
Will it still work if my DMD and Topper videos share a screen (or does this setup expect to see a 4 screen vpin with the fourth screen being a dedicated topper display)?
Thank you to all involved, I don’t watch the show but I am enjoying the table.

@Knorr @ClarkKent, after trying this out, it’s even more glorious than in the screenshots. Simply amazing, amazing talent!
On the negative side, this table puts my GTX1070 to it’s knees like nothing else on Vpinball. I’m playing @ 165hz and in certain situations my fps drops as low as 120 and the fluctuating frame rate makes the game seem jerky and not so fun to play. Disabling AA has a small effect, but no where near enough. I also tried to resize some textures to half the size and set some primitives to static rendering, but the performance issues doesn’t seem to be connected that much to GFX and the general structure how the table is built seems quite optimized and efficient. Any ideas how to smooth the performance on this? Could it be something on the script/code side?
So if your are on Windows 10 you must deactivate some virus search thing. Please take a look at the circus Voltaire support thread. There were some similar issues. Please report back.
I play at 4K 120 Hz (3x screen – 4K PF/4K BG/DMD+Topper video) with an RTX 2060 and have no performance issues.
- Win10 Windows Defender disabled
Only thing I had to do was balance volume, main was much lower than table (using SSF).
Thank you very much to all involved, this is an incredible table.

It appears that version .50 was removed and reverted back to .49, guess that means we should not install version .50 (or go back to .49 if .50 was installed).
Also experiencing frequent audio drops now (mainly music as others have mentioned).
Sometimes the table will just sit there after a ball lock or a drain, it appears random.
My vpin is SSF and there are many table sounds that come up on the main L/R speakers (as Scott mentioned things may need some SSF tweaking). Or… maybe those effect placements are intentional, IDK.
I am usually pretty decent on most tables but the ball drains really easy on this one, maybe too easy..? ;)
Having a blast playing it for the last hour or so, just incredible for an original table. :)

I have had version 38 for a bit and that played fine but after updating PUP to the latest version (as stated by Terry) all that loads with this new release is the table itself, it’s as if PUP is not even present.
What should I look at..?
- When loading from Pinball X the VPX screen pops up on PF before it finishes loading the table (it did not do this with the previous release).
Thank you to all involved, can’t wait to play the new release!
Don’t run from a front-end for now. Try running in Borderless Windowed temporarily. You want to be sure you don’t have anything hidden under your playfield or any errors popping up.
Try other pup-packs / STSE to see if they work.
Be sure Defender or your antivirus didn’t eat any files….be sure you unblocked the zip files before updating.
Thanks Terry, got it all sorted and working (long load but no longer shows VPX before PF while using Pinball X 4.12).
This table is brilliant, thanks Scotty and all involved.

I have had version .39 for a bit and that played fine but after updating PUP to the latest version (as stated by Terry) all that loads with this new release is the table itself, it’s as if PUP is not even present.
What should I look at..? NVM, figured this part out (my error) but the below issue is still present…

Thank you to all involved, amazing work!
The only, very minor, thing that I have noticed so far is the ball drain audio/feedback is much lower volume than the rest of the table audio when running SSF. I might notice this more because I have a large transducer mounted at the coin door location (makes for very realistic ball drain, coin drop, plunger feedback versus just hearing them).
Thanks again, really enjoying this table!
