      I use the the Hook (5.01 unofficial MOD) rom from vpuniverse. It works for me.

      Works for me too; maybe because i (we) have both roms in the roms folder 5.00 and 5.01.

        This worked for me … –> https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=46316#entry471849

        “Load table and go top menu “edit” then “select element”

        scroll down to “b2sBHtimer” and set it to 100 or 200

        seems to help some”

        I´ve set it to 100 and table runs smooth now. Problem solved.

          Stutter seems to be related to drop in fps.

          It´s really a strange behavior. When struggling/ fps dropping begins the cpu and gpu load keeps constant the whole time.

          cpu 50% / gpu 23%

          So no problem at this side of componpents. maybe it´s really a table side “timer” problem or something similar :unsure:

            @forte : Yes, I’ve noticed that myself. I tried different video options, vsync etc a couple of days back. Never thought about checking flex as it hasn’t given me any reasons before. I’m a few versions behind on both flex and freezy, and I’m running a pindmd3. So, it might even be a difference there. I’ve planned to check this in more detail over the weekend.

            Same here … frame rate permanently goes down; tried many things (ball reflection from playfield, playfield reflections, without b2s, without flexdmd), but nothing helps.

            Finally i think it´s something with timing / flasher things, checked some timers for very low values. But didn´t solve it yet. Even if you aren´t playing and simpy holding the ball; the frame rate is going down.

            Let´s see …

                b2s works in cabinet / landscape mode only – not in desktop mode (switched via script).

                    One small thing, anyone with SSF tell me if your bumpers aren’t playing a sound effect when hit? The gun shot noise/callout is working but the bumper sound itself isn’t? I’ll have a closer look, but at least in sound manager there are bumper FX there.

                    check out script lines 321 ff

                    and compare those sound calls. you have the choice to rename the files in sound manager to:

                    fx_bumper_1 or to change the bumper sound calls in the script to fx_bumper1 (like they are named as file in sound manager).

                    And 32ass thanks for this nice table … :rose:

                    i am playing with the right outlane size or those rubber values; it makes me angry =)

                    I someone wonders about the “light” oder “too bright” looking playfield. I´ve changed the “playfield material” to this:

                        So i think it depends on your setup. Table hab been downloaded 1385 times; two people reported a script error. No one else reported a problem with a crash; strange …

                          cant start the table ,

                          did a fresch install of 10.6 took the beta cpoied it in the folder.

                          As soon as i start the table it loads a little and than vpx just close down or crushes

                          any ideas ?

                          what about other tables? they shut down too?

                          you´ve checked the rom and scripts (in script folder only) are in place? b2s server updated & registered in table folder? VpinMame up to date?

                            anyone else having immediate ball drains with auto plunger (during multiballs the auto plunger seems so weak, the balls does not make it to the top and then goes to right outlane and drain (many times, but not always, strange))? otherwise great table, i love the flipper physics!

                            Yes – happens to my setup too. So i had to set plungers y position to 1118,073 and it works now.

                              Line 298: sript error

                              It started with this error message for me too.

                              Then I commented on that line in the script (I put a ‘ at the beginning of the line) and it’s been working ever since.

                              I just don’t know what I lost with that, that line doesn’t take into account. But it works!

                              And this error tells what? screenshot?

                              It works fine here. Are you sure all is up to date (VpinMame, scripts)? :-(

                                  here, in this Bounty Hunter SSF script, are some more DOFPulse calls they come together with this vpmTimer.PulseSw calls.

                                  I don´t know if this is the right way ´cause i can´t find any manual or schematics of bounty hunter. but it works.

                                    this works for example (right slingshot):

                                    Sub RightSlingShot_Slingshot
                                    vpmTimer.PulseSw 44
                                    DOF 102, DOFPulse
                                    RandomSoundSlingshotRight slingr
                                    RSling.Visible = 0
                                    RSling1.Visible = 1
                                    slingr.TransZ = -20
                                    RStep = 0
                                    RightSlingShot.TimerEnabled = 1
                                    End Sub

                                    the left slingshot gets

                                    Sub LeftSlingShot_Slingshot
                                    vpmTimer.PulseSw 44
                                    DOF 101, DOFPulse
                                    RandomSoundSlingshotLeft slingl
                                    LSling.Visible = 0
                                    LSling1.Visible = 1
                                    slingl.TransZ = -20
                                    LStep = 0
                                    LeftSlingShot.TimerEnabled = 1

                                    and the same for bumpers:

                                    bumper 1 will get: “DOF 103, DOFPulse” after vpmTimer.PulseSw 43 (it´s the scoring switch only i think).

                                    bumper 2 will get: “DOF 104, DOFPulse” after vpmTimer.PulseSw 43

                                    and it works for now.

                                      i think it´s DOF related. my bumpers / slings didn´t work too. Maybe arngrim may have a little look for it in dof-config tool.

                                      btw. i´m not sure about those solenoid calls i´ve found in a manual. slingsshots left / right are both using the same call. strange; same to the bumpers.

                                      let´s see …

                                      but this table is famous … thanks for this beauty @bord and all involved.

                                            Wow great table, did we work out how to up the music volume e.g. attenuation without songs cutting out?

                                            It´s possible for now with the 1.80 rom. Not sure this settings were avaiable in the 1.70 rom. It works perfect for me; take a look into the rom settings -> feature adjustments part 138 and 139. It´s set to “0” or “1” per default. i set this to -30 for music and -35 for speach (- minus is louder than positive settings).
