        This table looks totally amazing. Definitely will need to get the new/beta vpx like Thalamus suggested and try this bad boy out!!

              Very nice looking and playing table. Well done and TY!!

               

              One issue I encountered is from time to time, when pulling back the plunger, the ball hops over the top of it and rolls to the apron and vanishes (can still hear it rolling) but ball search didn’t seem to find it. Exited/reloaded the table, started a new game, pulled the plunger back and the ball dropped maybe into the plunger hole. Exited/reloaded the table, next two games were ok.

                Probably a dumb question, but will installing flex dmd mess up my ultra dmd? From what I see in major Frenchys youtube tutorial, it appears you register flex dmd as ultra dmd, so the transition should be smooth? I’ll also do some youtubing today to find out more info and all that good stuff ;)

                Like you, I was an early fan of pokemon and this table seems to really do that era justice. Definitely gonna put some time into this table :) Gotta catch ’em all :)

                  Cool table, thanks for your work!

                  The dmd is showing on the “apron” and not on my dmd below the back glass. Is there something in the script i should be changing? Downloaded the normal version (don’t have flex dmd).

                      I didn’t notice it listed anywhere, but is there a rule sheet or something. I understand the multi ball lock, hit red targets/arrows for missions. Not 100% sure about winning extra balls and other maybe not so spelled out rules ;)

                      I see the rule card (hit ramp 6 times to lite extra ball) but what other opportunities are there for extra balls? When the ball is knocking around the bumpers I have gotten extra ball is lit. Not sure if it happens after so many bumper hits or if I happened to complete princess #3 or 4 and just happened to be up in the bumpers when the extra ball lit.

                            Great looking table and quite fun. I’m starting to get a feel for it.

                            One bug I noticed. When multiball starts, the ball behind the drop targets doesn’t get released (targets seemed to drop really quickly at the multi ball start but instantly raised back up trapping the 3rd ball). When my other 2 balls drained, the 3rd was still stuck behind the drop targets. waited a bit but no ball search so just exited the table.

                              in order to change the setting @drady you need to open the table in vpx. then exit it (press q two times) but leave the vpx table editor open. go to edit, then select element. scroll down until you see plastic3 and confirm it is layer 4. click it then press select. close that window. now in the vpx editor click view — options. you should see name plastic3. near the bottom, is something that says physics and you can click the arrow to expand the menu. uncheck toy. that’s all if i’m not mistaken. you can’t close this window by hitting x, so go back to the editor, view — click options and it will vanish. exit the editor and save changes.

                               

                              if this is not right, please delete this post mods. tonight was the first time messing w/ the editor to figure this out. seemed to have worked and nothing broke so hopefully it helps those who are unfamiliar w/ the program ;)

                                If the ball gets lost behind the green goblin after bouncing over the targets on the left the playfield;

                                Go to layer 4 and set Plastic3 to collidable (untick “Toy” under physics), we’ll put out a fix but I think that should sort it out.

                                I had it happen 3 out of 3 games. Messed around and made those changes and seems to have fixed it for me also :) TY <3

                                    I liked your original and think I like the new layout even more. First version, didn’t really have issues losing the ball. In the new version, I played 4 games, game 1, 2, 4, I lost balls. They shot over a wall and the first ended up on the left hand side getting stuck in a wedge near the upper left flipper. Restarted game. Next game, ball somehow made it over a wall by the wonka vision and got stuck in the upper right side. Third game played fine. Fourth game, a ball flew over the top of the flippers/past the apron and vanished.

                                      When I push start, I get a single video:

                                      If I use the existing ROM, I hear songs as I typically do. If I use this new ROM, I hear game sounds but NO music. I have Freezys 1.8 and build r5240.

                                      Incomplete download possible — take a look at previous posts where I showed what a complete puppack folder looks like.

                                      Similar thing happens to me. Folder looks the same as what the screenshot shows it should be (I will double check later but think i have an extra folder called pupoptions and if I do will delete later and try it). Basically for me, I can start the game. Videos work great, BUT I get that acdc screen like you showed when I hit the fire button (think it’s tied to magna save). Videos play/load/run great, the minute I hit the fire button, I get the acdc screen. If I hit the fire button even in the intro video, it gets killed and acdc screen shows. Like I said, for me, if I don’t hit the fire button at all in game (no cannon shooting) all videos etc run great!

                                        I don’t remember the actual table, but that ramp is tough. I can hit it enough, get the super skill shots etc. It isn’t 100% though. Have to hit your shot dead on, especially if you want it to completely go around to collect the jewel. Beat the game a few times despite the challenge of that ramp.
