Doesn’t sound right to me that you don’t feel the exciters. I recommend that you disable all sound devices that you don’t use. EQapo is just a good sent program, and it seems that the newest PinVol relies on it too. But, I have for a long time been able to hear and feel the exciters. That is also something you should be able to. If you just add…[Read more]

Read the thread. I don’t think you have to be content with the released version or have a friend ship it to you.

Don’t know how to respond to this to be honest, except feeling sad and angry at the same time I guess.

Cool. Well, see if others respond saying that resolves it or not before the update :) And, again, great table.

Been trying a few different things. Pretty sure I exited, not saving in between and I just had a game where I could not provoke stutter with the flexdmd enabled. All I did was to increase b2sBHtimer to 55 from 5. For the newcomers, that would be, cntr+shift+e – scroll down in the list to that name – select and make sure options are enabled on the…[Read more]

It might very well be. I’m now a bit confused to the problem. I was recently given a “unnamed” table by JPS, it uses FlexDMD in a very similar way. I was NOT able to get that to drop in fps at all.
“unnamed” because it will be released, after 10.7 is done, just don’t want to spoil the surprise.

I’m now updated to the very latest of FlexDMD and Freezy. Did not solve the issue. Mind you, only tested this, no searching for culprits on the table. I doubt that it is table related now though. I could reproduce the issue with the old combination of drivers. Turning flexdmd off and it is stable for a whole game. Turning it on, it begins not very…[Read more]

@forte : Yes, I’ve noticed that myself. I tried different video options, vsync etc a couple of days back. Never thought about checking flex as it hasn’t given me any reasons before. I’m a few versions behind on both flex and freezy, and I’m running a pindmd3. So, it might even be a difference there. I’ve planned to check this in more detail over…[Read more]

Did these suggestions you mention ever get implemented ? Same date of post and table, so, I just wonder. If not, only script changes maybe ?

Rom for MJ was included, among other improvements. You can always lookup these things yourself. https://github.com/vpinball/pinmame/commits/master
As you see, by the dates – pinmame is constantly being worked on. That is also why it is called beta, they might break something too.

Oh boy. Just did a quick test, not expecting much. I was very wrong. I’m looking forward to this afternoon playing it on my cab. First impressions is that you tick many of my preferences for a good playing machine. Long shots, drop targets that pop up. Lighting is very nice. I love the Mandalorian tv series. All in all, I would be very surprised…[Read more]

@gramps : You seem to do everything correctly, except getting the latest 3.3. If you run setup/test and down see the rom in the list, that simply means you are behind on pinmame. Having 3.3 doesn’t mean you have the latest 3.3

Thalamus replied to the topic VP 10.7 Beta in the forum Downloads Support Topics 3 years ago
Yes. It is a known problem. I’m not sure where the problem lies. Believe I read that Fuzzel has re-installed his dev env and the code is also now supposed to be tested and built automatically via github. So, I’m not that surprised. My guess, might be a few releases before they iron out the bugs.

Yeah. Well. I think that this thread contains many good advises. Tempted to put a link to it in the wiki to make it easy to find. I think, by your answer @shamous – you just have to decide what fits you best. You clearly understand the differences. It is nothing wrong in creating clones and diffs too.
