Thanks for the suggestions I’ll take a look at them this evening. I may have to get some help on the volume question. Graphics update will obviously be easier :-).
Best Regards,

Yeah, you are right. I think @randr may have done something when he posted the more reasonably sized version. When I look at my uploads it shows Firepower2v1.1.zip
I’ve included it here so you don’t have to wait for it to get fixed.
Thanks,

@Thalamus – I think I fixed that in v1.1. I noticed it didn’t seem to work right. There was a primitive with collidible turned on that shouldn’t have been and the Z scale was messed up. I didn’t think this could affect the ball but it apprently does. Please let me know if the v1.1 update doesn’t fix it for you.
Thanks!

Ok…I’ve really been struggling for no reason with this. I see what you mean about gray scale and additive blend… fade it in and out with the script and it just works :). Use the gray sale to “feather” the edges (so to speak) and, voila, you have a “lamp” on a vertical wall.
Thanks for pointing me in this direction

You know I don’t think I’ve ever used a Flasher object. Maybe I should try it before I ask silly questions

I guess I’ll have to do some experimenting. Not being a true “graphics” guy, I’m not certain what you mean by additive mixing. I know that is an option when I apply effects and such in PS or AI but I’ve never truely known what that means.
Thanks for contributing to this topic. Hopefully I will be able to as well…eventually

v1.1 takes care of the flipper length. I always forget about setting the physical height of walls like you mentioned. Thanks for catching that. I’ll add it to 1.1 before I repost it.
thanks again,

Had a little issue with the update this AM. Text and version descriptions updated but the file didn’t quite make it. I’ll have to fix it this afternoon. The current download link does not have the v1.1 update.
Sorry for the confusion.

@jesperpark thanks for answering the DMD question. I run this table with b2s and never thought that others might need the DMD

I’m working on fixes in v1.4 (hence the delay in posting). I should have it uploaded tomorrow sometime.
Thanks!

@clark kent
I lost track of what updates were in what version a few version back. It was moving way too fast but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Thanks for making the updates. I’ll repost as v1.4.

Sorry I’ve been out again for a few days. Please send your update to me. I’ll post it as v1.3.
I’ll get it posted as soon as I get the update from HF.
Sorry for the delay.

I just posted the update from 32assassin so it will download from the main download link. Sorry it took me a while but I suppose late is better than never :-).
Enjoy!

Sorry to over message you here…but I keep getting a script error after playing for a while Line 843 Subscript out of range…it looks like its in the rolling ball code…I’ll try to fix it but you probably can do it much faster than me.
Thanks,

I forgot one thing in v0.9.7. I made a new primitive for the yellow conicalish bumper near the top jets. I have included here in case you want to add it in your next rev. Otherwise I’ll do it when you repost.
Thanks!

I’m having a hard time keeping up  . I like the idea of using wall for the plastics but have had trouble getting the images to look right. I guess I just need to take the time to figure it out.
Thanks for pitching in on this!

@32assassin – wow that’s a lot of work. I’m learning a lot from your re-work. I have a question regarding Depth Bias. I’ve noticed that I can’t see a portion of one of the plastics under the right ramp (left side of table). I’ve experimented with different depth biases like you suggested but can’t seem to make it visible. Do you have any ideas about what I may be doing wrong.
Thanks in advance,

@Nemo – That’s probably something I did and not Dark’s ramp. I’ll take a look at it this evening.
