      Hi strikekat,

Many thanks for looking at this. I have been so busy restoring real pins that most of my VP has come to a halt. However I will check out the tool this weekend. Thanks again. :)

Well I just realized how freaking expensive scanners are. I was hoping that they would be along the lines of 3D printers. Nope!

The only way I could effectively scan all of these objects would be to have a real scanner that “just works”. I wont have the time to iron the kinks out of trying photogrammetry and things like that. Just too many pins to turn around in additional to my real job.

If anyone can point me to the best bang-for-the-buck scanner I would be happy to take a look at it.

Not terribly familiar with table making itself, but if the logic/batch script for doing this work is fairly simple, it could probably be converted to a quick .net app in short order.

I know absolutely nothing about this stuff. Do you wanna try?

Yes I should have mentioned that. You have to establish the initial physics materials, and link the objects first for each table.  For example, I have a set of 13 physics-related materials added and connected to objects in 300 tables on the cab. That does take a painfully long time to do. But when I want to change those physics materials, its now automatic and rocket fast since the tool overwrites the existing materials.

Just now getting around to downloading AP. Wow what a really nice table! Many thanks all involved for freshening up this table.

The whole thing plays very very well and gives a very good long game. I just played it the first time and scored 560 million. Not sure if thats a big score or not. Also wow this table does not disappoint when it comes to multiballs.

BTW I just burned up my left flipper DOF Ford solenoid. :) But no worries, I have many spares.

Keep up the awesome work team. :good:

                      Many thanks Chokeee.

I just fixed the problematic sounds and did a new upload of the table. The rev remains 1.0 with no other changes.

the 1.0 version is amazing. It feels exactly like my F-14 down to being able to hit the same shots with incredibly similar timing. Excellent work. Now to figure out how to print out that nimitz backdrop for my real machine and find some diecast F-14’s to mount on the playfield :)

Did you see where I now have my own real F14?

Agreed it really plays accurate. Nearly every nuance shot or trick is accounted for in the VP table. Thanks again for your resources early on. :)

BTW here is the image I used for the back wall. Please let me know if you procedd with making one of these. I might want to put one on too.

Currently working on the next rev for F14. I have revised the up-kicker trigger to hopefully avoid bad kicks, and fixed a few other bugs. Also some additional fixes for the VR room. SHould be a few more fancy “bells and whistles”.

Just revised the flipper angles, lengths and transitions from the guides to the bats. Now dead nuts perfect to my real F14.
