Wow that is looking good. What’s awesome for myself is my virtual pin is a clone of an STNG cabinet so this will go hand in hand with it. I can’t wait to see it in VPX glory.

I have been playing a STNG table at a place near me recently, so I’m excited to have this one at home in VPX. Knorr’s tables always seem to push VPX to the limit in a really good way. Really looking forward to it.

So much progress all at once, you could have fed us some of these earlier maybe, or was the point to keep us in suspense!?…haha. Looking great as always. :)

Well, you know…. its easy to show some fancy renders, but showing the result in vp is another story. In your projects you also show the vp renders, well in my case the way is long to get there so i try be as close to vp in the render engine as possible. In the last pics everything is “vp ready” (except for the plastic and wire ramps), Most of the materials have no reflection and i only used lite shadows (which i also will bake into the playfield). In the render settings i only use a strong anti aliasing, no ambiet occlusion etc… And texturing is almost the last step before i start to export everything to vp :). For me (and of course for everyone else here) this is the best way to get a good “feeling” of how the table can look in vp. (i also try to imitate the CameraView/LightSource/Enviroment from vp to get a similar shading)

Wow, Knorr. Looks just super. Road show and Dirty Harry are two of my absolute faves. The kids and I have played them for hours on our cab. Really excited for this one. Thank you!

It’s fantastic to see your amazing work process. You table looks perfect and according the already released tables I’m sure that this table will be also a perfect table if it will be finished. STTNG is one of my almost favorits pinball’s :)

I also watch for updates on this one. Looks like it will be well worth the wait … not that I ever had any doubt about that. Absolutely an incredible job Knorr!

This looks amazing, I really thought I was looking at a real machine in that video… except the real machine doesn’t look that good!

The work involved in this table is amazing. This will be the best recreation of this table available anywhere. May Q work his magic and make this table suddenly appear on vpinball.com!

Thank you knorr for this amazing build. I had this real pin in my collection for years but traded it long ago and is great to have it in vpx!

I am very impressed with the video.. very nice lighting K…

question, where is the second reflexion coming from? you have your DMD, then the reflexion from your glass top, but then a second one? never mind ..I get it now the monitor is also reflecting the DMD.. duh!

Excellent table indeed! can feel lots of love went into this. I dont know about a unity version , there were some guys doing FP to unity tables a while back using Unity 4 ( which is very outdated ) but they did not continue to release tables and I cant remember a star trek having been done. Anyway i dont know what my next table will be hehe. Im loving some of the newer VP tables out there now. Monsterbash and indiana jones are my favourites.

I do them outside of cinema after I created a usable UV map. Most of the time in Photoshop. When you use Tiff/psd files your can make new layers in the UV window in c4d and render shadows to them. So it’s more a switching between different programs.
