GNR - Guns N' Roses (Data East 1994) Alternate Video Backglass + Wheel and Topper Images Kit
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SAY 'THANKS' THE FIRST POST IN THE SUPPORT TOPIC BY CLICKING ON THE 'THANKS' BUTTON. THIS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED! The original tables backglass was a single fluorescent light that just illuminated the backglass translite. What I wanted to do with this VIDEO backglass was not possible with a b2s file (very fast flickering and flashing) without either a huge file size or the risk of slowing down the tables gameplay. That's why I opted to make a 1920x1080 HD VIDEO version that continuously loops, instead. I happened to come across an alternate backglass translite image - that I was able to recreate (and in my opinion, improve upon) with a collection images from the internet and some original elements drawn from scratch. Topper Images and Wheel Images are included as well. INCLUDED FILES: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - GNR (Data East 1994) Alternate-Backglass-Video.mp4 GNR (Data East 1994) Alternate-Wheel.png GNR-Topper 1 - 1280x390.png GNR-Topper 1 - 1280x540.png GNR-Topper 1 - 1280x720.png GNR-Topper 2 - 1280x390.png GNR-Topper 2 - 1280x540.png GNR-Topper 2 - 1280x720.png HOW TO USE VIA PINBALLX : - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1.) Make sure you name / rename the VPX table a completely different name than any other version of the table you may have. So instead of naming the table Guns N Roses (Data East 1994).vpx - name the table GNR (Data East 1994).vpx. This will prevent VPX from trying to "match" the b2s file to the table when it loads. You should NOT rename any Guns N' Roses b2s to that file name. It should load without any backglass present because there is no backglass named that special name. 2.) Load PinballX's game manager and select "Add New" table. Use the manager to add the GNR (Data East 1994) table as the table name. You can set the Description to whatever you want ... Using the pulldown menu, and select Backglass - and load the backglass .MP4 file. Load the other stuff if you want at this time, i.e.: Wheel Image, Topper, etc. 3.) IMPORTANT: Directly under the Table name and Description for this table in PinballX, there is a row of check boxes. Make sure "Hide Backglass" is UNCHECKED. This will keep the backglass video running when load the table through PinballX and keep it on the screen looping while you are playing the table. 4.) Load PinballX, scroll through to this particular table, and go ahead and load it ... and go PLAY pinball! That's it! Similar styled front ends can use "basically" the same process. - - - - - - - - - This project took considerable time ... so "thanks" or comments in the support topic would be greatly appreciated. Pirates of the Caribbean (Stern 2006) Alternate Backglass Video + Topper and Wheel Images Kit
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SAY 'THANKS' THE FIRST POST IN THE SUPPORT TOPIC BY CLICKING ON THE 'THANKS' BUTTON. THIS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED! This special VIDEO backglass was made specifically for Siggi's new Pirates of the Caribbean VPX table mod. He (Siggi) did an amazing job on this graphics mod (a serious improvement over the original) and I decided to do something special for him and fellow cab owners. Table can be found here: https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/pirates-of-the-caribbean-siggis-mod/ The original tables backglass was a single fluorescent light that just illuminated the backglass translite. What I wanted to do with this VIDEO backglass was not possible with a b2s file (rain and lightning) without either a huge file size or the risk of slowing down the tables gameplay. That's why I opted to make a 1920x1080 HD VIDEO version that continuously loops, instead. I used an iconic image / scene that was recreated from the original Disneyland ride and was also used for the advanced movie poster for the 1st movie. Topper Images, Wheels, and Table Audio is included as well. Table Audio is a thunderstorm and rain audio track and does not include any copyrighted music. AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) - Nude Mod Kit
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SAY 'THANKS' THE FIRST POST IN THE SUPPORT TOPIC BY CLICKING ON THE 'THANKS' BUTTON. THIS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED! WARNING: CONTAINS TOPLESS PG-13 NUDITY - IF THIS OFFENDS YOU - DO NOT DOWNLOAD! - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Originally, I was not going to post this download publicly because I didn't want to offend anyone, BUT, this is a unique circumstance. Unbeknownst to me - there was already a 'BUILT-IN' nude mod with the existing AC-DC Luci VPX table?!?!?! If you look in the script towards the top - the original authors have an option to turn on / off the built in nude mod for the table. It's easy to spot in the script - but I never saw it. Duh! I've had the 1.5 version of this table for YEARS and had no idea it was already there in the table options. So, since it was already built in - whether you knew it or not - I decided to make some additions / enhancements to the existing mod ... so in my book ... it will be ok to upload this. First - the existing instructions cards were a little low rez - so I redraw them to have cleaner "Luci" images. These are the only "upgrades" for the actual table - and all credit goes to the original table authors. All I did was clean up the images. The original 'Luci' Nude Mod for this table was done by: Calium. Included in this kit are 2 new redrawn instructions cards, ACDC-Luci-Card.png and ACDC-Luci-Card-XXX.png. Load the table, go to the image manager and look for both those images in the list. Select one of them and then select "Re-import from" on the left and choose the corresponding file I've included. It will replace the image with the newer clean image. Then do the same with the other one. Despite the 'XXX' naming - the images are actually PG-13 topless only. Remember to SAVE the table file after you make these changes. This is the only "graphic" mod I made and it is simply an upgrade and isn't absolutely necessary. The other nude mod images that are already included with the existing table are good quality already and didn't need any touchups / cleanup. I was never a fan of the original Luci Premium backglass image and I didn't want to make a basic b2s with some lights or a still image. The original backglass for the pinball was a simple translite with a single fluorescent bulb and wasn't very interesting, so I decided to make several looping MP4 video versions to run in the backglass place / screen. In order to use any one of the backglass videos, the process is quite simple. I have 2 version of the table in my 'Tables' folder. 1.) The original "Luci" table with matching backglass file, and 2.) A duplicate of the table with Nude Mod turned on and named: "AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) - Nude Mod.vpx". For this version, I have NO BACKGLASS file with that name or anything close - therefore the table will load WITHOUT a backglass. In PinballX, using the Game Manager, I've loaded my favorite backglass video so it is in my "PinballX/Media/VPX/Backglass Videos" folder" and have it the same name as the table. Please note: Your 'path' to your media / backglass videos might be different than the one I listed here. In PinballX 'Game Manager' make sure you have 'Hide Backglass' UNCHECKED. That way when you load the table through PinballX - when PinballX goes to load the table, it will keep the backglass video running the whole time as if it was the actual backglass. Everything else should play exactly as it should with the table, but now you have a cool VIDEO backglass running instead. I've used this process / technique for several other DMD tables where the backglass is generally static and it works very well. Also included are 3 matching style 'TOPPER VIDEOS' that you can use as toppers or Virtual DMDs if using an LCD for your DMD. I only made the DMDs in 1280x390px because this was a special case and I was only intending to use these on my own system that only uses 1280x390px videos for the toppers. PinballX now allows you to use animated GIF wheels / images - so for the wheels, I created a static one, and then a Mega Docklet Animated GIF style to match all the artwork, backglass and toppers. FILES INCLUDED: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ACDC-Luci-Card.png ACDC-Luci-Card-XXX.png AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Backglass 1.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Backglass 2.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Backglass 3.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Backglass 4.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Topper 1.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Topper 2.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Topper 3.mp4 AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Wheel Animated.gif AC-DC Luci (Stern 2012) Nude Mod - Wheel.png - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As I mentioned before, this mod is 'topless' nudity only and is in no way intended to offend anyone. I am 99.9% sure that if Stern could have released this table with this nude mod without incident, they probably would have as the artwork was already pretty sexy already. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This project took considerable time ... so "thanks" or comments in the support topic would be greatly appreciated. Munsters, The (Stern 2019-2020) Backglass+RealColorDMD Videos
Munsters, The (Stern 2019-2020) Backglass+RealColorDMD Videos PLEASE REMEMBER TO 'THANK' AND 'LIKE' THE FIRST POST IN THE SUPPORT TOPIC. With the release of the new significantly improved Munsters VPX table, I created some stuff to spruce up my front end and the screens during gameplay. This download includes 2 new wheels - with different style Stern Logos, a simple backglass 1920x1080 .mp4 video that swaps between the standard and premium backglass images every 15 seconds - to be used in your front end, and several RealColorDMD videos 128x32 for Real DMD users (in .avi, .mp4, and animated .gif format). Because the actual Stern table was made in 2019 - I added the 2019 date to DMD videos, and also made a 2020 version and one without the release date at all. Use whichever one you prefer. I use a PinDMD3 / Pin3DMD and to my knowledge the table does not use the my DMD (or at least I can't get the Pup-Pack to work with it as of now - so I made the RealColorDMD video files to "fill the empty screen" during gameplay so the screen is not 'blank' the whole time. If you look at my other downloads on this site, I have previously made several toppers specifically made for this table that even if you don't have a topper screen - you can use as a DMD placeholder if using an LCD screen for your DMD. These files are NOT restricted to just PinballX (or equivalent) - you can use them with the Pinup System as well including replacing the existing "Stern" topper video that is included with the Pup-Pack. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This project took considerable time ... so "thanks" or comments in the support topic would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE NOTE: I create these videos for fun and for the dedicated VPX pinball users on this and other forum. I DID NOT create this for you to download as SELL, MAKE MONEY OR PROFIT ON ... Star Wars Back Glass, Wheel Image & Underlay
For those like me who have a Star Wars playlist in their PinUp Menu, this includes: Back Glass (I made this, but I gotta say, I love seeing it... every time. Especially with the music.) Wheel Image Wheel Underlay For the music I just cut the first couple of minutes off of the Empire Finale. Started where the horns come in playing the main theme and kept from there on. I tried to post it here but apparently mp3's aren't allowed. May The Force be with John Williams! Always! Enjoy! Read More -
