Sharpshooter II (Gameplan 1983)
I started this table because I found an image on the internet of great quality, although the playfield was deteriorated, I tried to rebuild it as best I could with all my limitations (I'm not a designer, although I really like that job) that took me almost a month, the plastics They are the ones that Kiwi gave to dboyrecords for the VP9 version of dboyrecords, since thank you very much to both of you, I found only two better plastics that use them and I was able to recreate the spinner that I found for sale on ebay, although the image was by the half, I recreated it as I thought it should be, since there are no images of it Thanks to all those who worked previously at this table, Destruk, TAB, Eala Dubh Sidhe, Aussie34, Many data helped me to understand how the lights worked and others since there is not much documentation of this table. Thanks to Stephan (STAT) for his media packageThanks to Wildman for his Great B2S A special thanks to Inkochnito, who wrote the dip switches on the VP8 table and that he also uses in this version. Thanks also to the great developers like JP, Assassins32, Ninuzzu, DjRobX, Rothbauerw, Flupper, Hauntfreaks, etc. I hope no one is offended and I do not forget anyone, but I use many resources of all of them, I also enjoy the great tables they make, this is just my humble contribution I hope you enjoy it. Tag-Team
Gottlieb's Tag-Team. I recently stumbled across an old thread, where creators were testing out tables in the infancy of vpx. In that thread was a Tag-Team table, and I fired it up and to my surprise the table plays fine! I did make some minor tweaks to try and match videos I watched on this very addictive table. I was a big fan of the vp9 tables, but it never "felt" right and I was constantly tweaking it. I can say, this version plays great and just feels nice. I went through this table and cleaned it up to the best of my photoshopping abilities, so while not perfect, it looks much better than it previously did. I have played through the game and can confirm multi ball works, and looks awesome when activated. However; one minor "bug" I can't figure out and I have a sneaking suspicion it lies somewhere in the dip switches, when you hit the extra ball feature, the shoot again light will not activate as supposed to. I reached out to the original creator of this table, hmueck, and he confirmed the light does in fact work, but thats as far as we got. I searched for a dip switch guide but came up empty handed. So maybe someone can figure out this mystery. As I stated above, big thanks to the original creator hmueck who gave me the permission to edit and release this table. Also, from reading through the old thread it looks like arngrim provided a dof script of some kind. Also used Jp's environment and lighting from his Nitro Ground Shaker table Read More -

The Table With The Least Comprehensible Theme Ever
Yes, that's the name. "The Table With The Least Comprehensible Theme Ever". There has been much discussion about Dialed In being a bad theme for a table. My thought process was along the lines of "Bad theme? I'll show you a bad theme!" This is a VPX remaster of a nine year old table originally made for Visual Pinball tech beta 6, based on in-jokes among some people who used to chat on IRC at that time. Rules: Shoot white lights for modes. Shoot yellow lights for fic awards. Shoot green lights for multiball. I am allowing open modding of this table. I do not have the hardware to test adding cabinet support. The table should be angle independent and work in full screen mode. Some sounds and graphics were reused from JPSalas's Ghostbusters: Slimer table with his permission. Read More -
Shovel Knight
This is a VPX original table based on Shovel Knight, the retro-styled platform game released in 2014 by Yacht Club Games. If you experience lag when switching between music tracks, press the ADD CREDIT button during attact mode. The left and right magnasave buttons will activate the lower flippers only, allowing stage flipping. Rules LEVELS: While not fighting a boss, hit any shot to progress through levels. When a level is completed, hit the BLUE shot at the right saucer to start a boss battle. BOSSES: During boss battles, hit BLUE shots and flashing targets. SHOVEL KNIGHT MULTIBALL: Complete the GREEN S-H-O-V-E-L and K-N-I-G-H-T targets to light lock at the GREEN shots at the left and center ramp. After two balls have been locked, shoot the GREEN shot at the right saucer to start Shovel Knight Multiball. JACKPOTS: During Shovel Knight multiball, hit the AMBER, ORANGE, and RED shots for jackpot, and complete the S-H-O-V-E-L K-N-I-G-H-T targets to light a super jackpot at the PURPLE hole on the upper playfield. WANDERER MULTIBALL: Hit bumpers and spinner to light wanderer multiball at the TURQUOISE shot. During wanderer multiball, hit TURQUOISE shots to light a jackpot at the VUK. MULTIPLIERS: Complete the WHITE lights at the bottom lanes to enable a 2X multiplier for 60 seconds at the next shot you make. MYSTERY: Complete the three RED targets above the right saucer to light a mystery award at the center lane (PINK shot). BONUS X: Complete the drop targets to increase the bonus multiplier. COMBOS: Hit consecutive YELLOW shots to increase the combo value. Collect the combo value at the ORANGE shot. About modifications I am allowing open mods of this table. I do not have access to a cabinet to test on, so please make any modifications you feel would improve play on a cabinet. My artistic skills are not on par with my coding skills, and the lighting, apron, and plastics in particular could use the hand of someone better than me at making things look good. Acknowledgements Special thanks to VPForum members sliderpoint for showing how to make a ramp like the right ramp, and cyberpez for the VUK, and JPSalas for several primitives, graphics, and sounds. Gradius
IMPORTANT NOTE Make sure you have a key bound for right MagnaSave. Using the right MagnaSave button activates a power-up on this table, and building and using power-ups is a core element of this table's game play. Requirements Visual Pinball 10.4. About the table My second VPX original is based on the 1985 space shooter Gradius. This is intended to be a table styled on the late-80s alphanumeric display era of pinball, with short ball times, nudging required, and lasers that go "pew!" Cabinet support I am allowing open modding of this table. I do not have the hardware to test adding cabinet support. The table should be angle independent and work in full screen mode. Rules POWER-UPS: Hit shots with lit capsules to light power-ups. Hit the turquoise center targets to light additional capsules. Use the right MagnaSave button to activate the currently lit power-up. LETTER power-up: Spot a letter in O-P-T-I-O-N. MISSILE power-up: Advance an enemy at a random shot. BUMPERS power-up: Score 100 points per bumper for 25 hits. SPINNER power-up: Score 100 points per spin for 25 spins. OPTION power-up: Light a lock for multiball. BARRIER power-up: Raise drop targets by the outlanes. MYSTERY: Complete the green lights at the bottom lanes to light a mystery award at the center saucer. MULTIBALL: Hit O-P-T-I-O-N targets or use the OPTION power-up to light lock at the ramps. Lock can be lit up to three times. Locking a ball when no more locks are lit will activate multiball. JACKPOT: During multiball, hit each of the ramps once to light jackpot at the side loop. ENEMIES: Complete all three blue lights at a shot to defeat enemies and start a hurry-up. Start a hurry-up while another hurry-up is running for bigger points. BIG CORE: Hit the drop target below the upper flipper to expose and defeat Big Core. BOSS BATTLE: Activate each power-up once, score a jackpot, destroy all enemies, and defeat Big Core to light a boss battle at the center saucer. ARCADE WIZARD: ??? Hints There are two extra balls available: One from defeating Big Core (yellow targets) for the second time, and one from the mystery award. The fifth mystery award is guaranteed to be an extra ball. The are two five way combos on the table. Make one of them and something good will happen! left ramp > right ramp > left loop > side loop > center saucer right ramp > left ramp > center lane > side loop > center saucer Read More -
Dragon (Gottlieb 1978)
This is the solid state version of Dragon, Gottlieb also made this an EM version. When JP recently released his Charlie's Angels table I updated my spreadsheet of Gottlieb system 1 tables (yes I have a spreadsheet) and realized there was only one left that had not been done in VPX, the 1978 Dragon. I decided it was time to make it. Looked high and low for good resources, and ended up settling for ok resources, table image from vpf, backglass image from ipdb. Both of them I did some doctoring to and then my buddy hauntfreaks did more. but still can only do so much with so-so starts, so this is decidedly NOT a "4k" build. I did find some decent plastics images, not great but decent, so those helped. One thing I did do new for this table is an improved vari-target primitive and animation. All the ones I'd seen in the past have been just a slide back of an object that is just above the playfield level (transx for those in the know). what I did is took that primitive and extended it below the table to an approximate distance to where the real one has a pivot point. I then redid the scripting for it so the vari-target actually rotates around that pivot point like the real one (rotx). Big thanks to hauntfreaks for cleaning up and color fixing images for the playfield and the included db2s. Also big thanks to the ever busy bord for doing his fancy gi shadow treatment, much more detail then what I usually do. Thanks guys! Read More -
Time Tunnel (Bally 1971)
A rare 1971 game as production was halted due to copyright concerns. This was later revised and released in 1972 as Space Time/Time Zone. Space Time is the better game with a center post and 4 bumpers, but Time Tunnel is a fun peek into Space Time's origins and the artwork is awesome. Built on the Space Time script by @rothbauerw Thanks to @loserman76 for the nudge to get this done. Download includes the B2S. Read More -

Night of the Living Dead '68 (Original 2018) Mod
- - - - - - - - - - - - V. 1.2 - UPDATES - - - - - - - - - - - - Night of the Living Dead '68 (Original 2018) Mod Version 1.2 I wanted to do an overhaul / update to my original Night of the Living Dead VPX table and ended up making a complete update package for EVERYTHING you would need to enjoy this table no matter which version (normal or grunge) you choose. Not only did I make several table updates, I also created 2 new animated b2s backglass in 16x9 format, featuring new art and features, updated wheels, Topper videos, DMD videos for both RealDMDs and LCD DMDs. Because I have both the normal and the grunge versions of the table loaded into my cabinet - I wanted to make a grunge backglass different than the original version so the 2 tables look completely different in appearance. But you can use whichever version best suits your setup. PLEASE NOTE: These new backglass will only work with this new version of the NOTLD table because the table script has some changes that allow the new backglass to function. These backglass WILL NOT work with any other version or mod of this table. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SAY 'THANKS' THE FIRST POST IN THE SUPPORT TOPIC BY CLICKING ON THE 'THANKS' BUTTON. THIS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED! TABLE UPDATES: - - - - - - - - - Includes JP Salas' LUT Mod (used with permission) allowing you to change the lighting / brightness of the table DURING gameplay. Hold down the LEFT MAGNASAVE and the press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE to change / cycle through the 8 LUT lighting options. Your selection will be automatically saved when you exit the table. - Added / Fixed scripting to incorporate new scoring option of 100,000 rollover. OTHER UPDATES: - - - - - - - - - 2 New B2S backglass - Multiple color 'Gottlieb' Topper videos - LCD DMD videos - RealDMD and RealColorDMD videos in both color and Black & White (NOTLD-68-RealColorDMD-128x32-Smooth = smoother moon movement) - 4 Updated New Wheel Images for your front end - Normal and Grunge. NOTE: Please put the contents of the downloaded 'Music' folder into the Music folder of you VPX folder. Link to Backglass files: https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/night-of-the-living-dead-68-original-2018-b2s-backglass/ - - - - - - - - - - - - V. 1.0 - - - - - - - - - - - - Night of the Living Dead '68 (Original 2018) Mod Version 1.0 by HiRez00 and Xenonph This is my first official mod / table release, and I wanted to do something unique and special with it. This was a labor of love pinball table created as a dedication to the late, great filmmaker George A. Romero, who single-handedly created and stamped the "zombie" genre with his original classic "Night of the Living Dead" in 1968. This film set the benchmark and tone for all "zombie" movies and TV shows that followed. Had he not made this great film that terrified millions of people, the zombie trend that is now upon us would have never existed, ever. How many filmmakers created a genre that has been imitated, copied and downright ripped off like the one he started on a shoe-string budget? None. When I first saw this incredible B&W classic in the late 70s - early 80s, it absolutely changed my life. I was in awe of how he was able to create tension and fear without ANY blood and guts at all. It turns out, when they made the film, they had a very small budget and couldn't afford anything like that ... but DID add these elements in later films like "Dawn of the Dead" in 1978. For his amazing creativity, wonderful personality, and moral message within each of his films, he was truly one of a kind, and will be missed. He may be gone ... but his incredible movies will be watched and remembered forever. George A. Romero (1940 – 2017) - father, film maker, friend, may you rest in peace. ------------- This is a graphics and sound mod of Out of Sight (Gottlieb 1974). Thanks to Loserman76 for allowing us to mod his original table. I chose his table because it played perfectly to what I wanted for this new table design and could be adjusted and modified fairly easily. His exact words when asked permission were: "Go for it!". Original Out of Sight (Gottlieb 1974) can be found here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=13254 Every graphic / image from the original table has been re-drawn (from scratch), heavily modified, or swapped out completely for new ones for a brand new layout. Multiple elements were also moved and adjusted to work with the new layout design. This table would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication and collaboration from Xenonph. Well known for his great sound and "flashers" mods to several tables, this time around he REALLY "stepped up to the plate" and took a BIG swing at adding all the additional features of sound, lighting, and additional extensive scripting this table needed. I am very grateful to have collaborated with such a talent as him. With every project, he goes over and above what is expected and never ceases to amaze me to how much he contributes to making tables and here on the forums. I can't thank him enough for weeks of time he put into making this table with me. This new table is NOT a solo release. This is a collaborative release from both me (HiRez00) AND Xenonph. There are 2 versions of this Night of the Living Dead (1968) table you can download: NOTLD-68 Mod v.1.x and NOTLD-68 Grunge-Mod v.1.x. NOTLD-68 Mod v.1.x is the standard 'clean and new' looking version. NOTLD-68 Grunge-Mod v.1.x is a totally 'distressed' and 'grunge' looking version as if this table was originally designed by Gottlieb and built and then stored in an old barn or warehouse for 40+ years ... to be recently discovered and played. Both tables play exactly the same and use the same custom 'Music' files. The grunge mod started as an experiment to see if we could do it realistically, and it turned out amazing. I am partial to the 'Grunge-Mod' version and prefer that version now. Because this was originally a EM (Electro-Mechanical) table, there are no ROMs to download or install. Place the files in the 'music' folder in your music folder located where you installed Visual Pinball - VPX. (DO NOT PLAY THE MUSIC AS THIS MAY ADD A TAG TO MP3 AND RENDER MP3 USELESS!!) If you would like to change the game options / settings (3 ball and 5 ball and bonus options), when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. Left Flipper selects item and Right flipper changes option. An original 'Wheel Image Pack' with multiple versions of the wheel logos can be downloaded here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=13586 If you plan on using this table in a cabinet, we have created 2 versions of the backglass, one in approx 4x3 aspect ratio and one in 16x9 aspect ratio for widescreen monitors. You can download the original backglass files here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=40476 DOF commands (as in the original table) are included within the script, but you will need to add the functionality to your DirectOutputConfig.ini file as this is an EM table that has not been added to DOF. For those of you (like me) that are using a PinDMD3, we have included a folder of DMD images and MP4 videos you can use in conjuncture with whatever front end software you are using so your DMD will not remain blank or static during game play. All pics, trademarks, logos and sounds belong to their respectful owners. This table is for personal home, and non-commercial entertainment use only. Most of the media used to create this table is freely available on the internet and should be consider as non-profit fan art. - - - - - - - - This project took considerable time ... so "thanks" or comments in the support topic would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE NOTE: I create these tables. toppers, videos, backglass and support files for fun and for the dedicated VPX pinball users on this and other forum. I DID NOT create this for you to download as SELL, MAKE MONEY OR PROFIT ON ... You have been warned! DO NOT include any of these files with other downloads or projects without asking permission first. All Logos, Characters, Copyrights and Trademarks property of their respective owners.
