Pinball Magic (Capcom 1995)
Capcom's Pinball Magic. Original table by Unclewilly. Unclewilly did a great job on a very challenging build. I would have never taken on this project without all the hard work he did on this table. This has been on my to do list for the better part of a year and I finally found the inspiration to complete it. The original build was never fully functional. Thanks to DJRobX for his help figuring out all the switches, timings, and other things to get the stage area all working correctly (btw, DJRobX is crazy smart!). Also, special thanks to randr for his help with modeling, miscellaneous questions, testing, and smart ass comments. The hand primitive is his. He's also responsible for making me implement the moving eyes and he did all thee art work. What's new: Lighting has all been updated and is now more accurate to design Physics Updated spiral ramp physics Fully functional, stage area now works correctly as does the hand and magnet (you can now fully execute "Silence the Critics" Add missing items such as screws and nuts Updated flashers using Flupper's octadomes Added playfield, flipper, and ball shadows Added/enhanced mechanical sounds Surround Sound Read More -
Alien Star (Gottlieb 1984)
Alien Star, a single level 2-ball multiball table from 1984. I ran across this watching some Papa videos online and decided I needed to play it. There were a couple vp9 versions out there, but I don't play those so I took the map from the manual and started building from scratch (well ok, I stripped down Hollywood Heat and used that as the base).. fast forward a few days and here we are. I know there are many inaccuracies with the table, and missing artwork and whatnot, but until I have better resources to work with this is what we have. I do think it plays well and is a lot of fun, be sure to watch some videos for tips on how to score big.. hint involves right-inlane and spinner + multiball if you can manage it. Thanks to hauntfreaks as usual for graphics help and play testing. download contains a directb2s that was a complete rebuild of wildman's on VPU with new art and lighting. also contains portrait and landscape POV files (table set portrait for my cabs). DOF should be functional but I'm not able to test at the moment. Read More -
Gulfstream (Williams 1973)
Gulfstream is a Bally game from 1973 that features a nine segment grid in the middle of the play field that forms a tic-tac-toe game for scoring bonuses like replays and extra balls. The B2S backglass is included in the zip file. The table has an options menu that can be accessed by holding down the left flipper while the game is in standby mode. This menu allows the user to set an number of options like free vs coin play, game mode (replay, add-a ball or novelty [points for tic-tac-toes]) and chime unit on/off. Please note that the Chime Unit On/Off is for cabs that have actual chime units in them. If you don’t have a chime unit set this to “Off” and if you do have a chime unit, think of this as a night time mode setting so that you can turn off the loud chimes at night. Thanks to Bord for his awesome Blender magic as well as for the many unique primitives that he made for the table! Also thanks to kds70 for testing the table and helping me get the bugs out. Enjoy! Bad Girls (Gottlieb 1988)
this is a strip and rebuild of Bodydumps VP9 table, Big thank you to him and his 4096 px playfield redraw. it was actually over 6000 but I had to scale it down. I included an all white bumper cap in the image manager. this is a Gottlieb table more then likely the default credit key is 3. their are a few code issues, non related to actual game play. their are 7 relays on this table, I have no idea what relay A or relay C do, the manual just says Trip and Solids/strips relay B and Relay T control sequential light generating aux boards. I added this boards based on a very basic code using the blink pattern in the lights. the lights next to the drop targets are working if you go to layer 7 you will see the flashers and lights I added. I could not get the backwall lights to work. if anyone likes to redo my code, one that uses Jps fade routines would be preferred. I'm not to worried about not adding them given that they are not necessary for game play. Read More -

Alive! Brunswick 1978
A re creation of the 1978 Brunswick table Alive! First, A LOT of thanks needs to be said. This is a conversion of updon719 Aspen table. From what I can tell Alive and Aspen, are essentially the same table, with only a few different sound effects. I was able to get the sounds from the machine from a few different youtube videos. I did my best to edit out the background noise and table noises. Luckily someone that owns the machine is going to eventually send me the sounds. Ok, moving on, I used some elements from the VP9 Alive! table, so I need to thank, Wrenchien the original creator, dboyrecords who worked on the recreation,Stat, and Borgdog who are credited on the Aspen table. I really started this just as a "test" as I'm trying to learn vpx, and teach myself some new photoshop skills (I have a very basic understanding of it). I started just touching up the playfield, just messing around, and I really got into it, and decided to "attempt" the whole field. It isn't the best, but when I loaded it into vpx, I said, "Ok, I may have something here!" So I kept going. I'm a big Elvis fan, and I really enjoy the artwork of this, and figured I would upload this, and hope some people would enjoy it, and maybe update it more. I also reskinned the Aspen Backglass to go along with the table. My final thanks goes to Brain Ryan who helped with adjusting the lights, updating the materials, color corrected the plastic so VPX will display them better, added some missing screws, ball and fipper shadows, custom color lookup and the pov. However; I do my editing on my work computer, so the pov MAY have got a little screwed up again . Here are the recommended pov: 0 8.2 50.8 270 0.884 1 1 -13 -3.2 -1630 Included I have the backglass. One last note, I have NO idea whats going on with the desktop version, as laylow sent me a message saying the background was still Aspen. I put a new background in to match, but couldn't get the scoring to work, if someone wants to take a look at that. Enjoy! Read More -
Safe Cracker (Bally 1996)
Here is Bally's SafeCracker from 1996. There seems to be a problem with the upper ABC lane triggers in this game. Sometimes they don't trigger as expected so we think it might be an emulation (VPM) issue. You can win multiple magic tokens in a game. But instead of pushing an extra button to start the 'Assault Mode' every new game will automatically start the special mode until you run out of tokens.
