Jaws! (Future Pinball to Visual Pinball Build)
This is a conversion of the Jaws DOFLinx - Cabinet Edition version So all credit goes to Rom, Gimli and Slamt1lt! All i did is copy the FP table over to VP and convert the script. Thanks to Hauntfreaks for the help first few days supplying basic table build with lights and PF images! Lets hope he returns soon so he can put the rest of his magic on this build! I used Flupper's dome technic and all his resources from example table. Thanks to Roth for the help getting the flashers to blink correctly with Flashforms. THERE IS NO Backglass or DOF so maybe someone can do that? All of Terrys DOF calls are in script from the FP version. I know there is a few bugs: Tilt issue if tilted in plunger lane so don't do it. Green lock lights just have a simple light object but did add flasher objects but honestly with all the drama i have lost the drive to finish them! so if anyone can tweak the lighting or flashers please let me know! Seems the ball can get hung in pop bumper for a bit longer then normal...maybe someone has a tweak for that? Read More -
Lucky Hand (Gottlieb 1977)
After loserman76 released his 4-Square table, of which I had done the add-a-ball (aab) versions Astro and Star Trek, bord and I had a conversation about the merits of replay vs aab games at home where a replay isn't worth anything really, and a lot of times it's more fun to play the add-a-ball. During that conversation Jack's Open came up, and I knew there had been aab versions of it made, so I did a little research, found some decent images and went to town on Sliderpoint's Jack's Open table. So first, big thanks to sliderpoint and gnance for the Jack's Open version, and pinuck who's table it was based on. I redrew the relevant parts of the playfield to convert it over to Lucky Hand (or Lucky Card), did a lot of re-scripting to change the scoring, built a directb2s for it from an image found online (I started with wildman's image from vpu which was higher res, but the other I found later was clearer imo so I used it instead), did a few minor changes to lighting on the table, swapped in bord's new Gottlieb flipper primitives. Sliderpoint swapped in a couple of different primitives/textures he had, and I left all the physics how he had them, so you can blame him when the ball drains :) There are options near the top of the script for 3 or 5 ball, replay levels etc if you wish to change any of that. At some point I'll probably add in the left-flipper menu system after the kinks have been worked out, and probably more options like freeplay. Read More -
Fire Queen (Gottlieb 1977)
This is basically a total rebuild of my Fire Queen table I had/have posted over on VPF. Someone gave me a mostly complete playfield redraw a long time ago and I forgot who that was, so thanks to anonymous donor. I finished the redraw mostly by adding inserts and background, got a new backglass image off the internet somewhere, found some scans of a couple of the plastics and some are lower res images (I can't believe I used to own vulcan and didn't scan the plastics before I sold it. bah). Hauntfreaks did some of his magic and made snippets for the db2s, bord made his rendered shadows/lights and a few textures (thanks guys!), and I redid a bunch of the scripting to correct some earlier scoring errors. Oh, and that was after sizing it correctly as I had made this before I found out about Gottlieb's switch to 42" playfields sometime in '76 when they also went to a deeper cabinet. hold down left flipper to access options menu before starting a game (idea borrowed from loserman76 and gnance) directB2S file included *ps. I may at some point do the 4 player Vulcan version, but there are some differences mainly in light animation that would take some ciphering, and this bg is much better. Read More -
AVATAR DZ Mod 1.0
Hey guys, Firstly, I want to make it clear that this is my first venture into table creation. 99.9%of the work here has to be credited to the previous authors of this table but I have been given permission to share my changes as an update. Thanks to Thalamus, 85Vett, Freneticamnesic for the original work and also the wider community for offering advice on script issues and how to move forward (Xenonph, Terry Red, Did Crabtree,Rob Ross and special mention to G5k for the ball :) ). I really wanted to add in the OST music to the table at start up and that was my original aim with this mod, however once I started digging deeper into VPX I found I quite enjoyed tinkering, making changes, making mistakes but hopefully some improvements. It plays well and hopefully you will like the subtle differences I have made. :) Thanks again Daz. Read More -
Clash, The (Original 2018)
Introducing The Clash! "The Only Band That Matters." ****NOTE: This requires SAMBuild R4637 or later **** This is a re-theme of "Rock Encore" by JPSalas, gratefully modded with permission. So much great music in the 80s, this table was begging for a re-do. Thanks to JP for doing the heavy lifting here, and Inkochnito for his scripting additions. "The Clash" was not possible without the brilliant work of: Xenonph, who did the audio scripting for me, and made some awesome changes to my effects. Thalamus, for adding SSF. Schreibi34, for the lighting tutorial. Scottywic and Bord, for making the shaped lighting on the drop target bank work. Flupper1, for letting me use his post meshes. Carny, for adding the "clash.zip" ROM to SAMBuild. Randr for adding The Clash to the DOF Config Tool. And finally, thanks to all the punks who provided input during beta testing! The "SSF" zip file contains the table and directb2s file. "clash.zip" is the modded ROM, included in the latest SAMbuild, and the Music folder for the game. Darling, you've got to let me know #1: The ROM on JP's table was "rock" ... so I used the "rock_enc" ROM so I could change the wording on the scoring display. If you use this modified ROM on your Rock Encore game, it will change the language from "Rock & Roll Lives" to "This is Radio Clash". Darling, you've got to let me know #2. This uses 19 music tracks so the game eats up about 115MB of HD space. I plan to release an EP version with only 5 or 6 songs, so people who aren't big fans of The Clash, and don't want to tie up HD space, can have a "light" version. NOTE: Distribution of this table, b2s file, or music on a computer, virtual pinball machine or any similar device, which is SOLD as part of a commercial product, or sharing this file on a website, or via a file transfer process, without my permission is strictly prohibited. Support the community by not selling VPX work on commercial purposes. The Clash music library is administered by Universal Music Publishing Group UK. Read More -

4 Square (Gottlieb 1971)
4 Square http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=940 Table By Loserman76 Backglass image used in B2S courtesy of Wildman The playfield is a redraw 100% by me. So if it sucks, you know why - haha I've included a wheel image, but it has been sitting on my hard drive for so long that I forgot who did it. If it is yours, let me know and I'll add you to the credits. Includes stuff/tips/tricks from hauntfreaks, BorgDog, GNance, JPSalas, Pinuck and probably many others that I've missed. when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" for coin and "4" for coin and auto-start game to simulate 3 coin slots Shadow config settings: Look for these 2 lines near the beginning of the scripting: Const ShadowFlippersOn = true Const ShadowBallOn = true change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables Read More -
