Some detailed instructions are on the installation page Thanks to; 3rdaxis: Original detailed Addams Family pincab model Flupper: Remodeled and simplified pincab from TOTAN DJRobX: For answering my many stupid questions as I was (and still am) learning! eMBee: For originally helping me wrap my head around Blender. ****************************************** A set of plug and play PinCab templates and primitives for use in VR, currently for; Bally Pre-WPC (Black Rose, Dr Dude etc. - Speakers on top of backbox) Bally WPC95 (Cactus Canyon, AFM etc. - Bally logo, 3d speakers.) Dead bumpers - meshes + textures
Here are a pair of dead bumper meshes, one flat/slanted top and one rounded. Includes the associated bumper skirt, rubber and ambient occlusion textures. You can paint directly onto the texture to add your art. I included a color sample since many caps have colored ornamentation. To color your own use the base AO texture and color over the area using a multiply mode in Photoshop to retain the contouring. Read More -

Backlass layout Pictures
I decided that I'm going to rebuild the majority of my favorite tables with authentic lightning easiest way that can happen is if I have a layout of the GI. I collected a "behind the Backglass" picture for the 4 major pinball manufactures Solid State and DMD tables ONLY Stern Pinball (1970s-1980s) Gottlieb (1970s-1990s) Bally (1970s-1990s) Williams (1970s-1990s) Data East Capcom Misc - WIP: Inder, Game Plan, Alving G, Allied Lesure Sega - no need early models have the layout in the service manual or are static Stern (2000s) - no need all are static (added for T3) their are a few missing, I already spent allot of time looking for them, I don't plan to look for them again. Missing files Beat the Clock (Bally 1985).png have one but it does not match the backglass image Cosmic Princess (Stern 1979).png Defender (Williams 1982).png Eclipse (Gottlieb 1982).png Force II (Gottlieb 1981).png Goin' Nuts (Gottlieb 1983).png Nudge-It (Gottlieb 1990).png Punk! (Gottlieb 1982).png Royal Flush Deluxe (Gottlieb 1983).png The Gottlieb (1990s) service manuals usually have a full backglass layout with all the IDs, I added all the IDs I could confirm. I'm sharing this files given that I don't plan to upload all the backglass I do, feel free to updated some if you find HQ artwork or authentic lighting is something you like. I'm starting with this ones as the artwork is amazing https://classicplayfields.com/product-category/pinball-backglasses/ Read More -
VR ROOM Educational Toybox
Update! 1.0.4. I made an educational toybox for new VPVR authors who would like to learn some simple scripting, lighting and animation techniques. This room features items from different authors and contributors. There is some interesting stuff, and I hope to add more in the future. All of the different objects are on their own layers for easy drag and drop into your own project, and I've detailed the script so that it is easy to understand. If you study this room in the editor, you will learn how to animate objects with timers, and with keypresses (on coordinates and rotating on their axis).... How to swap textures, and materials on the fly.... How to make a shadowmap layer, and animate shadows. Lighting techniques (by swapping images). There is a plunger and plunger button provided with coding for both analog plungers and buttons. If you don't feel like learning to code, I have still made it easy to grab each of the toys separately, and I separated all of the code so that you can grab just the parts you need. There are both an analog and a digital clock (Digital clock made by DJRobX and Walter Whitmer), Rascals working bubble machine leveler, 3rdAxis Fireplace and Donkey Kong machine, a little moving spider, a moving tire toy, Steely's Lavalamp, and more. I tried to annotate the script in a way that people can understand. I am not a coder, so it is all VERY basic stuff, but hopefully it is enough to get you started. Once you learn a couple of these easy scripting and animation techniques, your imagination is the limit. All of the items in this room were provided by myself, 3rdAxis, Rascal, Steely, DJRObX, Walter Whitmer, Senseless, and others.. Along with a couple of models I got from Turbosquid. Thanks to all of you guys. Read More -
