Rolling Stones (Bally 1980) Complete Re-Build VPX Package
Rolling Stones (Bally 1980) PLEASE READ BELOW - IMPORTANT INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED: This is a complete VPX 10.6 Re-Build of the Rolling Stones (Bally 1980) table originally done by JPSalas a few years ago. I asked JPSalas if he was planning on doing an update (graphics and physics) to his version and he said he wasn't planning on it any time soon, and gave me his blessing to go ahead and do an update / rebuild. GoldChicco did a complete rebuild of the table to bring it up to VPX 10.6 standards and I redid all the graphics, artwork, some scripting option, BRAND NEW backglass and a slew of extras. * * * PLEASE NOTE: This table uses the 7 digit Rolling Stones ROM Music files can be downloaded here: https://mega.nz/folder/7XxkVTqa#2nRMN9sTXIQwaCoqYRMdRg Make sure you put the music files in a folder named 'stones' in your VPX Music folder. TABLE ADDITIONS: - - - - - - - - - - New playfield, plastics, backglass, etc graphics. - Added 47 Game Play music tracks that can be played in either Playlist order or Random play and the ability to be turned ON or OFF at the top of the table script. - Added 13 LUT Brightness / Contrast Adjustments that can be done during game play. - Added Flipper Shadows that can be turned ON or OFF at the top of the table script. - Added Ball Shadows that can be turned ON or OFF at the top of the table script. - Added Alternate Drop Target options for Factory Default and Custom Upgrade versions that can be changed at the top of the table script. - Added 3 Ball and 5 Ball Cards, and 3 different Instructions Cards Option depending on your ROM settings. - Added Prims for all visible holes for giving the illusion of playfield DEPTH. Look at the wood around and under the drop targets and the lower lane roll overs to see this feature. - Adjusted Hundreds of Playfield Parts, Lights and Options for smoother gameplay. - Enhanced / New GI Lighting. - Included 2 .HDR environments that can be changed in the Table Options > Lighting setting. Default is Environment 1. Environment 2 has slightly "muted" colors. ROM SETTINGS: - - - - - - - - - - When the table is loaded, press the F6 key on your keyboard to set the ROM options for the table to your liking. These options will also determine which 'Instruction Card' and 'Ball Card' you should display on the apron with the script options at the top of the table script. You can also set the MATCH feature, # of Balls, and Show Credits with this feature. If you decide to use the Music feature, the ROM sounds are a little too loud. Press the F12 key to open the ROM sound volume adjustment. 0 is default. You cannot RASIE the volume over 0. Use this feature to set the ROM volume to -5 or -6 so the ROM sound is quieter. When you set the volume DB lower and click 'OK' or 'SAVE', VPX will automatically save this setting. You will need to restart the table for this new setting to take affect. The F12 feature is a little known option in VPX and is a BIG HELP for reducing the ROM volume for older tables like this one and some others that the ROM sounds are much too loud. I have used this feature with SEVERAL early Stern tables that were deafening compared to others. USING LUT OPTIONS: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When you boot the table for the first time, the table might appear a lot brighter than it is intended. Hold down the LEFT MAGNASAVE and then press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE to cycle through the 13 LUT options. This bypasses the need of using the Day / Night slider. Depending on the resolution of your playfield monitor, everyones preferred LUT setting is different. When you cycle through the LUT options, when you select the one you prefer for your setup - it will automatically be saved when you exit / quit the table for the next time you play the table. You can adjust the LUT Option at any time when the table is loaded, even during gameplay. PLEASE NOTE: Pressing the LEFT MAGNASAVE will shut off the music as well. Simply press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE (without the LEFT MAGNASAVE pressed) to resume music playback. MUSIC OPTION: - - - - - - - - - - By default, the Music Option is set to "Ordered Playlist". Start the Music at anytime by pressing the RIGHT MAGNASAVE button. If you want to turn OFF the music at anytime, press the LEFT MAGNASAVE. All music and audio has been properly balanced, equalized, and completely re-mixed so no audio 'interferes' with the sounds of the game itself. If you turn OFF the music when adjusting the LUT feature, simply press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE to start the music again. You can skip to the NEXT MUSIC TRACK by pressing the RIGHT MAGNASAVE again while the music is playing. INSTALLATION (VERY IMPORTANT): - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The install is fairly standard and straight forward, except for 1 IMPORTANT thing, the Music folder for VPX. In order to avoid the growing 'mess' of a million .mp3 files in your Music folder, the additional audio / music files for this table NEED TO BE INSIDE a folder called 'stones'. This reduced adding to the clutter and global warming problem. So when you unzip the music / audio for this table, the directory structure should look like this when installed 'Visual Pinball / Music / stones'. You will get an error when you boot the table if the mp3 files are simply dumped into the Music folder. - Enjoy the table. FILES INCLUDED: - - - - - - - - - - I have included enough extra materials / goodies as a complete package to fill out every screen of your cab (if you are playing in a cab), with 2 wheels styles for PinballX and Popper front ends, RealColorDMD and Toppers or Over / Unders for LCD screens, and some other things. Drunken Santa
Christmas is almost here! It was the 6th of november this year i got a message to make a table together with somebody. I send this person messages with all the information, but didn't got any reply back lol. I decided to postpone my other projects and started on the 10th of November on new x-mas table "Drunken Santa". 19 days later this is the result! First to all thanks to Davor Lipovac for using a sound from his Heineken table. Also my special thanks to stevegooner, because he is mister x-mas and provide all the nice x-mas tables in this community! I hope I'm also a good contribution to this community! This is an original table, with everything included in the vpx file, and it doesn't need any external program to run. It can be run in desktop mode and in FS mode. The DMD will rotate accordingly. This is a 5 ball game with on 1,3 and 5 million an extra ball. This table is with ball savers on the side for more playing time! I put the music in the backglass(I also learn from last time) and add a flex dmd table. (for the flex table i used a different letter type, because the original wasn't showing nice on the dmd) He drinks, burbs and he farts it's drunken Santa. Santa crashed with his sleigh when he wanted to deliver a package and now he is stuck in the chimney. Can you help drunken Santa and his elfs to lift the sleigh and get the package delivered? Collect the 100 toys in Santa's workshop for an extra bonus. Don't forget the beer and toy bonus. Hit the beers out of the ice for extra bonus points Can you get al 10 reindeers from the parking? Hit three times the Christmas for an extra ball complete the chimney for multiball complete the sleigh for multiball Leave a message behind and rank the table please! Drink one on me and have a merry x-mas and a happy new year! Cheers Read More -
Cue Ball Wizard (Gottlieb 1992)
Here is my heavy Mod of Cue Ball Wizard. For me it is still a WIP, so I'll keep up working on it, but at the moment I'm a bit tired of it and thought, it's in a good shape to release as v0.7. I have a thousand more ideas. maybe later. See changelog for details, what I did. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Change LUT (=lighting) with left and right Magna Save keys. Results are saved. Change look of upper acrylic playfield in script options (glass like, worn out, grunge) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: I started with Bigus' version. Table history: JPSalas (VP9 version) -> Rascal (conversion to VPX) -> Bigus (BigusMod) -> My version So all credits go to thewe guys. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Big thanks go to: - @Schreibi34 for his awsome insert images https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/prerenderd-insert-images/ - and most for creating all 8-Ball unit primitives for this table it was a great pleasure to work with you, mate! - @kds70 for some great help with scripting Thanks a lot my friend! - @jipeji16 for letting me steal his code for LUT changing and saving. Attack from Mars Limited Edition Black & White
Re Upload of My Attack from Mars Black and White Edition Mod of the excellent Brad1X table, Credit also of course to JPSalas for the original table! I have re coloured all of the table images and added a few new elements as well as adding some shading to everything. Lighting has been adjusted to fit the BW look and I've also added a couple of extra flashers here and there. I've re drawn the apron to include the Limited Edition logo and some different cards, there are two versions in the image library, one with shadow (default) and one without so you can choose whichever you prefer. The DMD looks best in my opinion in green with this version so I have added a few lines to the script to change it to green by default, feel free to change as you see fit though You will also find a B2S in the zip that matches the table look along with a Wheel and DMD image to be used in the front end of your choice (thanks again to Brad1X for the amazing high res playfield to work with, and nullstep for helping with the ball shadow) I hope you like it :) Read More -
Austin Powers (Stern 2001) VPin Workshop Mod
Austin Powers Table Tune-Up by members of VPin Workshop Discord. This was going to be just a fast rework for this fine table, but we ended up doing way more. Includes Desktop, Cab and VR versions in one VPX file as well as two POV files. nFozzy Physics: Benji, iaakki, Rothbauerw, Javier PF rework, graphics: iaakki, EBisLit, Tomate, Brad1x Inserts and lights: iaakki VR work & Various Fixes: Sixtoe Ramp plastics: Benji Fleep's Sound package integration: Benji 3D model changes: Benji, Tomate, Sixtoe Various script changes by iaakki, Javier Testing: people of VPin Workshop Discord, Rik Laubach We also included a new flipper trick with Rothbauerw to physics. It is called FlipNudge. One can use it for slowing the ball on the bat by spamming the other bat. Deadflip calls this "Fanning", but it was a lame name. This release wouldn't have been possible without the legacy of those who came before us including, most notably, Javier, 32Assassin, DStruct, Francisco666, Rom, ClarkKent and Ninuzzu Thank you to Flupper for 3D insert techniques and Flasher domes. Thank you to Fleep for the sound package. Thank you to Rothbauerw and NFozzy for physics. Thank you to Wrd1972 for bouncy standup targets. Read More
