Star Light (Williams 1984)
Here is the rare and wonderful Star Light from Williams. The story goes that this was pulled from production when Space Shuttle, its sister game, appeared to be the stronger offering. Featuring a wonderful art package by Larry Blazek and Tom Schmelzer, great lighting effects, and a layout reminiscent of Laser Ball. ***During gameplay use the right magna-save button to change lit star lanes. This project happened primarily thanks to The Loafer's hard work. Last summer he arranged access to the only known System 9 version of this game with its generous owner, Honey Badger. In one harrowing evening he drove hundreds of miles to the location, took all the photos that served as source material for this build, and drove back just in time to go to work. Thanks, Rob!!! Thanks to 32assassin for the switch and lamp assignments. Thanks to the game testers. Thanks to anyone that I sniped scripting from with the biggest hat tip to rothbauerw and nfozzy for their physics work on previous projects. Read More -
Lucky Luke (Fast Draw Mod - Gottlieb 1975)
Lucky Luke is alive - get your chance and get the Dalton´s ass kicked again. You love EM´s, you love Lucky Luke? So it´s your table we think. Vogliadicane and kds70 (me) loved to play some EM´s, btw. the amazing release of mfuegemann´s build of the Fast Draw (Gottlieb 1975) table. As mfuegemann told it was free to mod. First it was an only fun project to mod this Fast Draw table. We optimized and added some lamps and ligtning (casting inserts lamps to ligtht the ball correctly) to get it more real. So our fun project got those modifications finally: - New and backlit instruction cards, modified playfield and plastics. - Added ball and flipper bat shadows (thanks ninuzzu for his script). - Ball drop sounds via z position / thx to ninuzzu´s script options. - 2nd layer for inserts and lights casted to ball, backlit drop targets shining through withs shadows. - Hardcoded extra ball feature in skript (one per game and player) to help lucky luke fighting against the Daltons and a collect bonus option ingame (see gamecard). Believe me: it was a heavy wiring and soldering work under the playfield, - New B2S and playfield shadows completely redone, added music / Sound FX. - Removed drop targets hitting DOF effect because this doesn´t happen in real life. But added an DOF connector pulse when target bank gets a up reset. - and something more we forgot. So have fun with this release - we have it since months. Thanks to mfuegemann for his nice Fast Draw, hauntfreaks for his basic light improvement in Fast Draw. Table is v0.90 for future enhancements but finished already (we think). The desktop backdrop gets an over 100.000 points feature soon. Read More -

Hyperball (Williams 1981) - Analog Controls Version
***THIS TABLE WILL NOT WORK WITH FLIPPER BUTTONS!!!*** The purpose of this release is to allow for analog control input in Hyperball. The original table had two rotating handles that could be turned to aim anywhere on the playfield. The digital controls make it hard to make precise shots and to turn quickly from one side of the table to the other. Read More -

Post Time
When Williams released a new 1-player in 1969, the 'Paddock', a variant was built especially for the Italian market: "Post Time". However, the containers full of these flippers were refused by Italian customs. Send back to the US was too expensive. Loontjens, a coin machine operator in The Netherlands saw his chance, and bought the entire lot for next to nothing. And everywhere in the south west of The Netherlands you could find this game. Because “Post Time” was especially designed for the Italian market there was no credit wheel visible. Instead, a white window had been placed with the text “previous high score”. So, you could not win a new game but you could win 5 extra balls per ball (Add-a-ball). An anecdote is circulating about the design. In 1969 Harry Williams was director of the eponymous pinball factory Williams. And Harry was a passionate horse lover. When one of his racehorses lost a race in a very clumsy way, it caused quite a bit of hilarity for Harry's colleagues. (Reportedly, the beast put his four hooves in the sand in the middle of the trail for no reason, and did not want to move forward or backward). Designer Norm Clark and draftsman Christian Marche (RIP) saw the humour in it and retreated behind their drawing boards. The result was Post Time. Harry's horse ended out of time. Reason for disqualification! Press 1 to start game without bells, press s to start game with bells. Read More -
