Stellar Airship (Geiger 1979)
Stellar Airship, a conversion kit available from Geiger for Bally's Eight Ball consisting of a replacement playfield, plastics and backglass. Only 200 were ever made and next to no resources left. Thanks to Tab for his VP9 table and for the PF image. Original layout from JPs Eight Ball with Thalamus' SSF script, it got a new apron, plunger cover, plastics, bumper caps, spinner, new gates, Nfozzys physics, sounds, adjustments on layout, etc... Special thanks to: David, @scottt aka Scotty VH for volunteering to redraw all the plastics. The VP9 ones were not good and I only had 2 pics as resources, he did a great job hand drawing what didn't exist, thanks @Thalamus for his script, play testing and all of his expert advice @Mlager8, Matt for his apron prim and image @randr for creating a great place to have this hobby Read More -
Laser War (Data East 1987)
'Laser War' is the first pinball machine from Data East and the first machine from any manufacturer to feature stereo sound and 2.1 channel sound (stereo plus subwoofer). For sure one of the top 10 tables when it comes to the ugliest backglass of a pinball machine. But the table offers a lot fun to play and a great light show. I tried to capture that as best I could. Very special thanks to Schreibi34: Thank you so much for the awesome laser tower and for cleaning up the plastic ramp OldSkoolGamer: For providing me all the wonderful artwork he designed for the VP9 build Francisco666: For the reworked playfield image of the VP9 build Special thanks to OldSkoolGamer, ICPjuggla, Herweh (:-): For creating a very cool VP9 build from where I borrowed a few table elements Flupper: For his plastic and wire ramp tutorial and for the flasher domes Dark: For the gates primitives template and the flipper primitives from 'Jurassic Park' Dark and nFozzy: For locknuts and screws DJRobX, RothbauerW and maybe some other ones: For some code in my script like the SSF routines Mark70, Thalamus and digable: For beta testing and a lot great helpful feedback. Without you guys the table wouldn't be what it is VPX development team: For the continous improvement of VP All I have forgotten. Please send me a PM if you think I should add you to the 'Thx' section here. My fault! Check out the script options at the top of the script. There are options for GI and ramp color modes, a more or less jumping ball, playfield shadow depth and more. Toggle thru the silver or black ramp with the left MagnaSave button and thru the standard or a very colorful GI with the right MagnaSave button. Read More -
TX-Sector DOZER MOD
I started this MOD while waiting for balater's awesome version to be corrected to 100% working (the ramps are having issues.) Thalamus reminded me of Dozers version of TX-Sector, and there was always something about it that I wasn't crazy about, but I had forgotten, so I decided to go back and take another look. That's when I realized what bugged me. The table is somewhat "free handed" or loosely based off of the original version. So, I worked on his playfield a bit to get it closed to the original. While it's still not 100% accurate. I made it look a little closer to the real thing. I grabbed table resources from balaters table, and used some new resources for drop targets (feel free to use balater for your table). This table was also a notorious ball drainer, both down the middle and off the sides. I made some very small tweaks and put a post in between the flippers to allow some longer play. There are a few things I'm still not happy with, most notably, when the ball hits certain plastics is just "dies" and when it hits the flippers the ball sometimes just rolls off instead of bouncing like newer tables. I have been playing around with the flippers, but can't seem to figure it out. I do plan on maybe reworking the plastics next, but with Balater's table on the horizon of being finished I'll probably just wait for his! Read More -
Lost World (Bally 1978)
1978's Lost World is a feast for the eyes. A visual older brother to Paragon, there is no mistaking the stunning Paul Faris artwork. This version of Lost World wouldn't have been possible without top notch resources. The playfield came from a generous Pinsider, plastics came from miguelcerca and digable, the apron came from borgdog. Thanks guys! Other thanks: beta testers, borgdog in particular as he could A/B this with his real Lost World. theloafer for encouraging perfectionism. rothbauerw as always for helping troubleshoot the flippers. jmreedy for being willing to redraw plastics before we had the scans. Have fun! Read More -
JOE BAR TEAM (Mod by Zedixair 2020)
As this table is a Mod, all the credit goes to all the previous authors and people who worked on this before me (you’ll find their names in the script), and who accept mods. Thank you. JOE BAR TEAM is a famous French comic strip about the adventures of a group of bikers. The action takes place between the late 1970s and the present day, but most of their stories take place in the 1980s. They are the kings of bad faith, and their enthusiastic piloting leads them either to Joe's bar, the owner of the “café” where they like to meet (and where they sometimes play pinball!), or sometimes to the hospital ... It’s a French work, so out of respect for the authors, and because I was unable to translate all the humor in English, the whole table, the voices, etc., are in French. The soundtrack pays homage to metal from the very late 70s and the 80s. I hope you like this table, have fun. In the downlodable folder, you'll find the table file, the db2s file, the rom, the music folder, and an image wheel. Read More -

Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior (TBA 2019)
If the early '80s conceived of someone with the name of Mel Gibson and a post-apocalyptic world as a venue, then there could be no more than the Mad Max trilogy! The classic series has also received modern parts in recent years, which further enhanced the series' reputation, but I would now dedicate a tribute table to the second part of 1981 from a classic film version. Brian May's phenomenal music continues to raise the standard of the film. Video of the gameplay: https://youtu.be/Bt7go2lT938 Important note: the contents of the music library (mp3 file) are placed in the following folder: Visual PinballMusic So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.) Original (my resource) table: Road Kings (Williams 1986) VPX V1.1 Author(s): Sliderpoint Thank you very much to Sliderpoint for allowing me to modify, re-theme his superb tables!
