Hurricane (Williams 1991)
"Hurry, hurry, hurry, step right this way!!!" Check out the script options at the top of the script. Toggle thru GI and flipper color modes with the left and right MagnaSave buttons. But remember this is just a preview. To switch permanently to a specific color mode you have to do these changes in the script options. Special thanks to OldSkoolGamer, ICPjuggla, JimmyFingers, Koadic: For creating a very cool VP9 build from where I borrowed some table elements and pieces of codes (especially the math code for the Juggler and the Ferris wheels) OldSkoolGamer: For providing me all the artwork he designed for the VP9 build. Thx so much bro! Cosmic80: For some help reworking the playfield and some plastics Wrd1972: For bringing me back to VP and a lot ideas and stuff from his Dr. Dude build (the Dr. was my starting point for this build) Flupper: For flasher domes template and his awesome Whitewater table, from where I borrowed stuff and ideas (like flipper bats and much more). And especially for his ramp tutorial, his mail support and help during my first steps in Blender ClarkKent: For physics and aligning help. And some good advice and hint how accurate a VP author has to be ;-) Dark, nFozzy and Knorr: For locknuts, bolts and screws 32assassin: For the Juggler Box from his Hurricane WIP build Sliderpoint: For ideas and resources from his Cyclone build Dark: For the Williams apron template Dark: For the gates primitives template Ninuzzu: For the ball shadow code DJRobX and RothbauerW: For some code in my script like the SSF routines The one and only JPSalas: For all you are doing for the VP world. For the lamp code. And I'm sure I have some more code and/or ideas from you in my build ;-) JimmyFingers: For some sound routines Kiwi: For helping me adjusting some of the VP objects tttttwii, Westworld and Thalamus: For beta testing and some good hints VPX development team: For always lifting VP to the next level All I have forgotten. Please send me a PM if you think I should add you to the 'Thx' section here. My fault! Hope you guys enjoy it. Have a lot fun with "Hurricane". Easter eggs in the table ? Sometimes when you enter the lit Hurricane ramp, you can see a picture of a cow accompanied with a moo, you can also get a picture of a huge eye. Sometimes the unlit Ferris Wheel will get you an inchworm or four ducks. Sometimes, about every 30th game or so, when you hit the "Mystery" shot to start the spinning wheel, the voice that normally says "Thrills, Chills, Magic, Prizes" will instead be a weird voice (sounds like Qbert) that says "Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble". If it happens the first time on a particular game, then it will make the saying again the next two or three times you hit the Mystery wheel. Then it will go back to the normal voice and normal phrase. Read More -

Wipe Out (Premier 1993) [Visual Pinball X]
Updates done by Kiwi. All credit goes to him. He actually asked me to upload this update a while ago and I didn't get around to it, so my apologies. This table incorporates slingshots made from flippers that Kiwi was working on. It results in more realistic ballistics, if you will. Check it out, and thanks Kiwi for all your great work, the Devs for all of their work, and the community that supports all of this! Table built in VP1.05 Long ago, this table started out as only a playfield redraw, but then became a WIP. I got it along to a fairly playable point, with the help of Ninuzzi to get the ski lift coding. Dark also provided an excellent 3d model of the slalom and ramp models. However, I never quite completed it. Then Kiwi graciously offered to take it on. He fit it into his busy schedule and rehauled the whole table with graphical, scripting, physics, changes, etc, and added the "Kiwi" touch and as you could guess, it looks and plays amazing! Very much thanks and credit goes to him! As well as the following people who worked with me and/or Kiwi: Akiles50000, supplier of photographic material and testers Ninuzzu, the base of the WIP is from Ninuzzu, ski lift coding Dark, 3d plastic slalom model JPSalas, coding and testers Drybonz, for some changes to the table Gtxjoe, image inserts and domes Zany, primitive flippers JimmyFingers, sound routines Arngrim, DOF DJRobX, sound playback functions code Rothbauerw, sound playback functions code Thalamus, for adding and testing the sound playback functions code (SSF) Flupper1, for the tutorial on how to make textures ramps The VP and VPinMame Development Team. Boomerang (Bally 1974)
Boomerang (Bally 1974) This table has a few innovations (details below) built into it including: Accurate spacial sound positioning for playfield objects with stereo or quad playfield speakers Score motor based reel resets that exactly simulate a real EM Animated spinner drive rod Top arch ball hit and rolling sounds Apron side drain hit and rolling sounds Newly recorded sounds from Tropic Fun and Darling PinballY High Score File As usual for my tables, holding down the left flipper button for a few seconds after loading the table and before game play will bring up the Options Menu. Step through the Options with the left flipper button and select Options with the right flipper button. The table has A-D targets that when hit light up the A-D rollovers in the captured ball lanes. If all are lit, the Special lights at the top of the captured ball lanes turn on. Hitting the targets at the top of the captured balls when the Special Lights are lit awards the Special. All lights reset with a ball drain. ******************************************************** This table is the first to use new sound Subs with equations that accurately position a table object's sound at its playfield location. The new sound Subs also provide Constant Power pans and fades. They are in effect for all of VPX's Preferences / Audio Options. The table options menu gives you the option of setting up the playfield speakers in one of three configurations: Stereo front/rear (front playfield sounds come from the front speaker and rear playfield sounds come from the rear speaker), stereo Left/Right and quad Surround Sound. In desktop mode, the stereo Left/Right configuration is automatically selected. The table has a score motor routine that calculates the value of every reel and sets them back to zero stepping once for each score motor position in groups of 5. While this has no bearing on game play, it exactly mimics EM score motor reel resets. This works in both desktop and cab modes. The table includes a B2S backglass with: sound1="", sound2="" . . . sound10="" added to each score reel in the table (open B2S in WordPad and hand edit each) and each reel has the delay set to 0 ms. This removes all of the reel click sounds created by B2S so that the backglass doesn't make grinding noises when setting reels. It also removes delays in reel resets induced by the B2S delay settings. The spinner rod is just too cool, thanks to Bord for the primitives. Rip the spinner and you'll see what I mean. The table has a new feature that makes a realistic sound when the ball hits and rolls along the steel top arch of the table. This is a sound that most EM tables lack and those few that have it, implement it into the plunger fire sound file. This feature takes into account the ball's position and velocity. There is also a new apron rolling sound routine to mimic the sound the ball makes as it hits and rolls along the top edge of the apron after a side drain. New sound files were recorded from my EM's to replace the stock sound files that we all use. I especially like the "boing" sound from the spring on the plunger fire sound and the dissimilar left and right flipper sounds and buzzes. If you want to increase or decrease the volume of any sound, just edit the last value in the PlayfieldSound or PlayfieldSoundAB variables. Lastly, MJR has added EM high score display capabilities to PinBallY. Boomerang saves a special .pinballyhighscores file that can be read by Pinbally and used to display the game's high scores on the DMD during the front end's selection mode. I think this is the first EM to take advantage of this functionality? Thanks to Whirlwind for the awesome sound routines and hours of testing, Bord for the primitives and lighting effects, Editoy for the plastics and TXT11 for testing. Read More -
Accept (Germany)
Here is an original table about the German Heavy Metal band "ACCEPT" (you'll find all the files in the download, Table, B2S Backglass, Rules and Backdrops) Runs with VP 10.6 last version ! I used the table "ALGAR" from Thalamus and Kalavera and Kalavera's B2S Backglass as a starting point, so, big thanks to them for their permission to use their work So, you need to use the ROM "algar_l1" to run this table I changed the location of every element and added wire ramps, but the rules remain almost the same BALLS TO THE WALL replaces THE CHAMBER RUSSIAN ROULETTE replaces RIVER STYX, but, each time, you have to reach the LEFT hole first, and then the RIGHT hole without the ball hitting any other element of the table to score the 2X value METAL HEART replaces Extra-ball Here are the new rules (you also can find them with the table file, and in Table / Table Info, and, of course, on the apron) : Making 1-2-3-4 Advances X Value from 2X - 5X. Making Either Bank of 3 Drop Targets Lites RUSSIAN and ROULETTE Loops Shoots To Score 2X Value of Loop Shoot. Making Six Flashing Drop Targets Awards 10,000 to 100,000 Value. Making Six Flashing Drop Targets When 100,000 Lamp is Lit, Lites Top Eject for Possible - METAL HEART RUSSIAN and ROULETTE Loops Shoots Increase in Value from 10,000 - 60,000. At 60,000 RUSSIAN and ROULETTE Loops Shoots Lite Outlanes Which Alternate for Possible SPECIAL. Driving Captive Balls Against BALLS TO THE WALL Targets Scores Highest Flashing Values and Lights Ball Shooter Lanes to Score 50,000 and to Release Balls in BALLS TO THE WALL Lanes. Special thanks to : Thalamus for setting sounds in the script, adding sounds and testing the table JP Salas for testing the table and "cleaning" the script, and for his method to have flashers looking like flames from his table "DIABLO" Xenonph for testing the table, and some of his comments Flupper1 for his flashers templates Kiwi for his "always" appropriate replies to my questions in topics, and also to many others for their availability and help ! Retro BASH for the primitive ramp (at the top of the table) I found in their Future Pinball table IRON MAIDEN Zanny for his primitive Spotlights (below the ramp at the top of the table) Please tell me if I forgot someone ! And, of course, enormous thanks to VPX and VPinMAME developers ! :love39: Very special thanks to the band ACCEPT for their so "German" Heavy Metal (in the 80's, they seemed to come from another planet !) and to all the fans who encouraged me when doing this table ! Sript options : If you want to change sounds volumes, it's from lines 15 to 32 in the script The artwork of this table is based on the five albums "Breaker", "Restless & Wild", "Balls to the Wall", "Metal Heart" and "Russian Roulette" The band is : Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), Wolf Hoffmann (guitar), Peter Baltes (bass guitar), Stefan Kaufmann (Drums), Jörg Fischer (guitar), and Hermann Frank (guitar) - sometimes Hope Accept fans will like this table (they will find no other ! :) ), and perhaps those who didn't know this band and don't listen to this kind of music too ! Let there be (German) Heavy Metal ! Read More -
