Striker Xtreme
thanks to Sliderpoint and Xenonph for allowing me to modify his incredible NFL table. thanks to Sliderpoint for his model of goalkeeper, really stayed perfect! JPSalas for his huge help with the goalkeeper, without him he wouldn't cut a ball thanks! 32assassins for the 3D modeling of the ramps and for debugging the code. This table is one of my favorites, the first stern design after acquiring the division of sega pinballs and it is believed that this design was inherited from that company. the version that had been quite old and with graphics in low resolution, the playfield recreates it by parts, since I could not find a good quality photo to do it, the script is the same as the one that had the Sliderpoint and Xenonph table, with some small changes, like the lights. I hope you like it. Read More -
Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb 1986)
I initially chose this table as something that looked fun to re-theme for Hauntfreaks awesome Bubba the Redneck Werewolf table and also because it had not been built in VP for a long long time. I built the Bubba table based on the map in the manual. After getting that going I went in search of quality images to build the Hollywood Heat, and found some, sorta kinda OK playfield images. But alas get them forged into shape again with help from my buddy haunt. Found some pretty good plastic images on the internet for most of them, and rebuilt a few that weren't so good. Bord was nice enough to offer his services to build the ramp as he did for Bubba, and I think it turned out amazing, so another big thanks to bord. Thanks also to sliderpoint for all the play testing, advice, critiques, and helping out a lot. I think that covers the bulk of it and I'm sure I missed others..but thanks for ball control script by rothbauerw, ball shadows by ninuzzu, fastflips by nfozzy, primitives by dark, slider, haunt and others I'm sure. I'm sure there are things that will need to be fixed, that's the way of these things, so be sure to let me know about them and I hope you have as much fun playing it as I did building it.. back to em and system 1's for me. The Incredible Hulk (Gottlieb 1979) S34 mod
Big thanks to 32assassin for letting me mod his excellent tables! More credits: Big thank you to Francisco for his artwork! Table mod with a darker setting and the redrawn playfield. There is already an excellent mod out there from hauntfreaks and borgdog including a playfield scan and much more! I wasn't really sure if i should upload this one just because of that. But the redraw of the playfield is really good, so i thought i do this for the 4k guys. I think the work i have put in justifies an upload. v1.1 I just wanted to fix the DT light problem and then a couple of guys joined the party. Thanks to 32assassin, BorgDog, Thalamus and DKong! Eight Ball Deluxe (Bally 1980) [Bord]
Eight Ball Deluxe (1980) I received a scan in 10k(ish) resolution so I couldn't say no to creating a new VPX version of EBD. This game was such a classic that even Bally remade it. Based on @32assassin's script, with new plastic scans from @manples, and playtesting by @theloafer. Additional script troubleshooting by 32assassin, JPSalas, and @rothbauerw. Plays lean and mean like the real thing. Best when viewed on a 4k display. Read More -
Tron Legacy (Stern) (PuP Edition) (Not to be used with PuP Packs!)
Please DO NOT use this table with any of the other Tron Legacy PuP-Packs installed! Only use the included PuP files with this table! I recommend using newer updated Tron Legacy tables with new PuP-Packs, as this table is no longer up to date. Ever wished that JJP, and Stern made a Tron table together? Well now you get the next best thing! I present my first PinUp Player VPX table mod (well the first ever) of Tron Legacy (Pup Edition) VPX. Watch this video demo of it here in my cabinet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9iDJxhx2Eg Tron Legacy (Stern) (PuP Edition) PinUp Player Edition mod : TerryRed PinUp Player created by: NailBuster VPX table created by: ICPJuggla, freneticamnesic (original FP to VPX conversion). RustyCardores: Surround sound mod, new sounds added (where there were none) DJRobX: Updated physics and code to bring table inline with VPX 10.4 routines. ROM-controlled GI and PWM flasher support. Prettier Ball. HauntFreaks: File size optimization Other credits: Rom and GLXB (original FP table version), SLAMT1LT (Ultimate Edition FP version, and inspiration for this table mod) PinUp Player is a program that lets you play any video file on your Backglass, Topper, DMD, or any other screen using VLC media player. These videos can be controlled through the table's script, switches, triggers, lights, or other table events. This allows any VP, FP or FX2 (using DOFLinx for FP and FX2) table to have a Backglass or Middle Screen with full videos like Jersey Jack Pinball, modern Stern tables, or Heighway Pinball tables. You can control the videos using direct PuP control through the table's script, or you can use B2S Server and create a PuPB2S that doesn't require any modification of the table (but with less control), similar to a normal B2S (but really easy to make). This PuP table mod is not using the PuPB2S method (which uses B2S Rom calls), and was a complete mod of the table script. I created all the videos myself (1920×1080 for Backglass, and 1920×822 for Topper), inspired by SLAMT1LT’s FP version. Since this is a rom based table. I have no access or control over any of the game code or actions. I literally made A LOT of new code specifically for PUP that works based on only triggers / switches from the game, and the playfield lights and neon ramp colour logic. It’s a miracle I was able to pull this off, as this works with most MB modes, as well as the jackpots, etc all having unique videos with titles, etc. Because of this, I also wasn’t able to do anything for Sea of Simulation, End of Line MB, or portal, as they all use White for neon ramp colours, and I have no way to differentiate them. I hope you enjoy this new evolution for VP! Thanks again to the original table authors for their amazing work! PLEASE read all of the instructions for important info related to PuP setup and this table. Read More -
Harley Quinn (HauntFreaks 2017)
Harley Quinn (HauntFreaks 2017) originally diamond lady by JPsalas Graphics and Layout mod by HauntFreaks RGB LED effects and F6 menu implementation by Ninuzzu Drop Target lighting by BorgDog I am NOT a fan at all of pins with photos, especially on the playfield... BUT the table looked to me to have good bones, and since JP did the original I knew it was done right... also I'm not really a fan of Harley Quinn (suicide squad was terrible) BUT again she is the Queen of Diamonds and has an overabundance of artwork it was a no brainer to put two and two together... so after editing 50-80+ images for the PF, Plastics and BG... and also altering the tables layout my end of the project was good to go.... after that having Ninuzzu implement my vision of RBG LED inserts, he went above and beyond by adding f6 menu function and a bunch of other opinion goodies... BorgDog as always bailed me out when i cant figure stuff out myself by adding droptarget lighting... F6 menu options: -RGB inserts off and on -RGB GI off and on -Ball standard, harley logo, and glow balls -Flippers standard, and glow bats >>>>>>>ROM LINK<<<<<>>>>> B2S LINK<<<<<< WARNING!!! Exclusive Fullscreen users!! this table uses the f6 menu system, before setting the tables default settings turn off Exclusive Fullscreen set defaults then reactivate Exclusive Fullscreen.... if this is a problem , you shouldn't be using Exclusive Fullscreen in the first place ;) Read More -

CARtoons (2017) v2.3
yeah , yeah,... I know it's a long time comin' was it all worth it?... only you guys can decide if this has some real passion behind it. My whole life I have loved this type of art. CARtoons was a car comic book, it basically was the more family friendly version of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's monster art cars and rat fink. It featured artists like George Trosley, Dave "Big" Deal, Shawn Kerri, Steve Austin, just a few of my favourites. During some posts about the Rat Fink table... SliderPoint (mike) and I spoke about the old magazine and was told it had been re-released... in celebration of this, and having LOTs of art from the mag, I decided to throw something together. This idea snowballed into a desire to build an "aged" look table... I always loved BorgDog's (Dan) Gemini table, it being a "real" distressed playfield... so I used the components of Gemini as a start for the table, thinking it would be a quick throw together table since it was scripted(eye roll). I had gotten ahead of myself building and ageing the playfield. I say this because I aged it way too soon... this was not a fun task and I wasn't willing to redo it...but that's a whole other story.... Now that the scene was set, I have an aged PF and now I needed to figure out how I could age the plastics and 3D modelled parts and wire guides. After a bit of playing around, it was all figured out, now for the rubbers. I tried many colors, materials and textures, nothing was working... Mike sent me a texture and god damn it looked awesome. It's one of my fav things in the table (thanks Mike).... Mike also added some lighting effects, like a light with a bad ground and power draw from the power supply... it really came out great... I had an idea for a special effect back when this table was started. Our awesome VP Devs had added an animation feature and I really wanted to use this table as a showcase for the great features given to us by the devs. I don't want to give away the name of this effect just yet, you guys will see it soon enough. Anyway, I needed a 3D model for this and it was pretty easy to find one. I made a texture for it, and it was done.... yeah right, now it needed to animate. I had no clue how I was going to do this... I first talked to Randr and Dark... both took the time from other projects to throw in their talents so we were getting there. Next it needed to be sent to our VP devs Toxie and Fuzzel, voilà! The animation worked, now it needed to move and react within the table... I asked Dan, "so can it be done?" I believe his answer was something like , "I'm sure it could but wont be easy." So I asked "how about just a little?" He messed with it for a few days and sure as shit, it moved ... but could it do more?? This is the part of the story where I flake out and need to give VP a rest for a while and take care of real life... Fast forward 8-9 months... I return to the scene. While I was gone, Dan and Mike had turned what I thought was an over ambitious dream into reality. Now we're back to me being too quick in ageing the PF , I had never added the scoring to the PF... and I was not redoing the PF. Fast forward another 4 months or so... its time to put this thing to rest. I decided to add the scoring to the inserts... more ageing to all the other crap it needed and my part was complete.... Back to the "special effect," I think only Dan and Mike can explain this and I will have them explain in more detail.. again you guys will really enjoy this. Well at least Dan and Mike, and I think you will... I love it!! sorry again this lingered so long, I take 100% responsibility please see the installation tab for how to use the options menu Read More -
Judge Dredd (Bally 1993) VPX dB2SDT ColorDMD MOD v1.0
THIS MOD IS FOR VPX DESKTOP USERS ONLY, CABINET USERS CAN DOWNLOAD THE ORIGINAL TABLE. I first would like to thank Dozer316 for giving me permission to make this dB2SDT mod, and permission from Bassgeige to showcase his dB2S backglasses. I would also like to thank them for making a great table and dB2S backglass!! I also would like to thank everyone who contributed to this table including Lord Hiryu, Bmiki75, Teppotee, Kiwi and Hauntfreaks!! They put in alot of time and work on the original table and backglass, and it is appreciated!! So if you like this mod, I would encourage you to thank the original authors, as I have only made a few changes! Check Original Table download page for more important info. VPX TABLE by Dozer316... http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=11666 DB2S BACKGLASS by Bassgeige.. http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=11352 Each dB2SDT Mod will have ColorDMD coded into script. They also will have Logo and Instructions on right side of table. REMEMBER THAT THESE DB2SDT MODS ARE MADE TO SHOWCASE A WORKING DB2S BACKGLASS ON SAME SCREEN AS TABLE. I HAVE MADE THE BACKGLASS AS BIG AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT INTERFERING WITH PLAYFIELD. (SO YOU MAY SEE THE BACKGLASS GO OVER THE SIDE RAILS ON SOME OF THESE MODS, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO INTERFERE WITH PLAYFIELD OR GAMEPLAY.) THESE DB2SDT MODS SHOULD BE PLAYED ON WIDESCREEN MONITOR. THE METHOD I AM USING TO CONVERT THESE DESKTOP VERSION TABLES TO BE ABLE TO USE AND HAVE ON SAME SCREEN A WORKING TABLE AND WORKING DB2S BACKGLASS IS A METHOD I LEARNED FROM KAAN, SO I WANT TO THANK HIM VERY MUCH. THIS METHOD DOESN'T WORK WITH THE NEW CONTROLLER METHOD, SO THIS TABLE USES THE OLD CONTROLLER METHOD. I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE BACKGLASS AND TABLE AUTHORS WHO HAVE GIVEN ME PERMISSION TO MAKE THESE dB2S BACKGLASS MODS, SO I CAN SHOWCASE THEIR MASTERPIECES IN THIS FORMAT FOR DESKTOP USERS. I also would like to thank Steve "Slydog43" for which these VPX mods would not be possible!! YOU WILL NEED THE dB2S BACKGLASS PROGRAM INSTALLED FOR THIS TABLE TO WORK PROPERLY. I HAVE INCLUDED B2S Backglass Server 1.3.0.2 WITH DOWNLOAD AND INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO INSTALL IF NEEDED. YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "Disable B2S" UNCHECKED IN PREFERENCES..KEYS MENU, AS MOST VPX DESKTOP TABLE USERS WILL HAVE THIS CHECKMARKED. YOU WILL NEED TO KEEP THESE 4 ITEMS IN SAME FOLDER FOR THESE TABLES TO WORK PROPERLY. SCREENRES.TXT B2S.EXE PINBALL TABLE.VPX BACKGLASS.DB2S SIMPLY START TABLE AS YOU WOULD ANY OTHER TABLE. THE DB2S BACKGLASS WILL AUTOMATICALLY STAY ON SCREEN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE A DIFFERENT BACKGLASS, SIMPLY NAME NEW BACKGLASS SAME AS TABLE NAME AND PUT IN SAME FOLDER AS TABLE. IF YOU USE 3 SCREEN BACKGLASSES THAT HAVE DMD, YOU CAN RIGHT CLICK ON A RUNNING BACKGLASS AND CHANGE IT TO HIDE GRILL, AS THESE 3 SCREEN VERSIONS WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY WITH THIS METHOD. YOU CAN ALSO SWITCH BETWEEN FANTASY (FLASHY LIGHTS) AND AUTHENTIC MODE ON SOME BACKGLASSES BY RIGHT CLICKING ON BACKGLASS. The included B2STableSettings.xml will automatically start this backglass in Fantasy Mode as long as this file stays in same folder as table. ALSO ANY DB2S FILES THAT ARE REALLY LARGE WONT WORK WITH THIS METHOD AS IT TAKES TOO LONG FOR THE BACKGLASS TO LOAD. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH FLIPPERS STICKING, TRY RESTARTING TABLE AS THIS IS USUALLY DUE TO FIRST TIME PLAYING TABLE ON SYSTEM. This table is configured to use rom jd_l1 which gives the 3 ball deadworld lock mod but the later jd_l7 rom also works with it too. NOW YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE FULL BACKGLASS IN ACTION, AS SEEN BY CABINET USERS, ON A DESKTOP VERSION TABLE!!! All pics, trademarks, Logos and sounds belong to their respectful owners. This table is for personal home, and non-commercial use only. This table should be used for educational purposes only.. HOPE YOU ENJOY, AND REMEMBER TO THANK THE ORIGINAL AUTHORS OF THESE TABLES AND BACKGLASSES!! Read More
