VR ROOM The Phantom Of The Opera
You hear of a small local theater with a mint-condition Phantom of the Opera table set up backstage. Unfortunately they don't allow visitors, so you wait until it gets dark and make your way in through a broken window. There have been a few rumours about this place... noises heard in the dead of night. As you settle in to play with your back to the empty theater, you wonder if this was a good idea... - Latest Bigus version of the table (1.4) - Fully working alphanumerics without DMD capture etc - A visual and auditory environment - There might be a couple of easter eggs to find! Credits to 32assassin for the original table (and thanks for the permission to mod), and Bigus for this mod release (Bigus Mod 1.4). The table itself is completely unmodified from the Bigus release, I just added the environment around it. Info: - Set your far plane to 20000+ - Left magnasave toggles between no theater chairs -> no room -> full room - The 'S' key will toggle extra sound effects off and back on. Edit the script (all VR related functions at the bottom) to turn them off permanently if that's your thing! Read More -
VR ROOM Baywatch
VR version of the incredible Baywatch. Kiwi did an excellent job on this vpx version. I created a new basement to host this beauty so we can also enjoy it in VR! There are specific VR table options available in the script. You can use these to turn on/off VR objects and some gxf stuff. Be sure to check it out :). Credits go to: - Kiwi for his excellent table (v1.0.0) - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR! Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball :). VPX VR-Launcher
This is a loader for VPinballX_GL.EXE. With the included vpx-vrlauncher.exe and vpx-vrlauncher.vpx it's now possible to switch tables with plunger and flipper keys. Now you can stay at your cabinet playing and switching tables without the need of VR-controls. If you exit a table, the table-selection will be shown again. Best results (fast loading speeds, many capturing improvements) with the newest vpvr 10.6 beta of Caligula, DJRobX and Rawnei! You can find it here. Default cabinet-keys (adjustable in the launcher): LeftFlipperKey: previous table RightFlipperKey: next table plunger: start selected table LeftMagnasave: previous column RightMagnasave: next column PlungerKey: load&start table AddCreditKey: open filter menu (hold key, then toggle with left/right) If you want the default keys (shown above) leave this at "default" or "reverse" (without quotes). If you want to setup your own decimal key codes you can get them from vpx registry or with my debugkeys option. You can also use vpx key constants like: LeftFlipperKey, RightFlipperKey, LeftMagnasave, RightMagnasave, StartGameKey, AddCreditKey, AddCreditKey2, PlungerKey, LeftTiltKey, RightTiltKey, CenterTiltKey, MechanicalTilt Since v.3.00 you can setup your own filters and toggle them with a free configurable key (default = AddCreditKey). Empty filters are disabled. You can use comma-separated values for each filter. Optional you can name each filter. For this you start with filtername:filter An Example - If you want to make an 80s filter: 80s: 1980,1981,1982,1983,1984,1985,1986,1987,1988,1989 N E W Favourites: SelectMode-Key toggles: 1st press: Select favourites ON: Select fav with left/right and confirm with startKey. 2nd press: Save selected table as favourite: Change target-slot with let/right and confirm with startKey. 3rd press: Select favourites OFF Hint: You can leave the SelectMode-Key empty to disable the new favourites-feature. Tip: If you want to setup something at the launcher, you should disable the option “hold vpx_gl on top”, because you want vrlauncher on top, if you must setup things. If you’ve finished your setup, you should reactivate “hold vpx_gl on top”. Thanks to senseless, arvid and rawd for their support! Thanks to the community for making vpx a great VR experience! If you want to use parts of my code - use them without approval. :) Read More -
Star-Jet (Bally 1963)
Bally's Star-Jet is a visual stunner. Atomic era art combined with pinball's first three-ball multiball make this a notable part of pinball history. This VPX release is a bord/rothbauerw collaboration. Bord on visuals, rothbauerw on script/VR/FSS. It was initiated by robobet and resources were cobbled from a variety of photos to create the playfield and plastics. Backglass base image was generously provided by popotte. Thanks to the beta testers. Some notes: Ball lift works via plunger This game is a lot of fun with two players (lock stealing) B2S is included in the download This game is VR/FSS tested and ready (check script) Seriously, the art Someone helped me prep the plastic art and I lost his contact info. Hit me up so I can give you proper credit... Read More -

VR version of the incredible Mystery Castle. Great vpx build by agentEighty6 of this very original table. This is one special table and quite rare. I had to create the cab gfx as these are not available. All my new VR ROOM releases will have VR specific table options. They are available via the table script. Make sure you check them out :)! Big thanks to Rawd for his help with coding, testing and sharing cab resources for this VR ROOM release :)! VR ROOM Dr Dude
VR version of the incredible Dr Dude by wrd1972. One of my all time favourites when it comes to addictive pinball gameplay. Dr Dude has it all! The game is fairly simple... head for the mix master and go for the jackpot! But this pinball machine is very unforgiving and has NO ball save. This makes it a very exciting and thrilling experience. And the call-outs are hilarious. As this is VR I can do almost anything I want :). For this special table I decided the only way to play this is from within the Mix Master :). Enjoy and try to beat my highscore (see screenshot)... Scoring is enabled via flasher objects, so no hassle with external dmd captures! Big thanks goes out to wrd1972 for his excellent work and spot on version of Dr Dude. Credits go to: - wrd1972 for his incredible table (v2.0) - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR! Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball :). Read More -
VR ROOM Gorgar
VR version of the incredible Gorgar by fuzzel. Gorgar is a very unique table. 'Gorgar' was the first talking pinball machine commercially released and has a vocabulary of seven words. 'Gorgar' also has a heart beat sound that speeds up during longer game play. They also made a promotional record which was quite unique. For the ones interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgJEtDTc9d8 Fuzzel did an amazing job creating this table in vpx. Please enjoy the VR ROOM version of this cool table! I created a custom backglass to accomodate the scoring for this table. This requires the EXTERNAL DMD option. Credits go to: - fuzzel for his incredible table (v1.0.3) - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR! Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball :). VR ROOM Freddy A Nightmare on Elm Street
Finally got my Rift repaired :)! Wanted to get back into the saddle with a personal favourite.... Freddy A Nightmare on Elm Street by Gottlieb. Released in 1994, loved and hated by many :). As a big horror fan this is a great table for me. The VR Room hosts the latest release from Dark. A nice piece of art! The original VPX table is by jipeji16 and noted previous contributors are: JPJ - Team PP - Arngrim - Unclewilly - Grizz - Hassenchop - Hauntfreaks. Credits go to: - Dark for his incredible mod (v2.0) and jipeji16 as original table author - DJrobx for his contributions - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR!
