VR ROOM Fire!
VR version of Fire! Rotating color cylinder under playfield simulates building on fire. The player must quickly "put out fires" when they appear in various places on the playfield, by either completing a bank of targets or making a lit shot. Each end of a large horseshoe lane is protected by ramps that raise and lower. When lowered, they deliver the ball to ball locks. Upper playfield has a ramp that raises and lowers during play, allowing a ball to enter an elevated opening for multiball. VR version includes interactive backglass, integrated digits and the bell topper. Enjoy this great table. Credits go to: - UncleWilly and Randr for the vpx version and DJRobX for the update (version 2.0) - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR! - Wrd1972 and Bord for their work on version 2.0. UncleWilly and Randr for their amazing VP9 original, and Randr for guidance on the left lock behavior. 32Assassin for his VPX rebuild of the script and table. HauntFreaks for color-correcting sling areas so they light up properly. RustyCardores for PMD™ input. Fozzy/Ninuzzu for fast flipper and ball shadow routines Flupper for primitive flippers Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball! VR Room Attack From Mars g5k Edition Minimal (Bally 1995)
A minimal room for Attack from Mars by Bally, based on g5k's superb VPX version. I made this lightweight version for mainly for myself, but I thought as I'd share it for people who have issues running Rawd's excellent full blown VR room complete with UFO's, martians and burning houses, found here; https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/vr-room-attack-from-mars-bally-1995-g5k/ You can turn off the room in this with the magnasave button, but quite a few systems have issues loading it in the first place due to it's complexity. I plan to include the VR quality of life updates and changes I made into Rawds version as well. Or if you want something fun but different there's Unclewilly and Walter's Attack from Mars Battle Edition, based on JP's AFM which has flying saucers on the table which you can hit too (like Car Toons roaches) which can be found here; https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/vrroom-attack-from-mars-battle-edition/ Enjoy! VR ROOM Tee'd Off Minimal (Gottlieb 1993)
Added the VR conversions to this table that was done by rothbauerw and dark (thanks for the permission to mod!). It really is a fun table to play and looks great in VR! Sixtoe provided a once over and did a couple additional tweaks, including a fix to the outlane triggers and some reflections. Once again, I changed the typical minimal room slightly to have a wood floor, and a slightly different wall... which gives an appearance of lighting from the pinball machine casting on the wall. You can change back to the original walls and floor in the options section of the script. I also added a golf course environment as well (option 2 in the settings). Anyway, I hope you enjoy! And thanks again to rothbauerw and Sixtoe! Read More -
VR ROOM Cuphead Pro Minimal (D. Goblett 2019)
A minimal VR room for the fantastic EM era "Cuphead Pro (Perdition Edition)" table by Onevox, Loserman76, Scottacus and Bord. The VR room graphics and cabinet artwork were supplied by Onevox, WalterWhitmer made the era accurate Gottlieb cabinet and Unclewilly coded the EM reel backglass. Apart from that there's some graphics tweaks here and there for VR, and I drilled a few holes in the table ;) Enjoy this EM era art deco piece! ===================== Original table & readme; https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/cuphead-pro-d-goblett-co-2020/ Welcome to Cuphead Pro ... the "Perdition Edition." All new game features and customizations. V3 has some fixes and a new b2s file. Read about them in the Changlog. @Scottacus and @bord got to tinkering with Cuphead, seeing that a few improvements would have a big impact on the game play and fun factor. They shared it with me and Yowza! it was spiffy berries! I'm humbled by their interest in making this game better, and grateful for what they've done. I merely made some suggestions and updated some graphics. The most notable changes are 2-ball multiball on your third entry to Perdition, flipper controlled rotating top lane lights, nfozzy physics, and your choice of flipper size (2" flippers for greater challenge, 3" flippers for kids and me). Pay attention to multiball and you'll see a fun bonus addition. There are also several script and scoring fixes, along with some nifty visual improvements. Check out the new center bumper that releases multiball! NEW FEATURES WITH CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS: -Music can be disabled in the script (line 45 MusicOn) to prevent errors from occurring during runtime for those who don’t have the music files -Free Play can be enabled in the script (line 53 FreePlay) -The table can automatically set the bonus at x2 for the last ball (line 57 LastBallDoubleBonus) -The SOUL lights can be controlled by the flippers (line 60 ShiftControl) -The SOUL lights lit can be kept from ball to ball (line 73 SoulLightReset) -Flippers can be set to 2” or 3” (line 69 FlipperLength or ”A” key in game play) -Mechanical plungers can make game sounds upon pull and release (line 78 PlungerSound) -Music volume for the table can be controlled in the options menu (hold left flipper in standby mode to enter) This game is not distributed with the music. This is a tribute to the game and its creators, StudioMDHR. Cuphead is a game that was designed to have music from the Fleischer Studios inspired videogame. I love everything about Cuphead and am not interested in a "swell battle" with StudioMDHR. If you want the full effect of the table, with the brilliant music of Kris Maddigan, buy or download the soundtrack and add the songs. A list of recommended songs, that coordinate with each "Boss," is below. It is built on @loserman76 's EM chassis, with extra parts pulled from @borgdog 's stripped EM table. @bord coached me on creating PF meshes with the help of his video tutorials, @xenonph added music scripting and some sounds, @thalamus sweetened the SSF and audio. All of the above helped with scripting and ideas, along with cyberpez. My son, Max, was a consultant that made sure I remained true to the spirit of the game. Since this is an original table layout, mods are not permitted. (Unless your Scottacus or bord). NOTE: Distribution of this table or its related files on a computer, virtual pinball machine or storage device, which is SOLD as part of a commercial product, or sharing this file as part of "all in one" package installation via Mega (or similar sites) or via a file transfer process is not allowed. Add music: Buy the soundtrack, or purchase 12 Cuphead songs you love, convert to .mp3 and rename them "CupMusic1.mp3" through "CupMusic10.mp3, CupAttract.mp3 and CupHighScore.mp3" then place in your Music folder. I recommend the songs that correspond to the 10 bosses on the playfield, "Die House" for attract mode, and "Funfair Fever" for high score. Determine the length in milliseconds of each song using software like Audacity; this allows for looping the song if you good enough to play through an entire song. Change the last 6 digit number that corresponds to each song. Ex: Case 1:PlayMusic"CupMusic2.mp3":m02.enabled=true:m02.interval=230700 230700 milliseconds = 3 minutes 50 seconds 700 milliseconds. 3 x 60 seconds x 1000 = 180000, plus 50 x 1000 = 230000, plus 700 milliseconds = 230700 Here are the songs that correspond to the Bosses. Botanic Panic = The Root Pack Clip Joint Calamity = Ribby and Croaks Threatenin’ Zeppelin = Hilda Berg Floral Fury = Cagney Carnation Carnival Kerfuffle = Beppi the Clown Aviary Action = Wally Warbles Shootin and Lootin = Capt. Brineybeard High Seas Hijinks = Cala Maria Junkyard Jive = Dr. Kahl’s Robot Railroad Wrath = Phantom Express Enjoy. Read More -

VR ROOM Mousin' Around! Minimal (Bally 1989)
Added the VR conversions to this table that was done by Herweh (thanks for the permission to mod!). Absolutely love this table, and it's game play, and put a lot of time to make sure this one looks and plays great in VR. Sixtoe provided a once over and did a couple additional tweaks, including some z height / flickering issues and the GI overhead light. I spent a considerable amount time getting the backglass to be interactive, including the GI, the Alphanumeric displays, and the jackpot meter lighting up on the right. I changed the typical minimal room slightly to have a wood floor, and a slightly different wall... which gives an appearance of lighting from the pinball machine casting on the wall. You can change back to the original walls and floor in the options section of the script. I also added custom side rails too. Again, you can change it back in the script to be the generic black ones. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! And thanks again to Herweh and Sixtoe! Read More -
VR Room Jurassic Park Minimal (Data East 1993)
A minimal VR room for Data East's Jurassic Park (1993), based on Dark & Friends fantastic VPX version of the table. I've wanted to do an updated VR version for this for a while as it's one of my favorite tables, mainly because I played it loads back in the day for one reason or another, but I've really got a soft spot for it (unusually for a Data East!). It needed some real love in VR because of how the table is built and I'm hoping I did Darks version justice :) Thanks to Dark for the Topper and Gun primitives (and the original table of course!), to Onevox for the art for the VR Room, and to Thalamus for the updated SSF script from his github repository. A small note, currently the glowball option just doesn't work in VR due to VPVR rendering limitations, so don't turn it on as it won't work and will just potentially slow the table down. Enjoy! === Original Readme; Hold onto your butts! See script for lots of options! Everything for this table was redrawn and is presented in HD. If you have performance issues you may want to consider some upgrades :P. In the meantime however you can export the PF and plastics images and just reduce image size in half as well as disable some extra effects in the script options. The highly anticipated Jurassic Park VPX update is here and oh man what a journey. It all started what feels like a year ago when bodydump Tom offered to redraw the PF for me. I had started updating my Trex model but it was really Tom's play field that made the project take it's first steps into becoming a full fledged project. So I really can't thank Tom enough for the stellar job he did especially considering the level of detail. You can see the table's progress in this project: https://vpinball.com/bb_project/jurassic-park-t-rex-update-wip/ Spared no expense on this table: Dark: Just about entire table in 3D + plastics redraws, lots of custom lighting+effects. Bodydump: Amazing play field redraw, Trex box redraw, graphics help. Rothbauerw: Innovative scripting solutions, trex ball swallow ball effect (game ball actually get's picked up and swallowed). Implemented 'flupper' style base lighting for me. Randr: He was basically my slave on this project, I can't thank him enough for his infinite patience with me in seeing my vision come to life. I won't apologise for being a slave driver though. :P He entertained every crazy idea I had and helped me build many aspects of the table. Hauntfreaks: A huge help color balancing and remastering a lot of the plastics. flupper: Super custom JP pop bumper caps, DE flippers and flasher domes. Shoutout to ICPjuggla for his input. Resources: Trex pics: Jkimbrell, More Trex and table pics: Sliderpoint and his friend "Jim" Even got a bunch of measured pics (ruler in pics) thanks! I really hope you all enjoy this table, a lot went into it. Regards Dark Link to Original Table Read More -
VR Room Black Rose Minimal (Bally 1992)
A minimal VR room for Bally's Black Rose, based on Coindroppers VPX version he did with Hauntfreaks, GTXjoe & Dozer. I've got a soft spot for this table as it was at my local arcade for ages and wanted to give it the VR treatment and also tweak the way it worked a bit, and what started off as a quick job turned into a bit of an overhaul ;) The biggest (and probably only significant) gameplay change is that the whirlpool now works correctly with balls being able to fall off inside it. All of the ramps were also adjusted including the main cannon ramp. All the other changes were cosmetic, including adjusting primitives to the correct height and to stop objects clipping each other (where possible), and to improve the depth of the table and remove depth bias issues & transparency issues. Thanks to Tomate for fixing a broken primitive which I was struggling with :) Enjoy! Read More
