VR ROOM Fathom (Bally, 1981)
Bally's legendary 1981 release "Fathom" has always been one of my favourite machines. The art package is phenomenal, the gameplay straightforward but challenging and rewarding. Luckily we have a fantastic VPX version by 32assassin, Vogliodicane and Arconovum (FSS). Here's my take on a VR room for this stunning table. No killer mermaids around at the moment, but the signs of their handiwork are everywhere... Thanks so much to the original authors 32assassin, Vogliodicane and Arconovum for their permission to modify their tables. Also many thanks to Rawd for his help with tweaks and fixes, Sixtoe for the minimal room assets, a great unnamed modeller for the cabinet, DJRobX and Rawnei for their continued improvements to VPVR, Caligula for starting it all off, Senseless and other VR room creators for encouragement, advice, and playtesting, and all table authors! Controls: - Left Magnasave: Toggle between the full room, the minimal room, and the void - S key - disable the environmental sound - F key - fast fish! Note: the script includes a kind of live, in-VR editor I wrote up to help me place all that coral (around 150 pieces of it). Send me a message if you want to know more about it. Read More -

VR Room Iron Man VE Minimal (Stern 2010)
A minimal VR Room for Siggis mod of 32assassins Iron Man from Stern. I love Iron Man so this was a bit of a no brainer, but it's not been top of the list because of the relatively poor table art assets currently available, so when Siggi did his fantastic artwork mod it was an ideal time finally convert it! Like pirates I'd argue it's actually better than Stern's original artwork :) I've redone quite a bit to make it look better in VR, including the flashers, lighting and fixing quite a few other things along the way (including the warmachine shot), it plays really well (and really fast!) and it's jumped to one of my favorite tables to just jump in for a quick game :) I might try and fix the left ramp at some point so it works like the real machine, but that's slightly beyond my blender skills at the moment :) Enjoy! VR Room Tales From the Crypt Minimal (Data East 1993)
A minimal VR room and table mod for Tales from the Crypt by Data East. VPX original by 32assasssin and freneticamnesic. VR conversion and mod by Sixtoe, including an entire sweep on the table, rebuilding the tombstone toy (thanks to DJRobX for pointers with that), kickers, modifying primitives, plastics and numerous other tweaks across the table. I'd never played the table before and it's actually great fun even though I don't know anything about the TV series it's based on! (like most tables it could definitely do with new plastics, I've replaced a couple and would have done some more if there were more readily available but could only do so much with what I had) Enjoy! VR Room Stranger Things Minimal (Orbital 2020)
A minimal VR Room for Scottywic's fantastic Stranger Things original table. Inspired by how much fun the Harry Potter conversion was I decided to take a run at this, and this was just as much fun to do (depending on your definition of fun!). Loads of puzzles to solve and I think it's turned out fantastically (if I do say so myself!), hopefully doing Scottywics original justice :) Enjoy! Read More -
VR Room White Water Minimal (Willliams 1993)
A minimal VR room for White Water by Williams. Based on the glorious VPX original by Flupper, with Dark, Lobotomy, Wrd1972, Clark Kent & DjRobX. VR stuff by Sixtoe. This is a stunning table and one that's been sitting on my computer for a while, it needed major surgery due to how it was designed and I was tweaking it here and there for almost a month, and then it was on hold for a while whilst I tried to get the backglass working properly in table (so you don't need a db2s at all) as I wanted to make a really good job of the whole machine :) It's my first attempt at a "complex" backglass and I got it working how I wanted to but as always I'm open to feedback :) Enjoy! VR Room Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Minimal (Orbital 2020)
A minimal VR Room for Scottywic's amazing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire original table. The conversion involved a fair amount of tweaking to get it looking right in VR as I think it was very tuned for cabinet view, I wanted to spend quite a while with it to do it the justice it deserves, which also involved creating a pinball cabinet and artwork for it, and I'm pretty happy with the result all things considered :) Please read and follow the installation instructions on the original page, and then follow the instructions for setting it up for one screen use before you even attempt to run this in VR. VR Room Junk Yard Minimal (Williams 1996)
A minimal VR Room for Junk Yard by Williams. I never got into this one before, but sitting down to play it I really enjoyed it, no pop bumpers and a very odd but amusing theme, it's definitely different but I've learned to appreciate it now and it's gone up in my estimation :) VPX original by Mfuegemann, Fuzzel, Dark, Hauntfreaks. VR conversion by Sixtoe, new playfield by Arconovum, backglass by Wildman. Read More
