Space Mission (Williams 1976)
Space Mission (Williams 1976) Initially was going to be a conversion of PBecker's VP9x table, but Bord came along and provided his magic to this. Backglass came off the internet somewhere (sorry, don't remember where) in order for me to redo it. Thanks to PBecker and Itchigo for the VP9x version. I think the moving target on here is thanks to scottacus and one of his many tables. ZIP includes a wheel and the new B2S MOD only by permission of ALL parties involved. And for God's sake, don't include it as part of a commercial cab. Read More -
Space Odyssey (Williams 1976)
Space Odyssey (Williams 1976) the 2 player version of Space Mission for losers like me that have no friends Initially was going to be a conversion of PBecker's VP9x table, but Bord came along and provided his magic to this. Original release backglass came off the internet somewhere (sorry, don't remember where) in order for me to redo it. Thanks to HiRez00, it is now even better. Thanks to PBecker and Itchigo for the VP9x version. I think the moving target on here is thanks to scottacus and one of his many tables. ZIP includes a wheel and the brand new B2S (Thank you HiRez00!) MOD only by permission of ALL parties involved. And for God's sake, don't include it as part of a commercial cab. Read More -
Laser Cue(Williams 1984)Alternate.directb2s
Since Andrew Walsh started making the DMD overlays I have been using the external DMD or led reels for all tables. These are also almost always built into the back glass. When Laser Cue (great table by the way!) came out for vpx10, I got the idea to remove the led reels and fill in the gaps using Gimp. As a basis I used Wildman’s back glass file for Laser Cue. So most of the credits go to him. He's also given permission to publish this. Sorry about my English, Google translate ;-) Cordsl Read More -
VR ROOM Fire!
VR version of Fire! Rotating color cylinder under playfield simulates building on fire. The player must quickly "put out fires" when they appear in various places on the playfield, by either completing a bank of targets or making a lit shot. Each end of a large horseshoe lane is protected by ramps that raise and lower. When lowered, they deliver the ball to ball locks. Upper playfield has a ramp that raises and lowers during play, allowing a ball to enter an elevated opening for multiball. VR version includes interactive backglass, integrated digits and the bell topper. Enjoy this great table. Credits go to: - UncleWilly and Randr for the vpx version and DJRobX for the update (version 2.0) - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR! - Wrd1972 and Bord for their work on version 2.0. UncleWilly and Randr for their amazing VP9 original, and Randr for guidance on the left lock behavior. 32Assassin for his VPX rebuild of the script and table. HauntFreaks for color-correcting sling areas so they light up properly. RustyCardores for PMDâ„¢ input. Fozzy/Ninuzzu for fast flipper and ball shadow routines Flupper for primitive flippers Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball! Whirl-Wind (Gottlieb 1958) WHEEL
Wheel image for beautiful Whirl-Wind (Gottlieb 1958) from Bord -
Whirl-Wind (Gottlieb 1958)
Whirl-Wind is a great example of a classic Gottlieb woodrail. Like many of this era, it has gobble holes, a roto target, alternating scoring lamps and a lot of bumpers. What makes this game unique is the center kicker between the flippers that launches the ball toward the roto target. It keeps the gameplay lively and offers a unique flipper configuration. @scorpion approached me about building this game some months ago. He provided photos and even measurements. From there I started rebuild/redraw work on the playfield and plastics. Thankfully @scottacus was available on the scripting side of things. A quick word about what Scott was able to accomplish for this game: the peculiarities of how a roto target works, how it spins, stops, and indexes, were all thought through and brought to life in the coolest way possible. Even the lamps at the gobble holes light properly as the target spins. It is really something to see. So extra thanks to Scott beyond his normal excellence at bringing EMs to life for the ingenuity on display. Source images: scorpion Scripting/rules/ideas: scottacus Graphics/models/physics: bord Thanks also to the handful of beta testers that offered great feedback. Game notes: Two POV files are included in the download. One leaves the table at 1:1 and includes the woodrails, the other fills the screen w/ the playfield. The script has an option to enable the manual ball lift (authentic). I modeled the entire cabinet for this game so if someone is inclined to create a VR version I'm happy to share my files for it. Don't smoke. It looks cool but only another smoker will ever want to kiss you. Also it is really bad for you. Read More -
Pole Position (Sonic 1987)
VPX Conversion by: Goldchicco & 32assassin vp8 table by: TAB vp9 table by JP Salas Thank You to JP Salas for giving me the OK to proceed with this conversion and for those kind words when I presented the table to him: It looks good. Still it doesn't have the right proportions. I made the table 13 years ago, when the screen where 4:3, cabinets didn't exist, and VP didn't have any zoom capabilities. So I made the table as big as posible, cutting away the apron as much as I could  As you can see the graphics where 1024x1024, since that was the max size VP could handle." Special Thanks to : @32assassin for helping me with this conversion and for sharing his passion, knowledge and time. @vogliadicane for the LUT file @sneakily1 for the environmental image I borrowed from his personal collection @movieguru for upscaling and enhancing images This conversion carried over well known 'issues' as described above . I decided to share it anyway with the community, so consider it as blueprint for a new completely rebuild, feel free to Mod or share any improvements. Hope you enjoy it the way it is and please leave constructive feedback or comments in the support topic and will try to make it better.
